Chapter 796: Chapter 0797: Leng Xue [Second Update]
Seeing the girl in front of him cry out in pain, Ye Qiu hurriedly helped her up.
Leng Xue struggled and asked urgently, "You... What are you trying to do?"
"Of course, I’m going to treat you, or take you to the hospital for treatment."
Before Leng Xue could struggle or say anything else, Ye Qiu had already picked her up, opened the car door, and let her lie down in the back seat.
Ye Qiu grabbed Leng Xue’s bag and then drove off from the scene.
After he reached a place where he could park, Ye Qiu looked at her and asked, "Do you want me to treat you, or should I take you to the hospital?"
"You treat me? How would you treat me?"
Leng Xue continued to cry in pain as she asked.
Ye Qiu opened the car door, walked to the back seat, lifted the floral dress Leng Xue was wearing, and saw visible wounds and bruises.
"I’m also a doctor."
Ye Qiu said.
As he carefully examined Leng Xue, he found that her legs had just been hit by a car—not run over—and when she fell to the ground, her fair skin had been scraped, producing blood marks.
Her arms and palms were also injured.
"You’re a doctor? I don’t believe you!"
Leng Xue responded.
Ye Qiu’s expression turned cold as he said, "Either I treat you now, or I’ll take you to the hospital, and you can recover there."
Ye Qiu didn’t seem to care about her opinion and wasn’t influenced by the fact that she was a beautiful woman.
If she hadn’t suddenly dashed out earlier, there was no way Ye Qiu’s driving skills would have allowed him to hit her.
Seeing Ye Qiu’s sudden indifference, Leng Xue seemed to be frightened. She stopped struggling and simply let tears stream from her eyes.
"Close your eyes."
Ye Qiu instructed her to close her eyes.
During his earlier examination, Ye Qiu hadn’t found any broken bones; the cuts and bruises were minor injuries.
As Leng Xue closed her eyes, she felt an inexplicable cooling sensation spread throughout her body, and her blood marks and bruises completely vanished.
"All done. Do you feel any discomfort now?"
Ye Qiu asked.
Leng Xue was utterly shocked.
This is impossible!
Ye Qiu had just treated her like that, and those were real injuries—real pain. Now it was all gone.
How could this happen?
Leng Xue still found it hard to believe.
She thoroughly examined herself and discovered that the pain she had previously felt had truly disappeared entirely.
No choice but to admit that Ye Qiu was seriously strange. He didn’t align with the information and impressions she had of him. But even so, Leng Xue continued to cry softly and said, "I’m not in pain anymore, but what about my new dress that you just ruined?"
Ye Qiu glanced at her dress, which had likely been torn during the accident and was now damaged in several places.
"How much was it? I’ll compensate you."
"Three thousand."
Leng Xue replied.
Ye Qiu could instantly tell whether her dress was really worth three thousand or not.
"I’ll give you ten thousand as compensation for hitting you. After that, get lost and don’t appear in front of me again."
Ye Qiu said coldly.
When Leng Xue told him her account number, Ye Qiu was prepared to transfer ten thousand to her via his bank card, but Leng Xue seemed enraged, opened the car door, grabbed her bag, and said, "I didn’t do it on purpose! Do you think I was trying to scam you? Forget it, I don’t want your money!"
Leng Xue clutched her bag and walked away.
Watching Leng Xue’s departing figure, Ye Qiu fell into contemplation.
But soon, he dismissed the thought.
He got out of the car, locked the door, and called Li Shen on his phone.
"Qiu-ge, Little Zhu and I, along with Luo Yang, have already bought the daily necessities. Want to come and shop too?"
Jinling University is enormous, with a first, second, third, and fourth cafeteria. Banks have branches on campus, too, and there’s practically a supermarket near every cafeteria.
Right now, Li Shen and Zhu Zhiming were at the underground supermarket near the first cafeteria.
"I’ll head over now."
Ye Qiu locked his car and made his way to the supermarket.
Upon arriving at the underground supermarket, Ye Qiu noticed many male and female students shopping inside—picking up necessities and snacks alike.
Ye Qiu glanced at the prices there and found they didn’t differ much from those outside supermarkets.
"Qiu-ge, over here!"
Zhu Zhiming and Li Shen had separately purchased new towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hangers, water buckets, and other necessities—a large haul that cost over one hundred yuan.
"Qiu-ge, are you buying anything?"
Luo Yang asked.
"I don’t plan to live in the dorms."
Since Ye Qiu lived in a villa, why would he stay in these dorms? Besides, he needed to cultivate at night and didn’t want to be disturbed by the guys in the dorm.
"Qiu-ge, you’re not staying at the dorms?"
Earlier, Luo Yang had seen Ye Qiu driving a luxury car and was already quite surprised.
"Maybe occasionally, but I’ll mostly stay at home."
Ye Qiu didn’t need to purchase any daily necessities, and even if he did, he planned to have the dorm guys take care of it.
After all, whoever had the bigger fists was the boss.
The jerks who tried forcing him to do their laundry deserved a bit of discipline; Ye Qiu figured he’d teach them a lesson and have them do some chores in the process.
With their shopping done, Li Shen and Zhu Zhiming brought their haul back to their dorm while Ye Qiu and Luo Yang headed toward theirs.
After being harshly beaten by Ye Qiu that morning, Ning Yun had gone home for lunch. The remaining four guys in the dorm were now too scared to face Ye Qiu.
When Ye Qiu and Luo Yang appeared together, the four boys quickly approached and greeted him, "Qiu-ge."
"Why does the dorm smell like crap?"
They sniffed around and quickly discovered basketball jerseys and socks Luo Yang had left unwashed, with a heavy stench of sweat still lingering.
Luo Yang had played basketball all morning and undoubtedly sweated buckets.
"Qiu-ge, those are mine. I was just about to wash them."
Luo Yang explained.
"No need. Have these guys wash them for you."
Ye Qiu ordered.
Looking at one of the boys, not even knowing his name, Ye Qiu said, "From now on, you’re Number One. He’s Number Two, and as for you two—you’re Number Three and Number Four. Number One, go wash Luo Yang’s clothes and socks."
The boy dubbed Number One reluctantly took Luo Yang’s basketball jersey and socks and went off to wash them.
"Qiu-ge, what—?"
Luo Yang was stunned. Why were these guys so obedient to Ye Qiu?
"You’re Number Two from now on in this dorm."
Ye Qiu said.
The other three looked at each other but didn’t dare utter a word.
After all, Ye Qiu had pummeled Ning Yun until he resembled a swollen pig. There was no way they wanted to provoke him.
