Trotting back to Isamu’s villa, I found him pacing up and down the yard. He saw Aria and his shoulders sagged in relief while Aria huffed and snickered. Isamu opened the door of the seclusion as Aria trotted into the house and headed straight to the bedroom. Shifting back to human form, I walked to the shower and got all the scent of the forest off me. In ten minutes, I was out of the room after pulling on a bathrobe and walked to the living room where Isamu stood staring out into the night.

" You look worried " I walked over and spoke nonchalantly.

" What happened? " Isamu demanded.

" Conri Dolf is in Tochigi and I guess that he never came alone. " I smirked.

" They came here? " Isamu chuckled.

" Yes. Aria scented Conri yesterday and today. Hence I went to check it out and found the scent at the top of the cliff"

" Could it be a scent from before?" Isamu wondered.

" Maybe or maybe not. But Aria is never wrong "

" Is there a way to confirm it ?"

" I can make calls in the morning to find out if they left Alaska" I nodded.

" How do you feel ?" Isamu heaved a sigh.

"I want Conri’s powers" I bore the truth to Isamu.

" I know. And if Conri is here, then Tizheruk is tagging along with him" Isamu pointed out.

" That is true," I responded. " You said you had plans on how to get Zineb?"

" I sent Sayuri to scout and find where they are hiding her," Isamu responded.

" What? You sent Sayuri?" I growled.

" Calm down. She wants to be married to me more than anything else. I told her if she even touched a hair on Zineb’s head, I would snap her neck and burn her corpse. And you underestimate your sister, Sayuri is no match for Zineb. The training I gave Zineb was enough for her to defend herself. "

"That is what baffles me. How did Zineb get kidnapped?" I whispered.

" I think there are more serpent shifters with the power of petrifications. " Isamu cursed.

" That could be true or someone else more powerful" I pointed out.

" Sure" Isamu nodded. "It’s late, take a rest and continue training with Kaka tomorrow. I will in turn send out my best scouts to search Tochigi for them."

" Thank you " I responded he walked out of the secluded villa.

" He finally trusts us, " Aria snickered.

" You know that we also don’t trust easily. He is more like us than anyone in Chugach. I love the fact that he is not afraid to take risks and get what he wants" I responded to Aria.

" I worry that he will want more than we can give," Aria announced.

" I know that he will. But we have Zineb and Tabular as our leverage" I gritted my teeth. "And I hope he never pushes me to a wall that will make me use them as tramp cards. "

" Am tired" Aria yawned and then went to sleep.

I left the living room after drinking a glass of water from the kitchen and then covered Kaka with a shawl that was folded next to the cushion seats. For the first time since I came to Tochigi, I got to bed and slept like a baby.

Early the next day, Kaka and I continued our training until Isamu interrupted us in the afternoon.

" What is it ?" Kaka asked with concern.

" Elder Kanji has gathered the Yakuza members in the new hotel in Tochigi. They are having a discussion tonight as to the next cause of action since I brought in an outsider. " Isamu growled.

" That fucking geezer is asking for it. Allow me to remove his shifter powers when we meet him tonight" I answered.

" Thank you. I thought you would not agree to go, " Isamu pointed out.

" I don’t like troublemakers. The best way to deal with them is to silence them for good " I explained without batting and eyes and Kaka burst out laughing.

" Is that you or Tabular speaking? " Kaka asked in between heaps of laughter.

" We share the same sentiments" I raised my chin defiantly.

" Be ready by seven " Isamu walked out of the secluded villa.

" I have come to realize that you and Isamu are quite similar. You speak your mind and act without hesitating. It can be both a weakness and a strength."

" I would go for strength" I smirked at Kaka.

Hours later, before we left for the event, we walked to the main villa to wait for Isamu as he was busy on call. Kaka had scolded me for my dressing and I shrugged as I just donned simple jeans and a shirt. Isamu had taken one look at me and then walked to his bedroom and came back with a crispy white suit that looked expensive.

" Change into this " He mouthed as he continued to speak on the phone.

I huffed as Kaka whispered " I told you so"

I walked to the guest bedroom and shed off my casual wear for the white suit. Kaka arrived with a new pair of shoes and placed them next to me." You need to look the part, Lobo. Or else the Yakuza will not take you seriously. Plus Isamu needs your support."

I grumbled in annoyance but complied and put on the new shoes. We walked back to the living room and found Sayuri and Isamu. Her eyes widened in fear when she spotted me but she stood her ground.

"I thought you were searching for Zineb" I dove right in.

" I found her in Chugach prison. Her scent is there and also your brothers " Zineb announced.

"Good job "Isamu smiled at her.

" How do we handle this? The prison has an old guard that is not easy to deal with. His powers are not as simple as a shifter wolf and it took me a while before I could get Zineb’s scent."

" We need to get her out of there. If possible before tomorrow night" I urged Isamu.

" I agree. " Isamu nodded and then Kata walked into the room.

" What do you want ?" Sayuri seethed at him.

" You need me if you are to succeed in getting her out of there" Kata raised his chin.

" Why would she need you ?" I turned to Isamu.

" Kata’s powers of shifting are so advanced that he can teleport in and out of places" Isamu explained. " But the risk is that he has to recharge his power after doing so"

" Don’t worry, once we get Zineb, Sayuri will take care of me" Kata winked at her.

" Forget it. I am not helping you recharge" Sayuri shook her head.

" You will work together and get Zineb home" Isamu growled at the two of them.

" Fine. I want the same deal that you gave her." Kata emphasized.

"What ?" Isamu looked surprised while Kaka burst out laughing.

" I want to be married to you " Kata raised his head defiantly. He was so serious and was not backing down from his statement that it made Kaka laugh so hard that he fell on the couch from it.

" Is there a marriage bug around ?" I asked Isamu who groaned and closed his eyes.

" You know I am the fastest and safest bet to get her out of there" Kata pressed on.

" Zineb will not be pleased," I said out loud.

" I want her home. Her safety is the top priority. She will understand" Isamu’s eyes snapped open. " Fine. Once Zineb is home, we shall have the marriage ceremony." Kata nodded and then was about to walk out of the room when Isamu added " If you both fail, I will ask Lobo to take away your shifter powers"

" Agreed" I spoke up.

They both stared at Isamu before they walked out of the villa.

" I know for a fact that they will succeed" Kaka stood up from the couch.

" That is my bet. Once Zineb is here, we shall discuss marriage then. For now, let’s go to the Fairfield Hotel. My men tell me that all the Yakuza members are present" Isamu gritted his teeth.

We drove for twenty minutes and arrived at Fairfields Tochigi. From the way the parking lot was full of cars, Isamu’s words rang true that all the Yakuza members were present. We walked into the hotel and were ushered into a large ballroom. The doors opened and when we walked in there was pin-drop silence in the room.

Aria rose and growled " Conri Dolf’

true to his words, seated next to Elder Kenji were none other than Conri Dolf and Tizheruk Bering.

" What the fuck " Kaka’s eyes widened while I felt the way Isamu knuckled cracked and then Tabular stirred and whispered " Adora "

We slowly walked over to the table and Elder Kanji stood up and said " Welcome Isamu, Lobo, and Kaka. I did not expect you to come on such short notice. "

" You never invited us, " Isamu growled.

" Yet you are here. Let me introduce you to my new friends. " Elder Kanji spoke up.

" No need to do that " Tizheruk stood up and then he loudly said, " Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Tizheruk Bering."

And with that, the whole room went into an uproar while Conri Dolf burst out laughing as his voice boomed across the ballroom.
