Chapter 875: Chapter 0875: Su Luoluo Faints

Tomorrow marks the end of military training. After the unified assessment, this year’s freshman training period will conclude.

When Ye Qiu returned to the training field, Wu Shuang was instructing the freshmen in practicing military boxing.

After Ye Qiu joined in, he continued practicing.

They practiced for an hour and a half straight, then paused for a break to drink water.

Compared to other classes, the freshmen in Ye Qiu’s class felt much more comfortable—they weren’t overly sunburned, nor did they spend each day repeatedly drilling marching steps like the others.

Because of this, these freshmen even felt as if they weren’t undergoing real military training.

After drinking water and resting for ten minutes, they resumed practice. Suddenly, not far away, near the Economics and Management Department’s class led by Liu Lingxiu, while the boys and girls were practicing "marching in step" under the instructor’s guidance, a girl suddenly collapsed.

The girl who fainted wasn’t just anyone—it was Su Luoluo.

The instructor was startled when he saw this, and while other students gathered around, nobody dared to act—they weren’t medical professionals.

"Hurry and call 120!"

The instructor shouted.

He didn’t want anything serious to happen with a trainee just as the military training was about to end. He couldn’t bear the responsibility.

Su Luoluo had collapsed; her complexion was pale, her breathing rapid—it didn’t look like normal heatstroke.

The instructor, unsure of how to handle the situation, could only have students call for emergency assistance.

Then, the instructor anxiously waited for the ambulance to arrive.

For now, a student held an umbrella to shade Su Luoluo, but even offering her water was something they didn’t dare to do.

"Brother Qiu, there seems to be an issue with someone over there!"

Luo Yang said.

"Ye Qiu, hurry over and take a look!"

Wu Shuang, knowing Ye Qiu’s exceptional medical skills, naturally hoped Ye Qiu would step forward to help.

Generally, Ye Qiu wouldn’t bother with others. However, since Wu Shuang had spoken, Ye Qiu headed over accompanied by Wu Shuang, Luo Yang, and several other classmates.

Arriving at the scene, Wu Shuang suggested, "Let Ye Qiu take a look at her."

Inside the gathered crowd, Ye Qiu found himself surprised to discover the person who had fainted was Su Luoluo.

Her health really seemed poor!

With boys and girls looking on nervously from the sidelines, Ye Qiu directly carried the unconscious Su Luoluo to the shade under a nearby tree. After conducting a quick examination, he figured out her condition.

"She’s obviously fainted due to low blood pressure. She’ll recover quickly," Ye Qiu said.

True to his word, after a short while, Su Luoluo opened her eyes.

But she was puzzled—why was she in Ye Qiu’s arms?

"Get up yourself," Ye Qiu said, releasing her.

Without looking back, he walked away.

As Ye Qiu left, Su Luoluo realized that she had fainted earlier and that Ye Qiu had carried her to safety.

Su Luoluo was aware of Ye Qiu’s impressive medical skills—clearly, he had treated her. However, the surrounding students didn’t know this; they merely thought Ye Qiu had moved her aside and left her there.

Returning to their class, as Ye Qiu and Luo Yang made their way back, Luo Yang couldn’t help but feel curious. He sensed that Ye Qiu and Su Luoluo seemed familiar with each other somehow.

After morning training, Ye Qiu returned to the male dormitory with Luo Yang and the others, took a shower, and changed back into his everyday clothes.

Just as he was coming downstairs, he noticed the counselor Song Ying arriving again.

No doubt she was here to ask for treatment for her niece, Song Jing!

"You guys go eat on your own; I’m heading to the counselor’s house for a meal!"

Ye Qiu said with a grin.

Watching Ye Qiu leave with the counselor, Luo Yang and the others were envious to the core.

"I heard you treated a girl who fainted in another class this morning?"

"She just fainted because of low blood pressure. A simple hospital visit and treatment will sort it out."

Low blood pressure and high blood pressure often occur in elderly people, but Ye Qiu found it puzzling—why was someone as young as Su Luoluo experiencing such a condition?

He couldn’t quite figure it out.

Arriving at Song Zhi’s family quarters, Professor Song and his wife, along with Song Jing, were present inside.

As Ye Qiu followed Song Ying inside, the family’s housekeeper had just finished preparing a sumptuous lunch.

Ye Qiu greeted the Song family briefly before sitting down to eat with them. The food here was unquestionably better than the cafeteria meals.

Ye Qiu ate to his heart’s content, rested for ten minutes, and then headed to Song Jing’s room to treat her seafood allergy symptoms.

Once the treatment was completed, Ye Qiu didn’t linger further. As Song Ying accompanied him out, she asked, "Have you finished practicing for your performance? You’ll be on stage tomorrow night!"

"No need for practice!"

Ye Qiu replied.

To him, this was child’s play. But Song Ying didn’t understand.

After leaving with Song Ying, Ye Qiu headed solo back to the training field.

By the time he returned, most of the students had already gathered. Once Instructor Wu convened the group, they continued to practice the entire military boxing routine throughout the afternoon.

At around six in the evening, Wu Shuang announced the end of practice for the day, and Ye Qiu returned to the male dormitory with Luo Yang and others.

Back at the dorm, Ye Qiu showered before heading to the first cafeteria for dinner, where he spotted Liu Lingxiu and Chen Meng approaching.

By this point, news of Su Luoluo’s sudden collapse that morning had naturally spread among Liu Lingxiu and the other students. Ultimately, it had been Ye Qiu who intervened to help Su Luoluo.

Later, an ambulance arrived, and Su Luoluo, accompanied by a female classmate, was taken to Jinling University’s affiliated hospital for examination and treatment.

After dinner, Ye Qiu didn’t immediately return to the Peach Blossom Source Villa Community. Instead, he went for a stroll along Xuanwu Lake with Liu Lingxiu.

"Ye Qiu, why did Su Luoluo suddenly faint this morning?"

"Low blood pressure—her constitution is clearly weak, but it has nothing to do with me."

Liu Lingxiu also found it peculiar. Though Su Luoluo had always seemed frail, it wasn’t to the point of frequent illness. She recalled the time when Su Luoluo was shot and fell into the lake at Pearl Spring, and it had been Ye Qiu who rescued her that day.

Liu Lingxiu studied Ye Qiu’s expression, noticing he genuinely didn’t seem inclined to concern himself with Su Luoluo anymore.

The two of them walked casually by the lake, chatting until around nine in the evening when Ye Qiu declared, "Once military training ends, I’ll head to the East Sea for my visa, then fly to France."

This plan was something Liu Lingxiu had known for a while.

However, though Liu Lingxiu wanted to join him, it wasn’t feasible—she still had classes to attend.

Compared to Ye Qiu, her situation was different. If she skipped classes right after starting school, keeping up academically would be tough. She could only hope to travel later when there was a chance.

Around ten o’clock, Ye Qiu escorted Liu Lingxiu back to the dormitory entrance before heading toward his Mercedes AMG.

He got into the car and drove back to the Peach Blossom Source Villa Community. Once upstairs on the second floor, he took a shower before continuing his cultivation of the Primordial Five Emperors Technique.

The next morning, Ye Qiu awoke bright and early, knowing that today marked the final military training assessment. He couldn’t afford to be late like before.

Rushing through his wash-up routine without stopping for breakfast, Ye Qiu quickly drove to Jin University Campus.
