" We need to be ready. Based on Aurora’s interpretation of the visions, the wolves will attack Chugach. I think Simon is going to Lobo to get ahead. I am scared that the number of wolves might come in thousands. ’’ Uncle Cadman whispered.

" I need to see the vision, " Conri turned to me.

" Okay " I nodded and then Freki rose and Conri pushed his power into me.

We all watched as a large power ball rose and then the vision I had replayed. Aurora stood up and watched wide-eyed while Conri walked around the power ball.

" What the fuck " Uncle Cadman growled when he spotted himself covered in blood. In a minute the vision was over and I felt Dolf’s power recede and he pulled out of Freki’s mind.

" Lucian, what other scents were there?" Conri asked me.

I closed my eyes and replayed the images in my mind.

" Blood, Ashes, Cinnabar, Trees, Water and Pearls. "

"Pearls?" Aurora and I spoke at the same time.

" Uncle Cadman’s scent and there is someone else. I can’t quite catch who it is but his blood, it smells like it has Tizheruk’s blood mixed" My eyes snapped open.

" Good good. That means we can narrow it down and push the scent to Dolf. That way we can track him down easily" Conri stated.

" My bet would be Simon Mark and his family," Aurora growled.

" Until we are sure, I suggest we hold the first KODA council meeting. I will invite Tizheruk and Alexander to join us. ’’ Conri stated.

" Okay." I nodded.

" In the meantime, I need to seal the ward again. Please allow me " Aurora stated.

" I already sealed it," Conri announced.

I knew Conri well, there was no way he would let anyone near our mind link. Aurora only smiled and responded. " If you need my help, I am a phone call away"

" Thank you Aurora" I hurriedly responded as she turned to leave.

" What about me?" Uncle Cadman whispered.

" I already sealed your mind. No one can penetrate it. Moreover, the visions will only come to the holder of the powers of the shifter witches. You are safe" Aurora assured him.

"So why did my wolf jolt when Lucian was having the vision?" Uncle Cadman demanded.

" Because you were the one bearing his power and of course the Freki blood in you " Aurora pointed out. "I suggest that you move in with me and My. Old Man Cyrus is living with us hence you don’t need to worry about etiquette"

" No. I am used to living alone" Uncle Cadman vehemently refused.

" You better listen to what she says," Conri said. " All I know is that I can sense danger coming to Chugach and we need to stay together from now henceforth.

" As you command Alpha Conri" Aurora piped and it made Uncle Cadman speechless while I could only smile.

Once they left the Freki mansion, Conri made calls to the rest of the KODA council members and summoned them for a meeting the next day. We chose to stay in and we did not go to work or the construction site.

It was midday the next day when we all convened at the KODA council. Everyone arrived and was seated before we arrived. Hunter and Alexander had not yet come and Conri opted to start the meeting.

" Thank you all for coming" Conri addressed the KODA council members, Hunter and Tala, Everest and Levy, Aurora and Lovita, Benjamin and Luna and finally me. " I called this meeting on such short notice because of the urgency of the matter at hand But first I need the full details about Simon Mark"

Hunter and Tala turned to look at each other and then Tala spoke up" Simon Mark ?"

"Yes," Conri nodded.

Tala narrated all she knew about Simon Mark and then Aurora growled. " Did you know that Simon Mark has Aria blood? His mother was Aria’s lover. She gave birth to him in Texas"

" Texas?" Tala and I spoke up.

" Yes," Aurora nodded. " But he was a defective baby wolf and Lucian’s Aunty Sasha saved him.

" Fuck" Tala cursed. " I knew it. Those two are connected.

The KODA council meeting room door was opened and Tizheruk and Alexander walked in.

" Are we late Alpha Conri? " Tizheruk spoke up as he walked in with Alexander and sat on the empty chairs allocated to them.

" We just started. Thank you for coming " I nodded at him.

" You are family, no need for formalities " Alexander smiled.

" Do we need to bring him up to speed?" Lucian smirked.

" No need. Dolf let me in and I was able to listen to Conri as he spoke " Tizheruk stated.

" Wow" Tala whispered

" You always render us speechless "Luna laughed while Benjamin shook his head.

" I am wondering why you said that the man had my smell. I have seen this vision before but it was different" Tizheruk said and pushed his power into our minds.

We were all standing on the peaks of Mount Chugach at the source of the river and I realized we were in the vision through Tizheruk’s eyes. Thousands of Mangy wolves were on a rampage killing the shifter wolves, bodies flew everywhere, with the sound of broken bones and snapping of necks. He got in the water and flowed down the river in his serpent form as we listened to a large growl and my jaw dropped when I realized the wolf was Freki. Tizheruk pushed the water to wash all the blood and bodies of the dead wolves giving them a good send-off while he picked Uncle Cadman and they flowed with the river as he attacked the black wolf. The vision ended there.

" That is all" Tizheruk stated but I could tell by the way Conri stared at him, he had only shown everyone what he wanted them to see. There was more to the vision.

" What the fuck is that ?" Benjamin demanded.

" This is what is bound to happen " Aurora and Tizheruk both responded at the same time.

" Who is the black wolf ?" Everest demanded.

"No idea, " Tizheruk stated.

" Why did I get the scent of pearls would be the biggest question" I urged.

" Would it be that the person visited the pearl farm? Is that person harnessing the power of the pearls?" Alexander demanded.

"That could be it. But that is not what I am worried about. The army of the shifter wolves is my biggest worry and where they are right now" Tizheruk tapped the table.

" How will they attack and when? Who will draw them out? It has been someone who has control over them" Conri said.

" Did Simon Mark raise an army of many wolves all these years while he was hiding like a rat? Was this Lobo’s last card?" Hunter spoke up.

"It may seem so," Everest stated.

" When I was hunting for Simon, I searched every corner of Chugach and found nothing. His wolf had no scent and we came up empty." Hunter confessed.

" Anisha is the one who found him. She tracked the signals from his burner phones and I bet she can do the same and trace where Simon has been " Tala affirmed.

" I suggest we go to Texas," Alexander spoke up. " Find this Aunty Sasha and get all the intel about Simon. We are working blind and this is not good for us"

" I agree. ’’ Levy spoke up. " I volunteer to go. "

" Where he goes, I go," Everest stated.

" I will accompany you" Tizheruk announced" Alexander will go back to Sitka and hold fort.

" Take Hunter and Tala with you," Conri stated.

"And Lovita," Aurora said.

" Good. That makes a formidable team. It’s time to find out what we are up against’’ I nodded.

" In the meantime, I reached Kyeto and Kaito and sent them to Tochigi. The aim is to have our ears and eyes on the ground. Once Simon set foot in Tochigi he had a tail. " Hunter explained.

" Thank you, Hunter. That was a wise move" Conri nodded.

" What about the borders?" Luna asked. " If my guess was right from the visions, the wolves came from the North border. It would be best to check the border patrol again. "

"I will go," Benjamin volunteered.

" Take me with you," Aurora stated.

" That takes care of it, ’’ Conri nodded " We convene back here in forty-eight hours. Since you are all assigned tasks, I will remain in Chugach with Lucian and Luna Elijah. I will send out word to Elder Zaya so that the family can remain vigilant and stay close to each other."

"Yes, Alpha " They all piped including Tizheruk.

" A sea god does not have an Alpha " I muttered and everyone burst out laughing.

" I just like the sound of it in my mouth," Tizheruk stated.

" Cut the crap and let’s get moving. " I teased him as we all stood up.

" Thank you for coming on such short notice and see you soon. I do appreciate the effort and team work that you have all shown without question " Lucian thanked everyone.
