Spending the night with Aurora was not in my wildest dreams. I had resigned to spending my lifeguarding Mount Chugach and being loyal to the mountain God. I thanked the moon god and was happy that fate had chosen to give me Aurora as my mate. The years I had spent in Chugach Mountain paid off. I had been hurt when Mrs. Freki passed away and Chugach prison was the best place to hide and recuperate. That is how the mountain god found me and even showed me the true powers of the Tizheruk. He had already foreseen that Conri Dolf would be the Alpha and change the Golden Shifter pack. But to find out that Conri was Lucian Freki’s mate was the happiest news I had gotten from the guards in Chugach prison.

Everything that happened since I got off the mountain and gave Lucian his mother’s powers back was destined. I had fulfilled my mission and gone back to Chugach prison to guard the home of the mountain god. The family had grown and Commander Abram’s Battalion joined in. To have a family in the Golden Shifter pack made everything worthwhile.

I sat on the balcony of Aurora’s house and stared at the night sky and the ocean waves as the breeze hit my face. I had missed the view since I had spent time recuperating after handing over Lucian his mother’s power.

" I can tell you missed this view "Aurora’s voice reached my ears as she walked to the balcony and placed herself on my lap. Her beautiful hair flew behind her and she seemed so relaxed and carefree.

" I had," I nodded. " Even the scent of the ocean called to me. "

" You are always a sentimental fool, " Aurora chuckled.

"I see nothing wrong with being sentimental" I rubbed her back and she leaned on my shoulder as she crossed her legs and got comfortable in my arms.

" I have a question for you," Aurora said.

" What is it?" I responded.

" How do you plan on getting the blood scroll out of Judy ?" I asked.

Aurora sat up and asked, " How did you know ?"

" I invited you to the mountain for a reason " I smirked.

" You sneaky old fool. I knew it. " Her eyes glared at me.

" I could only trust you to find out what Judy was up to. I know you think I was fooled but I had not found her weakness hence I decided to get you and Tala to be a third eye. This would have given you room to investigate and even unmask her. She is after all a slithering snake. " I responded.

" Fine. Your explanation makes sense. " Aurora nodded. " It is easy to get the blood scroll out of her. But you have to carry it in your body until we get to Lucian. We will have only forty-eight hours or else you will die"

"Okay. Let’s make calls and have the Battalion guard the mountain starting tomorrow. This will give ample time to travel and get to Lucian at Attu Island. " I stated and Aurora stood up and made way for me to make the calls. By the time I was done, it was close to the wee hours of the morning.

" Let us watch the sunset first, sleep for two hours, and head to Chugach prison. " Aurora whispered as I pulled her into an embrace and we stood staring at the beautiful sea until the sun rose. We settled in bed and two hours later we arrived at Chugach prison. We found Commander Abram, Jerusha, Graham, Oliver, and Aspen had already arrived in the office and were waiting for us.

" You are mated ?" Commander Abram was the first one to speak.

" Yes, " Aurora responded. " Get over it. I need you to bring Judy here and hold her down for me. "

" On it " Oliver and Jerusha responded and then left with Commander Abram into the jail cell. Two minutes later, they arrived with her and her eyes widened when she spotted Aurora.

" Hold her down," Aurora commanded. "I need her to be immobile for a minute or two."

Commander Abram and Aspen held her down and then we moved to stand next to her as Aurora pulled the blood scroll magic from her and then pushed into my body. I felt the force of the scroll’s magic and even my body felt overpowered, then I felt two hands grab me and realize that Jerusha and Oliver had rushed to hold me steady.

" Blood scroll " Cadman my wolf rose.

" I am honored to be in your body. I was asleep when Judy’s wolf attempted to wake me up a few years back. There was a force of black magic that surrounded her and I felt the evil of the black serpent infused in it. I have been hiding and protecting myself all this time. It’s an honor to be hosted in the body of the wolf blessed by the mountain god" The blood scroll voice spoke in my mind.

"The honor is mine. You will join the body of the Freki who is the rightful owner of the scroll" I responded and then the blood scroll fused in my wolf.

After a minute, Aurora declared that it was done, and then Judy screamed and cursed at me.

" Bitch" She spat down. " Do you think he would love an old woman like you? You are a good-for-nothing witch.

" Yes, I am. I wonder what you will use to threaten us now" Aurora chuckled.

" But we don’t have time for you right now as you are not important to the Golden shifter pack. The car is waiting to take us to the airport. Watch her closely and if she gives you any trouble just kill her " Aurora declared as she held my hand and we left Chugach prison.

Commander Abram had provided us with a jet and the flight to Attu Island was eight hours long when we arrived, Conri had already arranged for a driver to pick us up and drive us to the large villa by the beach. Conri received us in the foyer as we walked into the beautiful house. Lucian was pacing up and down in the living room and when he spotted us he pulled his shirt to cover the bump that was growing.

" Wow" Aurora could not help it and she rushed over to him and hugged him. " I am so proud of you. I am happy for you Lucian. Congratulations "

" You are making me shy, " Lucian smiled and embraced her.

" I can’t help it. " She chuckled as she stepped back to admire him. " Alpha Conri you are blessed.

" I am" Conri nodded as I walked over to hug Lucian and then he added " You are mated. "

Luicna gasped as his eyes darted between us and I nodded. " Yes. I am mated to Aurora. "

" What? "Lucian’s eyes widened with excitement.

" Mmh and she was acknowledged by the mountain god" I responded with pride.

" Congratulations to both of you " Conri spoke up and then Lucian moved to his side and we all settled in the living room.

" We don’t have much time Alpha Conri " Aurora dove right in " We need to transfer the blood scroll to Lucian."

" How much time do we have ?" Conri asked with concern.

"Forty-eight hours. But I can feel Cadman’s body battling with the power. It’s draining him and his wolf is fighting it "

" You are too nosy " I scolded her and she only laughed.

" What do you need ?" Lucian asked.

" Alpha Conri, I need you to protect us with your power. Hold Cadman steady and ensure that his wolf does not fall asleep"

" Let us do it now," Lucian said.

" You need to lay down on the couch and the Cadman will stand next to you while Conri will guard us with his power.

Aurora started the chanting and then I felt the power of blood scroll leave my body and then moved to Lucian. My body felt weak and I felt sleepy but then I felt Conri’s powers move in my body and then my wolf rose and bowed "King of wolves". It was such a fleeting moment and then I felt the power of the mountain god heal me and then my eyes snapped open.

"It’s done " Aurora stated

Conri moved to sit next to Lucian and then pulled him into his arms. " Are you okay ?"

" Yes. I can feel Ma’s powers in the blood scroll. Even Ranbart embraced the blood scroll and Freki acknowledged its power " Lucian informed us.

" Good good," Aurora stated. " The blood scroll has found its true owner. "

" I felt the power of the mountain god in you " Conri spoke up and his eyes bore at me.

" Yes. I have the power of the mountain god in me. You are the first one to feel it" I chuckled.

" Really? I felt it last night " Aurora winked as I blushed and Lucian and Conri burst out in laughter and revelled in the happiness between us.
