" Please " Maurice Isla begged.

" Get on your fucking knees" Lucian growled.

He went on his knees and lowered his head.

" Now that is more like it " Lucian laughed as he rubbed my fur. " Calm down Alpha"

I shifted back into my human form and stood tall. Lucian’s hand was placed on my back as I stepped forward. " What is your explanation? "

" My mother married a shifter wolf. How could she do such an atrocity? Her family was furious that she went ahead and got pregnant. I was conceived and the Golden Shifter pack was brutal and unforgiving. It made him hate himself because his father was a wolf and his mother a dark serpent shifter. When she gave birth to me, she gave her life up and I was born with her powers. A rejected hybrid is bound to be in pain especially when both sides of the family are cruel. I lay low but Aria never left me. He was brutal and sent me to Chugach prison. That is how they found me and convinced me to turn against anyone who hurt me. " Maurice’s maniacal laughter rose.

" That is an excuse " I growled at him.

" Do you think the prophecy about the King of Wolves is new to them? They know everything. The only thing that will surprise them is him. The Freki wolf" He raised his head and his eyes were filled with hatred towards Lucian.

" I have a bag of surprises packed just for people like you. " Lucian snickered.

" You caused harm and even more so killed your uncle Alistar. Do you have no remorse ?" Everest demanded.

" Remorse is for the weak. " Maurice whispered. " I know what you want. But you will not get it from me. I will never tell you what you so require to know. Kill me if you want but you can’t stop what is coming to all of you. You think you are powerful but the powers you have are just child’s play"

" Come on, let us leave this piece of trash to ourselves. He is not going anywhere anytime soon. Take Judy out of the KODA council jail Hunter. You will decide the best place to send her" I commanded.

" Yes, Alpha" Hunter responded.

We walked out of the KODA council jail and walked toward the main hall. We walked in and sat down as the guards took Judy to the Chugach hospital for a check-up.

" Alpha, I suggest we search the mountains for more clues" Hunter spoke up.

" Agreed. We just need to be more vigilant and flash them out " Everest added.

" I am getting irritated by the day " Tala voiced her thoughts and we were all in agreement.

" Something does not sit right. I feel like we can’t get a break and the attacks keep coming " Addison stated.

" This is not all about the Isla family. There is more we can’t see. Are we blinded? How did we get here? ’’ Kieth growled.

Levy walked in at that moment and Everest’s eyes lit up. {" You are here Love"

" Yes. How did it go ?" He asked as he walked over to sit beside him.

" Alistar is dead. Killed by Maurice while Judy has been taken to hospital" Everest informed him.

" What about Uncle? What did he have to say ?" Levy demanded and his voice came out as a growl.

" He says there are more of him, " Everest cursed.

" I found an old picture at Pa’s home. Maurice has a twin and what is worse, there are two of them, I don’t recognize the rest " He took out the phone and handed it to Everest. Everest shook his head in shock and said:" I don’t recognize the other two"

" Give it to me," Hunter stated. Everest handed him the photo and then Hunter gasped when he took a closer look. " Austin Carter and Elder Zaya’s brother Izak Dolf"

" Did you say Maurice Isla has a twin?" Tala gawked.

" Yes. They were born twins. Twin brother is living with the serpent shifters." Levy responded.

" I only met Izak Dolf a long time ago and I have never heard about him from Godmother, ’’ I whispered. " I know that Godmother hates this topic, especially after my parent’s death. "

"Austin Carter? I would not know where he is unless we find out from Aunty Sasha. She went to Tochigi under the watchful eye of Zineb ’’ Lucian responded.

" What the fuck is wrong with all these people? " Addison cursed.

A guard rushed over and announced " Alpha Conri, there are four men who insist on seeing you"

I opened up my senses pushed my power to the door and sensed Commander Abram. We had been expecting him and he had postponed the visit due to a delay. Lucian chuckled as he felt their presence and then stood up and walked out of the Koda council.

A few minutes later, Lucian appeared with Commander Abram, Graham, Jerusha, Oliver, and lastly Aspen. Lucian was pulling Commander Abram by the hand as he grinned from ear to ear.

" Alpha Conri ’’ They all piped and their voices boomed in the room.

" Aspen" Addison stood up and rushed to him and they hugged each other happily. The Hunter stood up and Aspen walked over to him and embraced him.

I stood up and embraced each one of them and they greeted everyone around the room. The only one who looked shocked was Lovita.

" Let me introduce you, " I smiled at Commander Abram.

" He looks like Lobo. His scent is that of Lobo" Jerusha observed.

" I am Lovita Aria. Lobo is my elder brother" Lovita spoke with confidence.

" What is he doing here ?" Commander Abram demanded.

" He is family," I responded. " His mother and his family and members of the Golden Shifter pack. Lovita is the Beta of the pack. Aurora is a member of the KODA council. "

"That is true, ’’ Lucian added. " And these are members of my old battalion Commander Abram and his team Jerusha, Graham, and Oliver. " Lucian pointed at each one of them. And that is Aspen, Hunter, and Aspen’s younger brother.

" It’s a pleasure " Lovita nodded.

" Your brother is evil," Jerusha pointed out.

" He is doing better these days. He got a wife and mate and even made up with Conri and Lucian" Lovita responded defensively.

" I know. I am just teasing you. Lucian already informed us" Jerusha smiled.

" So what did we miss, you all look troubled, " Oliver asked.

" You are all hybrid shifters, " Lovita observed.

" Yes, " Graham nodded.

" Let us bring Commander Abram to speed" Lucian stated and started to narrate what had happened in the previous days and today.

Jerusha was so deep in thought and Lucian banged the table pointed at him and said " Spit it out"

" There is a mission that the Commander sent me in the deep sea near Russia. There was an old village that had serpent shiters. It was rumored they terrorized the waters and made shifters vacate the waters. I remember Oliver and I searched the mountains nearby and there was a pearl farm hidden deep within. We encountered a master, who remained hidden but we felt his power from the edge of the sea. We completed the mission we were assigned and chose not to dig deeper and leave the village. " Jerusha stated.

" The first time we met Tizheruk, his scent was close to the people we met at the village. " Oliver added.

" Since we are going hunting, how about we get them to go with us? " Everest asked.

" That would be a good idea" Hunter nodded " We shall be able to cover a large distance.

" Great. We can plan for the hunt tomorrow. " Oliver nodded.

" Do you have anything to explain to me ?" Hunter asked Commander Abram.

" Brother " Aspen interjected.

" Keep your mouth shut" Hunter seethed.

" This is a family affair. ’’ Addison spoke up ’’ We shall discuss this later. "

" I disagree. Everyone here is family" Hunter snapped.

" You are such a bully Hunter " Tala chuckled.

" Aspen is our mate, ’ Commander Abraham stated. " We discovered it when we were in Canada. Though we left, Aspen was the bold one and he came after us. Our lives are always in danger and we did not want to endanger his life. "

" What the fuck? " Hunter growled and Lucian burst out laughing.

" Do you know the power of Aspen’s wolf?" Jerusha raised his eyebrow at Hunter.

" He is a baby " Hunter stated and everyone’s eyes widened while Aspen groaned and Addison chuckled.

" There is nothing about Aspen that can be described as a baby" Oliver winked at Aspen and he blushed.

" I am going blind " Hunter closed his eyes in embarrassment and everyone in the room was holding back laughter while Commander Abram looked directly at Aspen.

" So what is his shifter power? I am curious, " Addison asked.

" Met too," Tala nodded.

" Healing" The four of them responded in such a confident voice and Aspen grinned like a fool.

" What?" Addison squealed.

" Our mate is a born healer. He is perfect for us." Commander Abram spoke up and Hunter’s head hit the table in frustration.
