Chapter 332: CRAZY JUDY

EVEREST POV

The call came two hours after Conri, Lucian, Alexander, and Tizheruk left for Tochigi. Uncle Cadman and Hunter had left for the Chugach prison accompanied by Lovita. Aurora, Tharn, and Toten went home while Tala, Levy, Commander Abraham, and Jerusha remained at the pack offices. Olive, Graham, Addison, Kieth, and Aspen went to the KODA council to stand on guard. We were all on alert and even the last words that Conri uttered made me even more anxious.

" What the fuck does the hospital want? Can they lock her up?" Levy asked.

" They are saying it’s urgent " I huffed " I better go and see what is going on"

" I will accompany you " Tala stated " I will not let that bitch bother us’ ’ And with that Tala was already out of the pack office and stood outside waiting for me to get the car. I shook my head at how impatient she was and rushed to the packing and brought the car to the entrance of the pack offices. She hopped into the car put on the seat belt hurriedly and said " Better get there fast"

I drove like a madman to the pack hospital and when we got the guards were in disarray. The minute they spotted us, their faces were filled with relief and they even rushed over to open Tala’s door. I smirked at her and she was irritated by the way the guards were in a panic.

" Calm down and tell me what happened " I heard her speak as she closed the door.

I drove to the hospital’s parking lot and once I packed the car, rushed to the hospital entrance where Tala stood waiting for me as one of her feet was thumping up and down impatiently.

" What happened ?" I asked

" Judy has gone crazy. I am told that enforcers have tried to put her down, even sedate her but she is so strong and muttering incoherently " Tala explained.

" Come on " I beckoned her and we walked to the hospital wing that Judy was in. Large screams could be heard as we approached and the hairs at the back of my neck rose. Gold my wolf stirred and he growled in anger.

" What is it? " I pushed the words through as I stopped short and pushed my power through. Tala raised an eyebrow and I held her hand to stop her from taking another step.

" The wolf is in pain. The mating bond between her and her mate is broken. She can’t find him" Gold responded.

" Shit" I cursed and turned to Tala and said, " It seems Judy is Edins Abyssal’s mate."

" How do I know ?" Tala’s brows furrowed.

" Gold sensed her anguish from her screams. She is crying out for her mate. She can’t trace him or find the ming link. It fits the description of the mate that Conri told us will come for Edins. I am surprised that they are mated. How much information did they hide from us? " I whispered in shock.

" Just beneath our noses" Tala cursed.

" Let us first see the state she is in ’’ I suggested and Tala nodded. We walked to the ward that Judy was in and when we got in, she was screaming and yelling. The chains that were held had broken and the enforcers stood ready to fight.

" Calm down " Tala commanded and Judy’s crazy look shifted from them to Tala and finally they landed on me.

’ What did you do ?" She screamed.

" You either calm down or I will not take you to him" I calmly said.

Judy’s look went from Crazy and became Puppy eyes.

" What the hell? " Tala muttered.

" Good girl" I praised and instructed the guards. `` Cuff her" Judy’s eyes widened defiantly and I added " I will not go with you without you being cuddled. I don’t have time to run after you or control you. You have to behave until we get to where Edins is’’

She nodded enthusiastically and the guards cuffed her.

" Thank you, Everest, " One of the guards said.

We left the pack hospital and drove straight to the mountains and Judy sat at the back of the car with Tala. I made calls to Commander Abram, Levy, and Jerusha and they left the pack office and followed us.

" You can fool everyone but you can’t fool me. I know that you are pretending to be crazy so that you can see your mate Edins. But let me tell you, the evil that you all planned on Chugach will come to an end. Do you think that Alpha Conri will let you live? " Tala taunted her.

I could see the anger that flashed in Judy’s face and I knew that Tala was right. Judy was batshit crazy.

" You promised to take me to him, why do you have to talk so much? " Judy muttered through gritted teeth.

" Alister is dead. How many more must die for you to realize that whatever you are doing is a lost cause? " Tala smirked.

" Blind. You are all blind" Judy responded.

" Maybe, what about you ?’ " Tala turned her head and faced her.

" I accepted my fate a long time ago," She laughed.

"I wanted to see if you will still laugh when you see Edins" Tala smirked and looked out of the window. From the mirror, I saw Judy bite her lip and her eyes showed fear. I was glad that I had gone to the pack hospital with Tala. She was the right person to handle Judy.

The view of the Chugach prison gate made Judy gasp as she realized where Edins was being locked up.

" You are right. This is Chugach prison" Tala chuckled as we drove up and arrived at the entrance. We spotted another car and Commander Abram was standing by the entrance of the prison flagged by Jerusha and Levy. By the corner, Uncle Cadman was leaning on a pillar at the entrance as he looked bored while staring into the mountains. I turned off the engine and Tala got out of the car. She walked behind the car got on another passenger seat and yanked the door open" Get out " she commanded Judy.

Judy got out of the car and I watched the way Commander Abram snickered while Jerusha chuckled and said " Why is it that every time I see a woman in cuffs, there is the craze of madness around her?

" Oh, you are right. She is crazy " Tala blew her hair off her forehead and huffed.

" Where is Edin’s? " Judy interjected.

" Edins?" Uncle Camdan stared at Judy and then it dawned to him that she was Edin’s mate.

" Why the hell did that crazy Abyssal do to his children?" Uncle Cadman shook his head in disbelief.

" She wants to see Edins’, we better take her to her mate" I spoke up.

" I will stay behind and guard, " Jerusha stated.

" Relax, If anyone steps foot around four kilometers into the mountain I will know. Just as I knew you were coming and even when Everest approached " Uncle Cadman smirked.

" Teach me how to do it, " Jerusha pleaded with Uncle Cadman.

" It’s in his wolf. Years of practice he bonded with the earth, trees, river, and the mountain air. He is one with it and can listen to everything from a distance" Commande Abram pointed out.

Uncle Cadman neither denied nor accepted it as we walked into the prison. The jail cells were laced with Silver rails and moonseed poison and Uncle Cadman drawled. " I know you sense and see it. Hence don’t touch the rails."

We got to the corner and Uncle Cadman stopped shooting as we all stood behind him and then he gave way to Judy. She stared at Edins and then sniffed as a reaction.

" Edins," she whispered.

" Who the fuck are you ?" Edins stared at her and demanded.

" What do you mean? Edins, it’s me, Judy " She seemed to be in a panic.

" Go away. I don’t know who you are " Edins waved his hand.

Judy stared at him stepped forward and pushed her shifter powers. Edin’s stood unaffected and raised one eyebrow.

" What is going on? " Judy whispered in bewilderment.

" Alpha Conri took away his shifter powers, " Tala boasted.

" What ?" Judy’s eyes went from clear to raging mad.

" Edin’s Abyssal is human" I announced.

" Impossible" Judy staggered back.

" Blind now are we?" Tala taunted.

Judy pushed her power and the cuff snapped as she turned around to attack Tala but Uncle Cadman was faster than her as he pushed his power into her and she fell on the ground with a thud.

" Little girl, this is my stuff. I have seen worse creatures than you and you are just a child. " Uncle Cadman chuckled as he picked her up like a rag doll, opened the door of the jail cell next to Edin’s, and threw Judy on the ground. He locked it and said " Word of advice, don’t touch the walls or the window. The pain you will feel will be nothing like you have ever felt before. Stay on the bed or the chair. If you decide others, your powers will drain and you will be in a state of unconsciousness for so long till you recover. I am betting that Edin’s Pa is coming to get his precious son. And I will be waiting for him"

" You are no match for Aipaloovik" Judy growled.

" You are wrong. As long as I am in Chugach prison, no one comes close to being a match for me " Uncle Cadman’s eyes blazed as his voice boomed, the ground shook and I could have sworn the mountain walls trembled. Judy stared at Uncle Cadman before he climbed on the bed, turned her back on us, placed her head on the pillow and the only sounds that came from her mouth were mutters and curses.
