The headlights of an Audi swept over from the road, shining into Zhan Dapeng’s eyes.

Zhan Dapeng turned around.

Xiao Yebai got out of the car and hurried over to ask him, "What’s the situation?"

Zhan Dapeng had no choice but to relay the information he had just received from the builder over the phone.

"Let’s climb the wall," Xiao Yebai rolled up the sleeves on both arms.

Zhan Dapeng was startled: They were not even sure where Gu Nuan was located?

Zang Xiaolian showed him a call for help banner sent out by Gu Nuan and the others.

There was no need for hesitation now.

Zhan Dapeng went to find a ladder nearby.

There was a hardware store down the street. Zhan Dapeng borrowed a ladder and brought it over, where Zang Xiaolian had shouldered Xiao Yebai, finding the lowest point in the wall.

Zhan Dapeng quickly set up the ladder and climbed to the top of the fence, carefully managing to get his legs and body over. Once they were over, Zang Xiaolian promptly took the ladder back.

Xiao Yebai took out his phone to light the way. The two men reached the command post at the site, and Zhan Dapeng, knowing his way around, found the electrical switch and turned on the power supply at the construction site.

With a click, the command post lit up. All the electrical equipment that had been shut down powered back on.

The surveillance system hanging on the command post wall started up again with the power switch, linking to the hundreds of cameras installed throughout the site.

Xiao Yebai and Zhan Dapeng stood shoulder to shoulder, examining the situation on the construction site through the surveillance screens.

"My sister-in-law and the others might be in the main building," Zhan Dapeng pointed at one of the main structures and said, "The previous accident involving a worker happened there."

Xiao Yebai’s eyes landed on a truck parked beneath the main building on the screen. The infrared imaging was clear, showing the truck loaded with steel materials. He asked, "What did you just say someone had come to inspect at the site?"

"The rebar."

Xiao Yebai pointed and asked, "Is this truck carrying rebar?"
