LUCIAN’S POV

I dragged Conri to the dressing room that was in the master bedroom and he laughed, shaking his head in disbelief. There were so many suits in the hanger rack the salesperson had placed from the Stallone suit shop.

After fitting ten suits, we settled for the gray Yves Saint Lauren. I placed them in the hangar and pushed the rack aside since the salesperson had promised to pick them up tomorrow morning. We walked back to the living room.

"It’s getting dark, hence I need to leave," Conri urged. "Thank you for lunch. "

"Please stay a little while longer" I moved closer to him and placed my hands on his chest. I watched the way he swallowed hard and looked down at me.

"I need to pass by Old Benjamin’s pub and pick a few things. "He rasped.

"Mmm," I responded, distracted by how his mouth moved.

"Lucian," He growled.

"What" I looked up at him. The man took away all my thoughts.

"I bet you can’t wait for two days," He chuckled.

"I can’t" I pushed my hand around his neck and pulled him closer. His hands wrapped around me, and I did not know how long we stood basking in each other’s warmth before Conri left.

I called Anisha and planned for the cleaning service to come in early the next day to work in the safe house.

"Lucian, your impatience is showing, "She teased.

"I want him to stay with me. Did you know he only looked at the architecture of the house and guessed that the house had a basement or safe house?" I informed Anisha.

"You are whipped, Lucian Freki" She laughed.

"I will need your help to settle him in, " I confessed.

"I got your back. I will ask Benjamin to plan how we shall get his stuff and clothes from the cabin and deliver them to the mansion. Did the salesperson bring the suits over?"

"Yes. We already fitted and settled for the ones we liked," I informed her.

"We?" Anisha teased.

"Your time is coming, lil sis. Soon it will be our turn" I laughed back at her and heard her swear.

"What do I expect the new furniture to arrive?" I inquired.

"Tomorrow morning. And I need you to go with me and get the rings," she stated.

"Shit," I cursed since I had not remembered to organize the rings.

"There can’t be a wedding without Lucian’s rings. ’’ I could feel Anisha’s smirk after she realized I had forgotten about them.

Two days later, the ballroom at the Embassy Suites at the Hilton Hotel decoration made me smile at how comical Elder Zaya was. She went all out and raised her chin with no regrets as it glowed with happiness. The ceremony was scheduled to start in the evening at seven p.m, The security outside the ballroom was so tight that it brought the hotel to a standstill.

When the ceremony was about to begin, Conri arrived and everyone’s eyes widened at how handsome he looked. Conri looked ethereal as his long hair was tied at the back and the suit fit him like a glove. He was so gorgeous he was almost hard to look at, but I could not help but take my eyes off his body. I could see how Isa and Amelia gasped when they saw him walk in. Elder Zaya stood up and teared up as she embraced him.

"You look amazing, godson," she stated, and everyone nodded. She then pulled away and beckoned me, hugged me so tight, and whispered, "Thank you, Lucian." She pressed a kiss on my cheek and the blush on my neck rose, making everyone laugh.

Anisha and Luna Elijah, Tala Elijah, Raph Isla, and all the shareholders of the Due Corporation were seated in the arranged ceremony chairs. Isla and Amelia stood at the door to welcome the guest.

"Let us get seated. The ceremony should start immediately, "Anisha announced, and we all had taken our places. The judge stood at the center while Conri and I stood facing each other dressed in gray suits and black shirts. Zeeb stood beside me while Benjamin stood by Conri.

"I gathered here for us to witness the engagement and signing of the marriage certificate between Conri Dolf and Lucian Freki. "The judge announced, and the crowd cheered up, being led by Anisha.

"Do you Conri Dolf take Lucian Freki to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The judge asked.

"I do," Conri stated.

And Elder Zaya cheered and spoke up "That’s it"

The judge proceeded.

"Do you Lucian Freki take Conri Dolf to be your lawfully wedded husband?" The judge asked.

"I do," I yelled and Conri tsk while the crowd stood up and clapped.

Once the noise died down, the Judge asked, "Where are the rings?"

Zeeb handed the rings to the judge, and he announced," A ring is an unbroken circle, with ends that have been joined together, and it represents your union. It is a symbol of infinity and union. When you look at these rings on your hands, be reminded of this moment, your commitment to each other. "

We nodded in agreement.

"Conri, place the ring on Lucian’s second finger and repeat after me. "

Conri took the ring placed it on my second finger and repeated the words

" I give you this ring as a symbol of my commitment to you, Lucian Freki." His deep voice and authority made me grin from ear to ear.

I took the other ring placed it on his finger and vowed

" I give you this ring as a symbol of my commitment to you, Conri Dolf. " I spoke up.

The judge nodded and declared, "Before these witnesses, you have pledged to be joined in marriage. You have now sealed this pledge with your wedding rings. By the authority vested in me by the great state of Alaska, I now pronounce you married"

And that is how the whole crowd went crazy. Cheers and Anisha popped open the bottle of champagne while Isla and Amelia had glittered thrown all over the room. I took Conri’s hand in mine and he smiled warmly.

"Thank you everyone, "I yelled.

"You are too much, "Conri leaned down to whisper in my ears.

Laughing I mouthed "Yes husband"
