" Hard but not impossible, " Yari said. " Aipaloovik can be defeated and he needs to be taken down in surprise and pray that he is not provoked or allowed to release all the evil he has been harnessing over the years. "

" So he needed a host and Abyssal provided him with one ?" Commander Abram asked.

" Exactly, " Yari nodded.

" We encountered him in the northern sea once, on a boat, and what was left was dead shifter bodies. The scene was something we had never experienced before. " Oliver spoke up.

" He thrives well in the sea and must have run out of shifters to attack. Hence he moved to land and found greedy shifters like him and has been building his power. " Meglado voice boomed.

" You know that we can hear you and you don’t need to shout, ’’ Yari snapped at him.

" In my spare form, my voice will always remain." Meglado retorted, earning a smile from Tizheruk.

" I will ask again, what is the plan ?" Tizheruk demanded.

"Uncle Cadman will take Edins to the Chugach prison. That is a safe battleground away from the pack homes that are within the mountain range. I am betting that John Isla’s mate is on his way. Hence we shall get more clues on the whereabouts of Aipaloovik, Izak, and Austin" I answered.

" " What about Maurice ?" Everest asked.

" Conri will take away his power and leave him at the KODA council. I want to see who will come for him. Hence we shall operate in three groups. Commander Abram and his team plus Everest and Hunter, will take the KODA council jail. Tizheruk, Lucian, Alexander and I will take Chugach mountain. Aurora, Lovita, Tala, Keith, Levy, and Addison will take the pack offices. I bet that Aipaloovik will come after Edins since he is the connection between him and Abyssal. "

"He will need a new host soon and he assumes that Edins will offer the perfect body, " Lucian smirked.

" That is why I took the shifter power from him. He is bait to draw him out " I responded. " I would not like to use this method but they have forced my hand. I will not allow them to thrive anymore. "

" That is a good plan, Conri. What about the backup plan ?" Commander Abram asked.

" The backup plan is that I will power into your mind links to all of you and keep everyone safe. We shall be in communication and report to one another on who attacks first. No more blindspots or not knowing what is happening to each other " Tizheruk stated.

" All of us? " Aurora asked, her eyes wide in awe.

" All of you. Until we are safe, then I will withdraw my power. With Meglado here it will be a piece of cake, " Tizheruk smiled.

" Are you sure?" I stepped towards Tizheruk " I don’t want your powers to be exhausted.

" Don’t worry. He will be fine" Adora’s loud voice could be heard.

" There is this feeling of danger coming. I can’t explain it. I can sense if someone is about to attack. In two days they will have reached Chugach " Tharn spoke up.

" We don’t have time then. Conri we need to get to Tochigi" Tizheruk announced.

" Why?" I demanded.

" I need to retrieve my tail fin scale that is in the riverbed of the sea in Tochigi, ’’ Tizheruk announced.

" It’s a long flight," I whispered.

" It’s inevitable. You have to be there with me" Tizheruk insisted.

" That is fine. Lucian and I will accompany you and Alexander. " I nodded. ’’ In the meantime, have the preparations ready for the three locations. I will be back before they arrive. And if they arrive early, we shall make do until we get to Chugach prison."

" Yes, Alpha Conri " They all responded.

I watched as Alexander and Tizheruk summoned Yari and Meglado back to their bodies.

" I will never get used to that, " Addison pointed at Alexander and everyone in the room nodded.

" Aurora, you will come with me to the KODA council to visit Maurice Isla. You too Tizheruk" I pointed out.

" That’s so fine. Let us not waste time " He nodded.

" What about my grandpa?" Tharn asked.

" I will take care of him. ’’ Uncle Cadman responded. " But I will need your help, Hunter and Everest. We have to lock him up. I am sorry Tharn"

" I don’t want to be dragged down by the old shifters’ mistakes. I am not part of the greed or decisions they make. " Tharn’s voice was laced with sadness.

" We understand," Toten interjected.

" Correct, " Lovita added.

" Keep the pack safe. We shall be back before forty-eight hours. Hunter, Lovita, Everest, and Commander Abraham you are in charge. " I instructed.

" Yes, Alpha Conri " They all responded but I could see the worry in Commander Abraham’s face.

" I will call you before we board the jet" Lucian assured him and he nodded as we left the boardroom and the pack offices with Aurora, Lucian, Tizheruk, and Alexander as the drivers drove us to the KODA council hall.

The place was filled with enforcer guards who were patrolling and they all stood still as they saw the cars approaching. Eyes widened they bowed in greeting as we walked into the office and went straight to the jail cell.

Maurice was standing by the window as he stared up in the sky.

" You are not dead " Tizheruk spoke up and Maurice turned around to see who was the one that addressed him. His eyes widened and he took a step back and then rubbed his eyes as if he was seeing a ghost. His eyes moved from Tizheruk and they landed on Alexander and the intake of his breath told us he had recognized them as serpent shifters.

" He is not dead. I spared him " I snickered.

" He is a dark serpent " Alexander stared at Maurice and then added " He was born a hybrid but his serpent was weak. His mother gave up his life for him and he has the power of the dark serpent that belongs to his mother. But I wonder if he deserves it as it

seems he has been abusing the gift his mother left him. "

" Dark serpent shifters are gifts from the sea gods. I am surprised that they turned evil and yet they are the guardians of the spears for the sea gods. Tell me, why should I spare your life ?" Tizheruk demanded.

" Who are you to demand that ?" Maurice snickered

Tizheruk threw his power at Maurice and we watched as his knees gave way and he landed on the ground. " My Lord, allow me to release Yari and finish him off " Alexander spoke up.

" Not yet " Tizheruk stated and then turned to me and said " The floor is yours. "

" Aurora, do you think you can get me the memories of this bastard?" I asked.

Aurora stepped forward and in seconds pushed her magic into Maurice. He resisted at first and then his body froze as blue magic Aura hovered over his head. The images formed became clear as we watched Maurice embracing John. They moved in unison and then Izak Dolf appeared. This time he was awake and the color of his eyes was green but there was black smoke lining his iris. Scales were on his face and he looked like a serpent that shifted in half form. In seconds Austin Carter appeared and much to my surprise his face was deformed. They all looked at someone who was approaching and then the black-cloaked man stood before them beside him was Edin’s Abyssal and Judy the enforcer. Aipaloovik was covered in a cloak and then he turned and beckoned them to follow him. They all walked into the sea and disappeared underwater. The magic was broken and Maurice fell to the ground unconscious.

" So their secret hideout is under the sea? No wonder it was hard to trace them on land. They must have an underground cave beneath the sea " Tizheruk growled.

" They have been hiding but we shall draw them out. I sent John Isla out of Chugach and the enforcers left him by the sea rocks. He will wake and then go and report to Aipaloovik on what happened. I hope mentioning Edin will stir up emotions and he will bring himself to Chugach. As for how we need to get Judy from the hospital and take her to Chugach prison with Edins" I responded.

" Are you okay? " Alexander asked Aurora as she rubbed her temples and looked drained from using too much power.

" I will be okay in a minute or two. " She nodded.

" Come one, we need to leave Chugach, " Tizheruk insisted.

" Yes. we dont have much time before they attack and the pack will not survive if we will not have returned." I responded.

" I already made calls ahead. The Jet is ready and we shall land directly at the airport in Tochigi. Lobo and Isamu are expecting us" Lucian announced as we walked out of the KODA council jail and then the building itself.

" Great. Once I get the tailfin, we shall return to Chugach through the water. That is the fastest way" Tizheruk stated.

" Have a safe trip " Aurora bid us farewell as we boarded the cars for the airport.
