Inside a spacious room, a young woman sat with her legs crossed over each other with a magazine in hand, making her look very elegant.

Seeing the phone ringing, she put the magazine on the other side and picked it up. When she saw the caller ID, a sinister smile blossomed on her face as she swiped the screen to answer the call beamingly.

"Hehe, seeing you calling. Does it mean that you found something good, sister?" the woman didn’t bother with the greetings but directly said joyfully.

The other person on the side of the call hummed a response, making the young woman’s eyes sparkle.

"Haha, I knew that with sister involved. Nothing could bypass you!" she falteringly responded.

[Tche. You really have a sweet mouth, don’t you?] the other teasingly said, making the young woman chuckle heartily.

"Sister, how could you say that? You know that I have always respected and worshiped you!"

[Tche, is that the reason why you lusted after the man I want, Anna?]

When the young woman who happened to be the exiled Anna heard that, she felt chills down her spine, but she still maintained a smile on her face as she answered, "sister. We all know how wonderful Brother Logan is. Getting tempted is pretty normal, and that should show you that he still has it. Wouldn’t it be uninteresting if there is no one after him?"

When the other heard that, went silent for a while before the response came. [You are eloquent like your deceased sister.]

When Anna heard that, she rolled her eyes furiously, recalling the wonderful things her sister had done when she was still married to Logan.

"Don’t compare me to her. We are two different people. Anyway, sister, tell me. Is Logan’s new wife that capable? Who is she?" Anna eagerly asked, curious about the bi**** who dared take her man from her clutches.

If it wasn’t for that b****, Logan would have been hers, but that shameless b*** just had to appear silent and take everyone by surprise. As a result, she suffered a loss big time and was now stuck in a faraway country.

Thankfully, she could still pursue her dreams here while she lay low until her time came.

"Is she someone that I know?" suddenly she felt dread at the thought of that.

Her heart pounded loudly, her hands clenching into fists at the thought of the wife being someone she knew. With the way Alice was reacting on that day, she had been having an inkling that it might be the case.

And hearing this sister of hers saying she was a small fry; she was feeling unsettled.

[It’s the nanny. He dared marry the nanny!]

And Anna regretted it.

No wonder why Alice was acting like that. No wonder why everyone in the Meyers acted the way they did. They dared trample on her dignity to uplift the wife who hadn’t been seen at all. And now it made sense why she didn’t see Briar at the banquet.

She was sick and in the hospital after the altercation with Alice. Alice must have known that Logan married Briar after the fight, which made her stand on Briar’s side and watch her as she got humiliated. She even severed their relationship and did that for the sake of a mere nanny?

Ha, the more she thought about it, the angrier she became.

"Sister, are you sure?"

[Um. It’s indeed true.]

"Then what will you do?"

[Hehe, that’s for me to find out. Just behave where you are and don’t even think about stretching your hands far. Since I can deal with her, I can deal with you as well.]

After saying that, the sister hung up the call, leaving Anna feeling frustrated she swept off everything that was on the table in front of her.

She fumed angrily as she thought of the warning this sister had given her.

Her sister hated Briar a lot, but since she hadn’t done anything wrong, she couldn’t deal with Briar. Besides, Briar was a good nanny. Without her, Selena wouldn’t be free to play around, which was good for Anna.

The more her sister lost interest in Logan, the less she felt guilt when she realized her feelings for Logan. Unfortunately, all that effort was poured down the drain because Briar seduced Logan and got the marriage certificate.

If she had lost to someone else in the same circle, she wouldn’t be feeling indignant like this. But it just has to be a village girl and a nanny. How could she lose to someone who wasn’t well-learned and a bumpkin?

She refused to lose against someone like that.

Thinking about the earlier plans she had made with her parents, she let go of her anger and called her mother. Her mother answered after a few rings and she confirmed that it was indeed Briar who had married Logan.

That confirmation was like a slap in the face, and it angered her greatly.

She only calmed down when she learnt from her mother that the plan was in progress. Only then did she cool down.

After the call, she rose to her feet and walked towards the window. The picturesque scenery in front of her was beautiful, but because of her bad mood, she couldn’t even admire it at all.

There were many methods of ruining a person and it just so happened that there were many people she wanted to destroy.

She didn’t know if she would be able to have Logan after all this ended, but if she didn’t, she would destroy him at all costs. And since there was someone to deal with Briar, that leaves Alice, she hold another grudge for.

She betrayed her and didn’t take into account their sisterly bond. Since she dared to do that, then she shouldn’t blame her for what she was going to do.

Without further ado, she made a call and several moments later, the call was answered. However, the other person didn’t seem to be in a good mood at all.

[This must be good, Anna. I am busy!]

Hearing the cold tone, Anna wondered if Alice had angered this useless person.

"Don’t take your anger out on me, Tim. I am not Alice you can raise your voice at. Remember what you owe me!" she coldly responded, her brows furrowing.

The other didn’t respond for a moment before he answered, [don’t threaten me as well. If I go down, you go down as well!]

When she heard that, she rolled her eyes but didn’t say another threatening word. Tim was capable of doing that. She didn’t dare underestimate him.

"Who made you angry, by the way?"

[There is no need for you to know. Tell me what you want. I am busy right now!]

Hearing the impatience in the other’s tone, Anna could only go to the point and ask, "How is she?"

[Good, nothing is amiss. Why are you asking?]

When she heard that, her eyes narrowed, obviously not happy about that.

How could everything be well when she wasn’t?

"I have a way that can make you control the Meyers. Do you want it?"

[What are you trying to do, Anna?]

"Nothing. I just hate Alice to the core. She betrayed me and I can’t let her be happy. Besides, if we join hands, we both can have what we want. You want Alice and everything she owns, and I want Logan. Aren’t we on the same boat?"

[Hehe, you are no longer hiding your real self now that you are in exile?]

"People change. Do you want it or not?" she asked impatiently, not liking what Tim was saying.

[How can I not want it? What do you want in return for giving me this?]

Anna’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She hurriedly shared her thoughts with Tim, who responded with hearty laughter.

[Surely, women are the craziest. Fine, I will do it discreetly since it won’t affect my plans.]

Anna was happy to hear that. She promised Tim to send him the thing later.

After making the call, Anna felt much better, especially when she thought about how messy that family would be in the future.

With attacks from all sides, how would they survive?

She was eager to see how they would deal with such a mess.

While she was thinking about such things, she failed to see a suspicious logo which flashed on her phone briefly before disappearing as if it never existed.

The same thing happened to the sister who was once on the phone with Anna, Tim, and Madam Hilary.

Anna was still engrossed with the future that was coming.

’It was a good thing that I was sent here. I will be clean of any transgression!’ she happily applauded herself, a soft smile blossoming on her face, completely unaware of the tears she would be shedding in the near future.
