Chapter 241: Chapter 241 Similar Faces: Sisters and Brothers (9)

Su Yide’s eyes widened once again as he stared fiercely at Tang Sili.

The position where Ou Yanan was standing was that of the chief surgeon!

It was one thing to lose to Tang Sili, since Tang Sili was now a vice professor and naturally held a higher position than him, but what did Tang Sili mean by this? Letting a young doctor who had just graduated and become a resident take his place as the chief surgeon?!

Su Yide’s fierce gaze instantly swept towards the other people in the operating room. Their response to his look was clearly threatening.

Everyone in the hospital knew that the Su family was wealthy, unlike Tang Sili, who came from a humble background. Logically, offending Su Yide was not worth it, whereas offending Tang Sili seemed more cost-effective.

Tang Sili seemed to have noticed what these people were thinking and said directly, "Everyone, leave. You all know that I don’t need any assistants in my operating room whom I haven’t appointed myself."

After he spoke, it seemed there was no reason for Su Yide’s two assistants to remain. However, Su Yide could clearly see their reluctant expressions.

Who wouldn’t know that Tang Sili’s surgeries were exquisite? However, who would get to watch as a student? Without Tang Sili’s permission, they could forget about seeing anything.

"Leave—", Tang Sili commanded, not shouting as loudly as Su Yide, but definitely making everyone feel his authority and fear on the operating table, "You’re not yet qualified to watch my surgery."

Su Yide’s two assistants immediately blushed in embarrassment, ashamed that they didn’t even qualify to observe.

Su Yide spat fiercely and then looked at the anesthetist and the nurses, thinking, if Tang Sili didn’t even have these people, how could he perform the surgery?

The anesthetist had been repeatedly asked to bring Tang Sili over initially, so there was no reason for him to betray him now. After all, how would he ask for Tang Sili’s help in the future? Moreover, he said, "Doctor Su, I’m not a surgeon, just an anesthetist."

Su Yide’s eyes bulged even more.

The nurse passing the surgical instruments added, "I’m not a surgeon either, just a nurse."

You don’t need to drag us into your internal disputes in surgery.

Su Yide knew these were all cowardly people, even afraid of someone as insignificant as Tang Sili. He cursed in his heart and stubbornly planted his feet, watching to see how Tang Sili could possibly deal with him.

He wanted to watch Tang Sili embarrass himself and kill the patient. He didn’t believe that Tang Sili could stop the bleeding he couldn’t.

As soon as Tang Sili stood by the operating table, he calmly instructed his assistant, "Don’t rush, open it up a bit with a retractor. Remove the useless gauzes that Doctor Su stuffed in; we can’t even see where the wound is, how to suture and stop the bleeding. It’s as if Doctor Su has forgotten everything he learned from the surgical textbooks, only knowing to rub the wound with gauze making the blood flow more, forgetting that surgeons are supposed to use needles to suture wounds."

The people in the operating room, after hearing Tang Sili’s words, not only felt a huge relief, but some even wanted to cover their mouths and laugh.

Seeing Tang Sili’s mockery, someone was deeply wounded, yet every word was indisputably accurate.

Su Yide, realizing that standing there would only bring him more humiliation, stamped his foot, took off his blood-stained surgical gloves, and prepared to leave the operating room.

Behind him, Tang Sili’s voice once again sounded like a death knell over his head, "The anesthetist can get ready, in half an hour, Doctor Ou’s surgery will be over."

What?!

He had been busy for nearly an hour and hadn’t been able to stop the bleeding, and now, a young resident not only took his place, but also—

Su Yide turned back, unbelievingly staring at the two people on the operating table. He couldn’t believe it!

Then, the anesthetist monitoring the patient’s vital signs immediately slapped Su Yide metaphorically in the face, saying, "Patient’s blood pressure is stable, professor."

"Of course, because Doctor Ou has stopped the bleeding that Doctor Su couldn’t manage," said Tang Sili in a slow and deliberate tone, making Su Yide rush out of the operating room like a train.

The nurse snorted and laughed aloud.

Tang Sili’s gaze slowly swept towards the nurse.

The nurse, upon catching his gaze, shushed as if muted by the chilling fear.

"In my operating room, only two words—silence."

The operating room then entered a normal, very quiet, clean, and solemn atmosphere.

Su Yide stormed out of the operating room, fuming with nowhere to vent his anger.

Knowing that he was about to lose his temper, his two assistants quickly slipped away before he could even exit the operating room.

Su Yide walked back to his office, looking for someone to vent his anger on along the way.

Upon seeing a young nurse coming towards him with clothes in hand, his eyes suddenly lit up, and then, his gaze flickered. He saw the nurse, carrying the items, heading towards Tang Sili’s office.
