CONRI DOLF POV

" Calm down Conri," Lucian placed himself in my arms.

The door of the pack office opened and Jerusha, Oliver, and Graham walked in. They looked around the room and their eyes landed on me.

" Calm down or the whole office will cave in " Oliver pointed out

" Where are the guards? " Hunter stepped forward.

" Locked in the KODA council jail" Jerusha stated.

" Bring that bastard that you captured here " I commanded.

" Yes Alpha Conri " Hunter responded and walked out of the room.

Five minutes later he arrived with a man who was the spitting image of Maurice Isla and there was a scar on his face. He looked shocked and stared at everyone in the room and when his eyes landed on Keith and Levy he staggered back.

" I can see you recognize your nephews," Hunter snickered.

" We are not related, " Levy answered.

" Why the fuck did you bring me here " He growled.

" Lower your voice, this is not your playground " Conri growled at him.

" He is not a serpent shifter but a wolf. " Aurora noted.

" So what ?" He snickered.

" Your brother killed Alistar " Lucian announced and his eyes widened in shock.

" His name is John Isla, " Keith said. " One was born a serpent shifter and the other a wolf."

" You better shut up. You all betrayed your father and he died a cruel death. Now you pretend to care about family" He pointed at Levy and Keith.

" Who is your family ?" Levy walked and they stood toe to toe.

"Not you " He snickered.

" I killed Maurice " Lucian stated and pretended to be bored about it as he rubbed on Conri’s chest.

" Impossible. My brother and I have a bond. I know that he is hurt but alive" John Isla growled at Lucian.

" I used my blood to subdue him. " Lucian chuckled and taunted John.

" My master will never let you off, " John retorted and stepped back from Levy.

" I already saw what you did in the mountains. Killed all those shifters for your master? Greed for shifter powers right " Aurora stood up and her eyes turned blue while her silver blue magic surrounded her and she walked towards John Isla.

" What do you want to do ?’ John raised his hand in defense.

Levy gave way for Aurora to move towards John Isla and grabbed his hand. Then the magic array hovered over her head as we watched John and Maurice walking through the woods and they laughed wholeheartedly. Then they walked to the caves and Lorraine stood with a man dressed in black and his face was covered in a mask. Around the cave, bodies lay on the hard stone. A light from the cave illuminated the center of the cave and there lay two bodies. One was a wolf and the other a human with scales. John finally realized what Aurora was doing and struggled to break free but Lovita rushed over held his other hand and pushed his power into him. We watched as the man in black walked over and then guards rushed over with a wolf and he pulled the shifter power from the wolf and then transferred it to the one on the table. And then they repeated the action with a serpent shifter. Soon Aurora’s magic was broken when John stepped back.

" What the fuck was that ?" Everest pointed at John whose knees gave way and he collapsed on the floor.

" That was a memory from John Isla " Lovita spoke up and Aurora staggered back. Tala and Addison rushed to her side as they held her and she smiled " Thank you. I just exhausted my power, nothing too big". They escorted her to sit down and rubbed her back.

" Thank you Aurora " I spoke up and felt the rage that was coming from Dolf.

" You better calm down, ’’ Lucian whispered through our mind link.

" I am calm " I responded the same way.

" You are raging and your power is off the charts. I know that my ass on your cock is keeping everyone safe from your rage " Lucian snapped.

I took a deep breath and responded " I am calm"

" Better stay that way. The pack does not need a raging Dolf " Lucian whispered.

" Alpha Conri, I suggest that we send the scouts out to hunt for these bastards " Lovita suggested.

" No way. These cannot be handled by scouts. We need to for them ourselves. Such opponents would cause a massacre of the scouts. As hybrid wolves, we move faster and have experience in war. Oliver stated.

"I agree " Lucian spoke up before I could answer and a small smile was placed on my lips. " I understand Commander, let us first go back and rest. We will meet here tomorrow and plan. Lock John Isla here at the pack office. It would be dangerous to have them both at the KODA council jail. "

" Wise decision. I have sensed John and don’t see any other powers in his body. But his wolf is weak and scared. I have no idea how and why Aurora supplied it.

Everest and Hunter hovered as the rest of the people walked out.

" I know, " Lucian whispered.

" Dolf is angry that he wants to kill anyone who has killed shifters. It’s Lucian that is keeping him at bay or else he would go into a rage. " I confessed.

" We could tell, " Everest nodded at Conri.

" Let me sleep on it. I will also reach out to Tizheruk because I know he can tell that Dolf is in a fit of rage" I responded.

" Tala and I will guard Maurice at the KODA council jail. " Hunter supplied.

" We can take turns. Left and I will join you later on" Everest nodded.

" The pack is in danger and we can’t let our shifter wolves handle such an opponent. Unless we want to end their lives" Hunter whispered in frustration.

" That is true. That is why I want us to have a meeting tomorrow." I responded to Hunter.

"Sounds good. Lucian the man on the table, with scales all over his body, is the spitting image of Izak Dolf ’’ Hunter asked and his eyes bore at me.

" What? " Lucian turned to me and I nodded.

" And I guess that the other man who is a wolf is your uncle Austin Carter. " Everest added.

" You did well to remain behind and speak up. " I pulled Lucian off my lap and stood up. " I have no idea why but since Maurice Isla was found, Dolf seems to be enraged and I have no idea what is the trigger that is causing his imbalance. "

" Do you think Maurice did something ?" Everest asked.

" I doubt it, " I responded.

" Conri, I have seen my fair share of shifter powers for the last year. Something is wrong with Dolf. You are always calm and I suspect it’s the power of the king of wolves. The deaths of the mangy wolves must be the trigger. You need to calm down and connect with Dolf so that can heal ’’ Everest firmly stated.

" What about the guards we brought back ?" Everest asked.
