THREE MONTHS LATER

TIZHERUK’S POV

General Alexander called from the airport and informed me that two private jets had landed at Sitka airport, surprising all the staff later in the afternoon. One Jet had Conri Dolf and his family while the other carried the Hemmings.

"Did they all leave Chugach? Who has been left guarding the pack?" I complained.

Haida chuckled and then informed me "They wanted to surprise you. Uncle Cadman and Aurora have remained in Chugach guarding the mountain while Lovita, Tharn, and Toten are guarding the pack. "

"That lessens my worry" I responded as Haida lay in bed resting as she was having a bout of morning sickness for the past week.

"I doubt it "Haida retorted as I walked out of the room and chose to spend the time at the beach with Meglado.

"My Lord "Meglado spoke up as I approached the spot where he was standing, staring out into the sea.

"How long have you been here?" I asked to make conversation.

"Asheral and Charry are driving me crazy. I would rather be here than inside the villa" Meglado retorted.

"What did they do?" A chuckle escaped my lips.

"The planning and the hovering. It’s driving me up the wall. They have never planned for such a ceremony and hence they keep asking so many questions that I had to run away "His shoulders rose up and down in a light laugh.

"Mmmh "I responded.

"What brought you here my Lord?" he turned to ask.

"Just discovered that Conri is bringing everyone from Chugach to Sitka" I complained and Meglado’s voice rose, and she burst out in laughter.

"My Lord, did you not invite them over right?" Delgado raised his eyebrow.

"I did but not have Chugach exposed" I pointed out.

"You are overthinking it my Lord" Meglado stated.

"I hope so" I huffed and then walked to the water, shifted, and went under the seabed for a swim.

By the time I returned to the beach, I found the family had already assembled and seated as per the planned arrangements done by Asheral and Charry.

"My Lord "General Alexander stood up just as I walked to the beach as he stood next to Meglado. My eyes darted to Conri and Lucian, Elder Zaya and Mrs. Hemming, Anisha and Zeeb, Benjamin and Luna, Everest and Levy, Commander Abram, Jerusha, Oliver, Graham and Aspen, Hunter, and Tala. They had all come to Sitka for the ceremony and my heart filled with joy as Haida laced her hand on Elder Zaya and Charry stood next to Asheral and Mrs. Hemming while Kaito stood with Yari.

"Bering, close your mouth "Elder Zaya teased, and I rushed to her and embraced her as she burst out in laughter. I stepped aside and pressed a light kiss on Mrs. Hemming’s cheek, and she patted my head in affection.

"Thank you "I responded and added "Welcome to Sitka" I moved to embrace Conri and Lucian and what followed thereafter were greetings around us as we all caught up with everyone. Haida picked up a call and then she screamed over the phone and rushed back to the villa. Twenty minutes later, she walked back to the ceremony with Lobo, Sayuri, Zineb, Isamu, Kyeito, Simon, Seth, and Aunty Sasha.

"No way "Elder Zaya stood up in happiness.

"Surprise "Haida spoke up. " I invited them over. "

"Where are the babies? "Elder Zaya’s voice rose in happiness. " I want to see them"

"Inside with the maids, "Haida chuckled.

"Welcome "I walked over and embraced Isamu and Lobo as Zineb threw herself on me and Sayuri burst out in laughter.

Aunty Sasha rushed over to Lucian and yelled "Congratulations. Where are the babies?"

"They remained behind in Chugach. Let us fly back together so that you can get to see them, "Lucian responded.

"That is a great idea "Kyeito nodded.

"It’s so good to see you all "I repeated, and everyone burst into heart laughter as we bonded and checked on each other.

An hour later we all stood by the beach, with all the flowers that had been prepared by Charry and Asheral for the ceremony just an hour before dusk.

"Mother Sea, we thank you for the gift of life "Asheral began chanting. "Your love has been warm and clear as the waves beckon gently, listening to what our worn hearts have to say. Giving us life, you, and wiping away our fears in her frothy waves, smoothing and softening your heart painlessly.

Today we Honor Hnoss the goddess and the Freki wolf, wildly generous, she nourishes her young from seahorses and has been our companion to all sea creatures. Nourishing our Serpent Sea god’s pearl nest and units out in one word–love!"

"Thank you, Mother Sea," We all bowed and everyone on the beach followed suit.

"Goddess Hnoss, I, Meglado, Freyja’s immortal spear, and your guardian spear, in Honor of your life that you so lived to the fullest. Your ashes scattered in Mother Sea; we Honor you today." Meglado’s voice boomed.

"We Honor you Goddess Hnoss’ We bowed and then released all the flowers to the sea.

In a minute, the whole beachfront was filled with flowers that floated on the sea and then the waves rose and a blue magic ray filled it as we watched in awe.

"Serpent Sea god" The female voice rose from the water. "You brought me visitors "

I stepped forward and bowed "Mother Sea, we are here to honor you and give thanks to Goddess Hnoss. She blessed us with a Vulcan Bond that has borne this large family. My mate comes from her love for the sea, and we can only Honor her."

"That is true. Goddess Hnoss has remains lying in the sea. Out of her love, the seahorse breed was borne. I see the immortal spear is with you and even the King of wolves" Mother Sea’s voice rose.

"Mother sea "Conri stepped forward and pulled Lucian with him.

"Dolf and Freki "We heard another voice rise from the water.

Meglado went down on his knees and bowed "Goddess Hnoss" and everyone around us gasped in shock, and we followed suit and went down on our knees.

"Immortal spear, you have done well. Watching over the lineage and the sea god’s family. Well done" Her voice rose. "When I left this world, I never expected that the Vulcan bond would create such a large family of shifters. I can sense the presence of the Alpha wolves, Serpent Shifters, Hybrid shifters, Vampire shifters, and even Dark serpent shifters.

"Yes, Goddess Hnoss," Delgado responded.

"I felt the love and Honor that was given this afternoon plus the acknowledgment of Mother Sea. Bering, Dolf, and Freki, your children will be the inheritors of the Vulcan bond. I now understand what Mother wanted and I can rest in the seabed in peace" Hnoss’s voice responded.

"Thank you, Goddess Hnoss," We all piped.

"Bering, for today’s ceremony, the sea will extend your life by an additional one hundred years. As your family grows you have healed each other and relied on love as the bond that unites you all. Each one of you today has touched my heart and I will protect you if you ever come to the sea" Mother Sea’s voice boomed.

"Thank you, Mother Sea," We all responded.

"Bering, a century later, had the same ceremony held here in Sitka. I will be waiting to see how the family will have grown" There was humor in Mother Sea’s voice.

"As you command Mother Sea" I responded and then the waves subsided, and calm resumed in the sea.

"Wow"

"Amazing"

"Such a blessing"

"I am honored to be here today "

These were the responses from all the family as we stood up and then the sunset. The view was amazing as we remained on the beach until dusk set. We got back on the arranged chairs and tables as Haida, Charry, and Asheral served all the guests for an early dinner. The beach was abuzz as we made merry with the serene view and the moon that rose.

Conri walked over and we stood at a distance.

"Thank you for coming," I spoke up.

"You keep saying that "Conri teased.

"Today was a good day. Look at how large our family is and that makes me feel that we have a long way to go and will remain together in peace. I know that we have many trials and tribulations that await us and our family, but we must remain steadfast and hold the family together.

"Mhhh" Conri nodded.

"Are you back to saying so little and keeping everything bottled up?" I teased him.

"I am reeling in happiness. I just have a different way of showing it. I never expected to have such a large family and even to be blessed by the spirit of Goddess Hnoss and Mother Sea. What more can I ask for?"

"Nothing brother. We shall only live our lives and be happy" I laced my arm around his shoulder as we smiled at each other and turned to stare at the beautiful view of the sea.
