Chapter 206: TABULAR AND ARIA

LOBO ARIA’S POV

The buzzing in my body was heightened as I continued to meditate as per Kaka’s instructions. Excitement laced my mind as Aria roared at the power that kept sipping in our minds and blood. Tabular stretched and pushed Aria to his limit. We were exhausted day in and day out as we continued to push through.

" You need rest, " Kaka advised by the end of the week.

" No. We need to push and succeed. " I insisted

" You will not succeed if you are tired "Kaka scolded me as he stood up to leave.

" Okay fine. I will rest " I huffed as sweat laced my brow and I felt sticky from the day’s meditation.

" I prepared a healing bath for you," Kaka muttered as he closed the door.

" Damn old cranky man, " I growled.

" I heard that, " He yelled from behind the door.

I laughed as I got up from the cushion seats and headed to the bathroom. Kaka had already prepared the bath. Undressing, I lowered my body into the bathtub and soaked myself for an hour until I felt my body become soft.

Dragging myself out of the tub, I picked the robe and did it. My stomach growled as I walked to the kitchen and heated the dinner the maids had left in warmers. After the meal, I settled in bed and Aria whined from exhaustion.

" We are almost there, " Tabular said.

" I know, " I responded. " But Aria is exhausted.

" It is only natural that he is, " Tabular explained. " The best news is that you managed to push your obsession to the back of your mind and now Aria rules your heart and mind"

" Kaka helped. " I responded.

" Sayuri freed your mind. " Tabular asserted.

" Fine " I agreed as I closed my eyes and willed my body to sleep.

It was hours later when Aria awakened me and I jolted up on the bed.

" What is it ?" I demanded.

" The scent of Conri Dolf" Aria growled.

" Stop it " I scolded him.

" I am never wrong Lobo" Aria growled and then paced up and down in my mind.

" What can I say about this? I was asleep " I drawled.

" I know his scent. He is here" Aria was going crazy.

" Go back to rest. We shall deal with your scent of Conri tomorrow. Don’t forget why we are here Aria" I snapped and closed my eyes. Sleep eluded me as the words Aria whispered in my mind kept ringing over and over.

" Could it be that Conri is here in Tochigi?’ I spoke out loudly.

" You better control him. ’’ Tabular interjected. " You finally managed to control your obsession and now he is back at it again. You will have wasted three weeks of hard work. "

" I know. But Aria is one of the best wolves in terms of scent. He is never wrong. "

" If that is the case, then Adora is near. And you have not mastered the full power as yet. It would be best to master everything before facing Adora. Or else you will have failed. " Tabular snapped and then all was silent.

It was the wee hours of the morning when I finally got to sleep.

The banging of the bedroom door jolted me awake and there stood Kaka with his brows furrowed, " Why are you still sleeping?"

"I was awake for the better part of the night " I whispered groggily as I dragged myself from the bed.

" Hurry up and take a shower. Breakfast was already delivered. And today Isamy is having a party. " Kaka said excitedly.

" What time ?" I demanded.

" In the evening " Kaka spoke as he left the bedroom.

I took my time in the shower, dressed, and walked to the living room. Seated by the cushions was Elder Amaya, Sayuri’s mother. Kaka seemed uncomfortable in her presence and chose to sit by the kitchen counter.

" You are finally awake" She muttered.

" To what do I owe you the pleasure of your visit " I raised an eyebrow as I walked towards her and sat on the opposite side and poured myself the coffee that was placed on the table, together with buns, a glass of juice, and a bowl of fruits.

" You have no respect for your elders, " She snapped.

" I do. I respect Kaka over there. But since you came with evil intentions, I don’t have to respect you " I growled as I sipped my coffee and heard the way Kaka suppressed his laughter.

" You are insolent and that is why you will not win " She snickered.

" Get out if you can’t speak properly. I will not entertain you anymore " I stood up and my eyes bore down at her.

" You are no match for me " She hissed as she stood up.

" You are no match for us " Tabular’s voice radiated in the room.

She staggered back and looked at me in shock. " Impossible"

" You assumed that you could walk in here and get away with being insolent" Tabular spoke again. " You are nothing, vampire"

Her lip trembled and then she bowed at me " I sincerely apologize. I never meant to be rude. "

" Rise" Tabular spoke again and then added " You better leave now before I lose my temper "

She rushed out of the glass house and the door closed behind her.

" How did she get in ?" I demanded from Kaka.

" She came in with the maids," Kaka shrugged. " I knew you would handle her and hence I wanted to see how she would run with the tail between her legs "

" You are too much Kaka" I smirked as I sat down and had my breakfast.

Kaka moved from the kitchen counter and sat down where Elder Amaya had sat.

" How did you sleep ?" He asked with piqued interest.

" On and off " I responded in between sips of the coffee.

" Your wolf is irritated. Why is that? " Kaka raised one eyebrow.

" He seems to think that Conri Dolf is in Tochigi," I snapped.

" What? I thought you got rid of the obsession. " Kaka yelled.

’" We did. Until last night " I huffed.

" So this is him and not you ?" Kaka demanded.

I nodded as I bit into the banana that I had peeled.

" The two of you are not in agreement ?" Kaka’s face was comical as he tried to suppress his laughter.

" What is so funny Kaka?" I demanded.

" I am glad that you can pull yourself from your obsession. It’s easy to order your Wolf to comply. I am glad that we have finally arrived at this stage" Kaka said proudly.

Aria chose that moment to growl from his sleep.

" Calm down " I commanded him and he huffed at me in annoyance.

" I am never wrong " Aria responded through our mind link.

" I know. " I pretended to agree.

" I can tell that you are just trying to agree with me so that we can begin training " Aria snickered.

" Finish your breakfast and let us get on with the training. I plan on attending the party. I would not miss it for the world. " Kaka grinned at my annoyed face.

I hurriedly gobbled down the food and then cleared the table. An hour later, Kaka instructed me on the power control and I was able to control Tabular but that was after convincing Aria that we would go look for Conri tonight.

" Your wolf is a menace" Tabular huffed.

" You better take back those words " Aria growled.

" Can both of you calm down so that we can get over with the training? " I commanded both of them.

Aria finally let Tabular in and then we began the power training. Tabular pushed in and then Aria let in through. I felt my body was floating and then Kaka gasped at me and then my eyes snapped open. I looked around me and I was surrounded by a gray smoke that made my body rise from the cushion and now I was floating in the air. The glass door and windows rattled. Kaka stood up and staggered back while clapping.

" We are merged as one" Tabular spoke up and his voice sounded so much like Aria.

" You did it, " Kaka’s eyes beamed.

I slowly lowered my body and then stood up. I felt Tabular and Aria merge as one and then a low growl emitted from my chest and soon out of my mouth, so loud that Kaka closed his ears.

I heard the door of the seclusion house being opened and Isamu appeared in the doorway looking excited. He stared at me and then raised his hands excitingly and said " Well well well, what do we have here"

" Your worst nightmare " I smirked at him.

" Look in the mirror, " Isamu said as he pointed at the mirror at the corner.

I nodded and walked over to the mirror and then felt the shock hit my face. My pupils were golden and laced with gray smoke. I could swear that I grew taller and bulkier as I felt the power of Tabular race in my blood. I turned to Isamu and said " I did it "

"Congratulations Lobo Aria. You finally did it" Isamu walked over and embraced me.
