" I did," I responded calmly.

" Good. The winds of change are finally here. He is mated and so are you. Your destinies are entwined together and you need each other to overcome what is coming.

" How is it that you always know everything ?" Hunter complained.

" Because Uncle Cadman’s shifter wolf is special," Tizheruk snickered.

" You played with my emotions, " Hunter chuckled.

" An old man must tease you once in a while, " Uncle Cadman responded.

" How safe is this prison, I need Lyal and Zineb to stay here until we can get rid of Isamu and Lobo" Lucian spoke up.

" Safe enough," Tizheruk laughed. " No one can escape from him.

" You flatter me " Uncle Cadman smiled " I know what you are up against. Until you are done, I will be here guarding them.

My nose picked up on a scent of Haida and Chary and Dolf went into a panic as Tizheru stepped foward and stuttered " How the fuck did you get the Ricin poison on you?"

" One bottle slipped but we detoxified ourselves. " Chary interjected.

" You are poisoned. " I spoke up.

" What ?" Haida’s eyes widened.

" Both of you are poisoned, " Tizheruk yelled.

" Why are you yelling?’ Uncle Cadman walked over to Haida and Chary. He pushed his power into them and after a while, he said " You acted quickly and the sea water washed most of it. There is still some in your body but you have the cure here with you. " He pointed at Lucian.

" What do you mean? " I stepped forward defensively.

" Freki blood has always been a cure, " Uncle Cadman announced.

" Wow," Haida beamed and Chary burst into tears.

" No need to cry. " Uncle Cadman walked over and patted her head as she sniffed.

" You mean that Freki blood can neutralize the Ricin poison?" Tizheruk was out of breath as he spoke.

" Like I said, your destinies are intertwined. You need to fulfill the destiny and fate ." Uncle Cadman’s eyes darted from me to Lucian and then Tizheruk.

" Well, I want him all to myself " Haida’s voice was loud and filled with annoyance that made us all burst out in laughter.

" Great timing, " Hunter chuckled.

" Get off the mountain and go do what needs to be done " Uncle Cadman yelled as we got into our cars and went down the mountain. We all headed to the Freki mansion. On arrival, we found Keith Isla by the door.

" Why is he here?" Lucian was the first to ask.

" It’s a long story" Benjamin stated. " Let us all go in first, Elder Zaya is already filled with worry. "

When we got into the mansion, Anisha and Zeeb stood behind the couch that Elder Zaya, Luna, and Tala Eliana sat on. The back door opened and Levy, Everest Kaito, and Kyeito walked in.

" You are back !! " Elder Zaya stood up and placed a hand on her chest with relief as Haida rushed over and embraced her.

" I am glad you are safe, " Luna said.

Once we sat down and narrated our ordeal, they all listened keenly. Once done, I turned to Levy Isla " What is Keith Isla doing here?"

" Boris was Lobo’s spy. The old guard at Chugach prison warned us" Benjamin announced.

" He held Keith captive and we rescued him. We decided to stay together until you returned. " Everest explained further.

" Shit," Lucian cursed.

" Where is Boris?" I asked.

" I chopped off his head, " Kaito stated. " He came to the Freki mansion and wanted to attack Elder Zaya and Eliana. A man who attacked women should be left dead"

" He did what ?" I stood up and growled. I must have released Dolf’s powers without knowing it as the whole room went quiet in shock.

" Push back your powers king of wolves and mind the people around you " Tizheruk scolded me.

I rubbed my hair in frustration as I pushed Dolf back and then watched the way Godmother stood up beaming with joy.

’You just sold yourself out " I heard Lucian’s voice in our mind link.

" King of wolves?" Luna whispered. " Did I hear it right?"

" Dolf awakened and now possessed the King of Wolves powers. Combined with the Adora crystal powers, Conri Dolf is unmatched " Tizheruk pipped.

I bared my teeth at him and he only laughed.

" They are a power couple. Freki’s powers awakened and the omega genes of the Freki lineage evolved. ’’ Tizheruk continued to speak.

" You better shut up before I start on you " I growled at him.

" Freki omega genes? You mean that Lucian can have pups?" Haida gasped.

Lucian closed his eyes in frustration and his hands clenched into fists. I placed an arm around him and sent him a message " Sorry Lil pup"

" I am so happy" Godmother hiccuped. " You have both made me proud"

" You have embarrassed Lucian, " Haida scolded Tizheruk.

" This is good news, " Eliana nodded.

" I am happy for you " Luna beamed.

" Congratulations on your pregnancy " I spoke up to divert the attention from Lucian.

" Thank you Conri," Luna stated. " You need to finish this and take over the pack. I can’t run it until I give birth "

" I agree," Godmother beamed.

" We shall discuss this later. Let us all be prepared. Isamu and Lobo will attack as soon as they discover Zineb is gone"

" We are going back to Canada, ’’ Elder Zaya stated. " Eliana, Kaito. Kyoto and I are leaving for Canada tomorrow morning. "

"That is a good idea. " I nodded at Godmother.

" It will give the rest of you room to deal with those two mad people. " Godmother muttered.

Lucian stood up and said " Time to heal the two of you" He pointed at Haida and Charry.

" What do you mean? " Eliana asked.

" Follow me" Lucian never responded as Haida and Charry followed them.

" Since you have a running mouth, why don’t you explain? ’’ I stood up and pointed at Tizheruk while I left the living room and headed to the study, following Lucian’s scent. I opened the door and found Lucian explaining to Haida and Chary about Freki’s blood.

" We have no problem with this Lucian. Let us get over it. I know Bering is so worried " Haida stated.

" I am worried about you. I dont want his wrath on me " Charry whispered.

" What is being done? " I closed the door and leaned on it

" Just need to give them a drop of my blood each," Lucian smiled at me. I watched as he picked a penknife on the table, slit his arm, and then did the same for Haida and Chary. I felt Freki stir and Dolf stood on high alert. Once Lucian finalized on the exchange he instructed them " Go and lie down for an hour. "

" I feel wobbly and dizzy" Chary muttered as she pulled Haida out of the room. Thizeruk was already at the door waiting and I watched as his brows furrowed with concern but I nodded at him with reassurance and they left.

I closed the door and said " I hope we never get to do that ever" as I turned to Lucian.

" I don’t want to ever do that. ’’ Lucian seconded my statement as I watched the cut heal slowly and then he pulled the sleeve of shirt over it.

" Are you okay ?" I walked over to the office desk and leaned on it.

" Freki is a bit anxious but is fine. "

" I felt it " I chuckled and then pulled Lucian up from the office chair and pulled him in my arms`` Come on. We need the rest. It’s been a crazy week. "

" I am still reeling from how sexy you got last night " Lucian whispered

" Lil pup do you know the full moon will be in two days? I suggest we be apart on the day"

" Why? You are afraid that I will get pregnant ?" Lucian teased.

" One pregnant person amongst our family is enough. Unless we evade the danger that lurks, no pregnancy for you " I asserted.

" You are serious about this ?" Lucian asked and I could see the concern on his face.

" Did you want to get pregnant? " I asked him and our eyes clashed as we stared into each other with love.

"No. At first I never even thought of it. But every day we grow closer to each other and I could feel that you were happy about me having the omega genes. And when I accepted the full Freki lineage powers, it pushed me so much even though I was afraid. " Lucian confessed

" Why are there so many people in the mansion? " Conri muttered as I laced my hands around his neck and pressed a kiss on his lips.

" Because we have responsibilities and we have to protect our families. " He whispered " And of late you have been so forward husband, how about we sleep in the shed today"

" No " I responded as Lucian placed tiny kisses on my neck

" Why " Lucian bit me and my breath hitched.

" Godmother wants to spend time with us before she leaves. Let us go take a cold shower and then spend some time with them before they leave for Canada tomorrow. Family time is always precious" I picked Lucian up and walked out of the office.
