Chapter 336: Chapter 336: Passing through a Multitude of Flowers, A Single Leaf Doesn’t Stick.

He Lan laughed so hard she almost fell over, completely enjoying the commotion and not afraid to escalate things further as she clapped vigorously: "Exactly, lying for a lifetime means you’ll never be a man."

He Zheng snorted lightly: "Fine, lying for a lifetime means you’ll never be a man."

As soon as he said this, everyone finally believed his words.

Qiao Rui thought that Si Ran’s previous hesitation might also have been about this—she worried that He Zheng might be a player.

But now it seemed, maybe he really wasn’t that kind of guy.

Si Ran’s inner world, however, was still shaken.

She looked at He Zheng with a complex expression. When her gaze met his deep eyes, she quickly looked away.

"Let’s start the next round," Si Ran said.

"Yeah, yeah, the next round needs to start now." He Lan muttered, "I honestly didn’t expect that my brother turned out to still be a virgin. I always thought he was just barely holding it together."

He Zheng shot her a look. "It’s my turn now, right? My turn to spin the bottle?"

Qiao Rui chuckled. "Please, go ahead."

He Zheng grabbed the bottle and gave it a spin. The bottle’s neck pointed directly at Si Ran.

At this, He Zheng’s excitement was beyond words.

Meanwhile, He Lan was a little disappointed. She had wanted it to land on her brother but instead it stopped at Si Ran.

Qiao Rui smiled faintly, watching the whole scene with a leisurely attitude.

He Zheng’s gaze met Qiao Rui’s, both of them with similar faint teasing smiles. "Looks like it’s my turn to ask now?" he said.

"Yes, Mr. He, it’s your turn," Qiao Rui said.

"Ask Si Ran if her first kiss is still intact," He Lan egged on from the side.

Si Ran’s face turned red, and she instinctively looked over at He Zheng.

He Zheng said, "That’s something I don’t need to ask."

"Why don’t you need to ask?" He Lan asked, puzzled.

"I’m the winner, right? I should have the right to ask whatever I want," He Zheng countered.

"Yes, it’s your right. Feel free," Qiao Rui also turned to look at Si Ran.

Si Ran’s heart tightened involuntarily.

She wasn’t sure what He Zheng would ask; all she knew was that when her eyes met his smiling gaze, her heart started pounding uncontrollably.

He Zheng’s lips curved into a smile, one that was wickedly charming. To Si Ran, this smile seemed rather dangerous.

Her hand clenched into a fist without her realizing.

He Zheng noticed and chuckled. "Don’t be so nervous, relax. I’ll ask you an easy question."

But Si Ran didn’t believe that he’d ask anything simple; she had the sense that her earlier egging him on might provoke him into taking revenge.

So Si Ran said, "Go ahead and ask."

Life or death, just hurry up—anything but dragging it out like this.

"What do you think of me?" He Zheng motioned toward himself, leaning forward and moving closer to Si Ran.

Si Ran instinctively leaned back.

He Lan exclaimed, "What kind of question is that?"

Qiao Rui smiled faintly but said nothing.

Si Ran hadn’t expected him to ask something like this. Clearly, he wasn’t trying to genuinely put her on the spot.

But this question, seemingly simple, was troublesome for Si Ran.

It required her to speak the truth, to share her genuine feelings.

After careful thought, Si Ran realized this was actually a very difficult question to answer.

"Hurry up," He Zheng urged.

Si Ran frowned and said, "Mr. He, you’re... just average in my eyes."

He Zheng froze.

He Lan burst out laughing. "Hahaha, I bet my brother thought he was perfect in everyone’s eyes, especially in Si Ran’s—like some kind of god. But he didn’t expect to get shot down."

Just average.

Even Qiao Rui couldn’t hold back her laughter and turned her head to look out the car window.

He Zheng was truly speechless, though somehow it felt like this outcome wasn’t entirely unexpected.

If he had been perfect in her eyes, perhaps she wouldn’t have rejected him.

He Zheng looked at Si Ran with a complex expression and sighed, "What you said isn’t wrong, but I’m still a little disappointed—to think I’m just average in your eyes."

Si Ran pressed her lips together but said nothing.

"Be more specific," He Lan pressed on. "Si Ran, tell us exactly how he’s just average."

Si Ran said, "That should be the next question."

"Next round," Qiao Rui said, grabbing the bottle. "Let’s spin for the next round."

"Quick, quick!" He Lan was excited again. "Make sure it points at my brother—I still have so many questions I want to ask."

Just like that, the bottle pointed at He Zheng again.

"Brother, you still have your first time, so how did you play around at the clubs before?" He Lan said excitedly. "Everyone says you’ve had so many girlfriends—are you just messing around with them?"

"You little brat, that’s two questions," He Zheng laughed and cursed. "I’ll only answer one of them."

"Then I want to know how you ’played around’ with those kinds of girls." After asking, He Lan suddenly remembered something and glanced at Qiao Rui and Si Ran. "Does this question work for you two? If not, I can change it."

Look at her, learning to respect others—she’s actually asking for feedback.

Qiao Rui couldn’t help but laugh. "I have no issue with it; how about you, Si Ran?"

"Let’s go with this question," Si Ran said readily.

"Through a sea of flowers without a single leaf sticking—that’s me," He Zheng said confidently.

He Lan scoffed, "Never thought my brother could be so shameless."

"Get lost," He Zheng said lazily, not bothering to argue with He Lan but instead turning his attention to Si Ran.

Si Ran stayed silent.

Qiao Rui smiled lightly and said, "That answer is too vague—how about explaining in detail? How do you manage to ’stay untouched’? Wasn’t it said that you change girlfriends every three months?"

"I’m serious about it—having a companion doesn’t mean you have to sleep with her, right?" He Zheng countered. "Maybe you’re all thinking about this too crudely."

"No, we wouldn’t think like that," Qiao Rui clarified. "I just find it odd—could it be that Mr. He has some kind of secret?"

He Zheng paused and looked up at her. "Sister-in-law, I respect you a lot. You smearing my character like this, you’re close to slander."

Qiao Rui laughed and shook her head. "Alright, I won’t make things difficult for you anymore—it seems you’re just a pure-hearted player."

"Let’s step off," He Zheng said. "Everyone step off and get some fresh air."

Even though the RV had a bathroom, it was still inconvenient, and after sitting for so long, stretching was much needed.

Just as He Zheng was about to grab the bottle again, the driver in the front spoke up: "President He, we’ve arrived at the rest stop. Would you like to take a break?"

"Let’s pull in," He Zheng said, glancing at the girls. "Feel free to shop—I’ll cover the bill."

"Nah, the stuff at rest stops isn’t good," He Lan said.

"Want to take a walk?" Qiao Rui glanced at Si Ran.

"Sure, ma’am," Si Ran nodded.

As soon as the car pulled into the rest stop, they noticed an RV parked ahead, followed by a few cars tailing behind.

Qiao Rui froze, recognizing the RV’s license plate, and immediately strode towards it.

It was Liu Garden’s vehicle. Seeing it followed by others, she couldn’t just ignore it.

"Sister-in-law, where are you going?" He Zheng noticed Qiao Rui heading in the opposite direction and immediately grew alert.

Qiao Rui replied to him, "There’s something wrong with that car up front—I’m going to check it out. You stay here and keep Si Ran and He Lan safe."
