Chapter 366: Chapter 353: Convergence

In the corridor, bodies were strewn everywhere.

"Come on, hit me!" Ziliang sat on his own corpse, slapping his cheeks provocatively, his tone full of mockery. Lin Fan and the postman both gasped for air as they leaned against the wall, seemingly devoid of any desire to attack further. If they kept killing, the three of them would end up squeezed together, flesh against flesh. Just the thought of that scene was utterly nauseating.

"You jerk really deserve a beating!" the postman cursed. He had truly come to understand the other party’s ability to disgust without biting; you couldn’t kill him, and you couldn’t pin him down either, because the moment he lost control of his movements, he would immediately commit suicide. How he managed that was beyond comprehension.

Hearing the postman curse at him again, Ziliang didn’t seem to care at all. Judging by his provoking demeanor, he probably got cursed at every day. If he had any shame, he wouldn’t still be acting like this now, "Ah, you finally understand that you can’t escape, huh." He leaned back against the pile of corpses, "Just rest then. Once the signal is clear, someone will naturally come to capture you." With that, he casually placed his hands behind his head, looking as if he was about to take a nap. This sight really made their teeth itch, but they were momentarily powerless to do anything about it.

Just then.

"I am A-Ming!" Lin Fan and the postman heard A-Ming’s voice simultaneously through their earpieces. They both stiffened, about to speak. "Don’t make a sound. This person is a member of Omega Squad. You can’t defeat him. I’m sending you real-time images, hurry up and move." As he spoke, an electronic screen also quickly appeared next to the postman’s earpiece, displaying the corridor leading to the containment area.

With the visual aid, the postman could naturally teleport, so he quickly grabbed Lin Fan’s hand, and they both disappeared in an instant.

This moment happened very swiftly. Ziliang, still lounging relaxedly, only realized after a good while that the breathing sounds of the two people opposite him seemed to have stopped. He opened his eyes somewhat puzzled.

"What the fuck? Where are they?" he exclaimed in surprise, quickly surveying his surroundings. The place wasn’t that big, and there wasn’t much space to hide. Once he confirmed that the two guys had indeed vanished, Ziliang looked confused and then... snap, he died.

Immediately after, he appeared on the outer side of the pile of corpses, looking at the empty corridor, scratching his head with annoyance, "Ah crap, crap, the captain is going to chew me out again."

...

Meanwhile, with the aid of visual positioning, the postman was finally not feeling as restrained. Pulling Lin Fan along, they blinked a few times and arrived at the entrance to the containment area.

"Alright, I’ll direct you to meet up with the others. Stop using your powers and just walk." A-Ming said, and immediately, a map appeared in front of both of them, clearly marking the route and the positions of others.

"Why?" the postman asked casually, though he had already started running along the marked route.

"Reina is near her limit. There are many anomaly detectors here. If you keep using your powers, when her shield disappears, she will quickly be found," A-Ming patiently and quickly explained.

The postman nodded and continued forward, dashing around several corners until he saw the nurse and others quickly running out from the opposite side of the road. A-Ming had mentioned not to use abilities frequently inside the containment area, so for now, Lin Fan’s Future Vision was turned off. Seeing the people, he quickly called out, "Hey, we’re ba—holy shit!!"

Before he could finish speaking, a giant eyeball burst out from behind the group, startling Lin Fan. The postman, too, was startled by this horrifying creature, clearly being chased by one of their companions, so without thinking about whether to use his powers or not, he teleported right in front of the eyeball creature and ducked down sweeping its arms.

With its big head and thin legs, the eyeball creature was inherently unstable, and with this sweeping leg, it immediately tumbled over, its eyeball facing downward as it crashed to the ground. Seeing this, the postman, without a second thought, pressed down on the creature and started pounding on it. Lin Fan also rushed over, pulling out a spike, aiming to stab it right into the eyeball creature.

"Stop!!" Thankfully, the nurse reacted quickly, shouting loudly and rushing forward to push the postman away.

"Ah??" Lin Fan and the postal worker both froze, bewildered and clueless about what had just happened.

"This eye is the person we’re here to save!" the Locksmith hurriedly explained and struggled to help the Eyeball up.

"You can’t be serious..." Lin Fan stared at the creature as if it had walked straight out of a horror movie, "We came here to save this thing?"

Finally, with everyone’s help, the Eyeball managed to straighten itself and "sat" on the ground, rubbing its "head" with its hands in a wronged manner, while its pupils stared directly at Lin Fan and the postal worker.

"Hey, hey, he’s not blaming me, right?" the postal worker actually stepped back two steps under its gaze.

"Nonsense! You’re lucky it didn’t jump up and hit you. Who starts swinging their fists upon meeting someone?" Chen Xiao came over and shouted, unconcerned about making a scene.

"But it looks like this..."

"What’s that supposed to mean? Judging by appearances, right? Maybe in its eyes, you look all jumbled up too!"

Bai Xiong couldn’t stand the bickering and immediately intervened, "Enough, we don’t have much time left. C-area is just ahead, hurry up!"

Once they heard this, they stopped arguing, hastily pulled the Eyeball up, and continued to move quickly forward. It’s worth noting that at this moment, Reina was extremely weak and was being carried in Bai Xiong’s arms, seemingly barely maintaining consciousness.

"Second intersection, turn left, fifth door, number C-255!" Perhaps sensing Reina’s condition, A-Ming’s tone became extraordinarily stern.

"Ah? The item I wanted is that old man, number C-211. Don’t get it wrong," Chen Xiao shouted.

"No time to explain. Do as I say, use the time lock core!" A-Ming said briefly.

"Alright!" the Locksmith responded promptly.

Without further discussion, luckily, the target wasn’t too far from them. In less than a minute, they all rushed to the door. The Drunkard already charged forward, not caring about triggering any defense mechanisms, and with a violent thrust, poked a hole in the protection door. The next second, the Locksmith very skillfully inserted a slightly different lock core into the hole and turned the key several times.

Chen Xiao noticed that after the key was turned, it began to slowly rotate back, like a spring unwinding. It seemed it would take a while to open the door.

"Move on to the next corner, C-211!" A-Ming’s voice came again, and the group hurriedly ran forward.

Suddenly... a door marked C-211 appeared in front of everyone.
