Bai Qianshuang seemed to want to say something, but remained silent, just polishing her sword.

Ye Chuan felt something was off, but didn't comment.

"I bought amusement park tickets, we'll leave soon," Ye Chuan said. He had already purchased the tickets online.

After breakfast, Ye Chuan, Bai Qianshuang, Lan Xiaoke, and Lilith, hanging around his neck, set off.

Waiting for their ride, Ye Chuan sighed. Waiting for a taxi was a bit of a hassle. It would be better to just buy a car.

"Ye Chuan, why is that person wearing clothes so similar to those in my world…?"

Ye Chuan glanced over and saw a girl in a Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing). She was young, probably in her early twenties.

"That's called Hanfu, a type of traditional clothing. It's just not very practical for moving around," Ye Chuan explained. 

It was a relatively niche subculture in this world, rarely seen on the streets.

If they went to places with a richer cultural atmosphere, like Xi'an, they would see more people wearing Hanfu.

Would Bai Qianshuang look good in a Hanfu?

"I want to wear that…" Bai Qianshuang mumbled. Although her skirt reached her knees, the exposed skin still felt a bit uncomfortable.

It felt like she wasn't wearing anything.

"Ye Chuan…"

Bai Qianshuang looked at him, her voice soft.

Seeing her pleading eyes, Ye Chuan couldn't help but smile. 

"If you want to wear that, I can buy you one, but I've already told you, it's not very practical."

As Ye Chuan and Bai Qianshuang chatted, their ride arrived.

Bai Qianshuang rarely went out. After getting in the car, she sat quietly beside Ye Chuan, looking at the scenery outside.

"The sea," she said, noticing the ocean in the distance.

They were in a coastal city, and the amusement park was by the sea, so as the car drove across the bridge, Bai Qianshuang stared at the blue ocean, mesmerized.

"Is there no sea in your world?" Ye Chuan asked.

"There is…" Bai Qianshuang shook her head. "But it's black."

Black?

Ye Chuan was surprised. A black sea? The Tianxuan Continent truly had some strange things.

"Too many people died, and the red sea turned black," Bai Qianshuang explained. "And it's filled with monsters, also black."

Ye Chuan: "..."

Why did that sound so terrifying?

After about half an hour, they arrived at the amusement park.

"So this is an amusement park…" Bai Qianshuang looked at the roller coaster whizzing past, seemingly curious.

The roller coaster was filled with people screaming as it plunged downwards.

"Fun… why scream?"

"People scream when they're having fun," Ye Chuan said, seeing Bai Qianshuang's innocent expression. "Don't worry, you'll understand later."

Bai Qianshuang tilted her head, her bangs falling slightly apart.

Then she lowered her eyes. "Sorry, Ye Chuan, there are so many things I don't understand, thank you for teaching me."

"It's fine, we have plenty of time, we'll take it slow," Ye Chuan said, taking Bai Qianshuang's soft hand gently. 

"As long as you don't leave me."

Bai Qianshuang's body trembled slightly, feeling the warmth of his hand.

She didn't dare to look him in the eyes, just looked away and mumbled, "I won't leave."

Hearing her answer, Ye Chuan smiled and released her hand.

Bai Qianshuang froze, slightly raising her hand. The moment he let go, she felt a strange emptiness in her heart.
