Chapter 417: Chapter 395: Hijacking II
Hijacking... This was probably an experience many people would never have in their life, and it was even rarer for a group composed of old men, women, and a little loli to hijack a plane. Oh, indeed, there was a very tall foreigner among the hijackers, but compared to the hundreds of people on the plane, he was inconsequential.
Therefore, people began to cry out in horror quite quickly. A few strapping individuals had already started devising a plan to counterattack, with one person approaching a particularly large and strong man at the back of the cabin, trying to persuade him to join in overpowering the hijackers... Unexpectedly, this man just sat silently, expressionless, not even glancing at the man, which naturally struck everyone as cowardice, leading those eager to play heroes to scoff at him... Of course, Bai Xiong simply wasn’t interested in getting involved with these lunatics.
After all, people always have this herd mentality mixed with a bit of arrogance; whenever they gather in groups, they feel like their collective strength can conquer the world. They completely ignored the fact that the leader of the hijackers had a knife, nor did they ponder how he had managed to bring it aboard. They also deceitfully disregarded those few crew members who should have been dead but were as vigorous as ever, their wounds nearly scabbed over.
Soon, within this confined space, a rebellion erupted, led by men charging, women cheering them on, while the more cowardly or intelligent acted as a long-range throwing force.
However, much quicker than that, the resistance was swiftly suppressed by a few guns conjured by Xiao Nan, the lethal prowess exhibited by Song Xuan and Jingjing after they stretched, and the chaotic, uncoordinated friendly fire among the brave yet bumbling group of would-be heroes.
...
About 10 minutes later.
"Don’t rush, everyone gets one. Those who have parachutes, head towards the cabin door! If it’s crowded, just squeeze in a bit. Once I open the door, you will naturally be blown out," said the nurse.
Nurse Kazuko distributed parachutes, conjured by Xiao Nan, to every person present. At this moment, everyone was trembling, staring at these few like monsters, not daring to utter a word. In the aisle of the cockpit, there lay a body cut in half, belonging to the man who had rushed forward during the earlier rebellion. Oh, to call it a body wasn’t quite accurate, as this fellow was still alive, desperately trying to reconnect his lower half, and he was also amazed to find that the wound actually seemed to start healing upon contact.
No matter what, his appearance and the fresh blood spurting out intermittently were truly horrifying, added to the grisly scene created when Jingjing severed him at the waist with a chainsaw conjured out of thin air, was enough to frighten everyone present into silence. And as Chen Xiao had said earlier, people could be scared enough to wet their pants, so now the cabin was filled with the smell of urine.
Soon, all the parachutes were handed out. At the cabin door, the Locksmith and the drinker cooperated, fixing a lock on the door. It wasn’t that they couldn’t open the door the normal way; they just thought it was too much hassle.
"Are we done? Open the door!" shouted the drinker, his hands now holding a large bottle of strong liquor, although the food conjured had low taste and realism, and could not offer any feeling of fullness, it was still better than nothing.
"All right, open the door!" Seeing the last passenger strap on a parachute and shakily reading the attached instructions, the nurse called out.
As soon as she finished speaking, the Locksmith twisted the key in his hands, and the door flung open!
Suddenly, a massive draft of air rushed in. The abrupt change in air pressure from high altitude caused everyone’s stomachs to clench, and a few of those with weaker constitutions instantly spewed the contents of their stomachs. But before the nauseating vomit could hit the ground, they were flung out of the door by the powerful wind, a hundred or so people clanging together, squeezed out through the small door like the contents being sucked down a flushing toilet.
Very soon, all the passengers in the cabin had been sucked out, leaving no one behind. The Locksmith and the drunk then shut the door.
"Ahh... I hope they can operate the parachutes," Kazuko sat down in a clean spot, muttering worriedly.
At that moment, the Locksmith looked down, rummaging through his apron pocket, and finally pulled out another key, which he inserted into the keyhole and turned.
The cabin door was opened once more, but this time, outside wasn’t the blue sky and white clouds, but a pitch-black hallway. Simultaneously, another door at the opposite end opened, and a round, plump thing came towards them.
It was a large eyeball with limbs.
...
In the cockpit.
"Hey, do you even know how to fly a plane?" Chen Xiao asked Amin, "You seem to be searching for the buttons as you go."
"I’m learning," Amin retorted impatiently, his fingers swiftly operating various switches and levers while a data cable was plugged into the port at the back of his head, the other end connected to Chen Xiao’s phone.
"Can’t you guys find another port? Just a data port and I can control the plane," said the phone helplessly.
"Stop dawdling, there’s no port," one of them replied.
"Ah, back in the day I could enter into any electronic device just like that, can’t believe I’m stuck in a phone now," complained the phone.
"Stop whining. You’re the most powerful program in the world now," Amin picked up the conversation then pressed a few more buttons; the plane roared abruptly, causing severe turbulence, and then started ’sputtering’ as if it was about to stall.
"Hey, can you manage it? We’ve got everything ready, if we crash collectively, that would really amuse those people at the Foundation!"
"Quit talking rubbish!" Amin shouted annoyed, his hands pressing wildly, soon after: "Okay!" he shouted again, then pulled a lever, and the plane, in a very unstandard but swift motion, sharply tilted and deviated from its original course.
