HUNTER’S POV

The call to Elder Zaya’s phone came when we were having a late night. One of the informants of Zaya in the Yakuza called with news.

" Unfortunately Isamu already discovered the existence of Tizheruk. " Elder Zaya announced.

" How did he find out ?" I spoke up in anger.

" When he was in Alaska, he put two and two together. Not forgetting the fact that Lobo and Zineb already saw Bering. The informant tells me that the Yakuza have discovered that Zineb carried Isamu’s blood. It seems he plans to turn her into a Hybrid. Hence the council confronted Isamu"

" Do you mean that Lobo and Zineb are in Japan?" Tala stood up.

" Yes. They arrived two days ago and they are leaving tonight for Sitka" Elder Zaya informed us.

" Does this mean that they plan to attack Bering? Sitka is the only channel that one can get in the water and it leads directly to Mount Chugach." Tala announced.

"Lobo Aria has the Tabular crystal. The council is not sure how he managed to wield the crystal" Elder Zaya added.

" That is bad news, " Eliana Due whispered. " Lobo Aria is a lethal and greedy man. Now that he has the crystal, he will be going after Conri Dolf.

" Shit " Tala cursed.

" How can we help them ?" I asked Elder Zaya.

" I have an old friend in Sitka and I will reach out to them for help. But in the meantime, call Tizheruk and warn him.

I nodded as I walked to the bedroom to retrieve my cell phone as I had left it in the charger. I sat on the bed, thinking of the best way to deliver the news. Tala walked into the room and said " Quit stalling and call him"

I huffed as I dialed Tizheruk’s phone and he answered on the third ring. " I wondered if you had forgotten about me. " He laughed.

" We have news from Japan. It seems that Isamu discovered that you are alive. The Yakuza council members are aware and they are leaving for Sitka tonight" I informed him.

" Sitka? He plans to use the canal to launch an attack on me" Tizheruk pointed out.

" How are you this calm?" I growled.

" What can I do when Isamu decides to come after me? " Tizheruk chuckled.

"Aren’t you worried ?" I demanded.

" I am. But I vowed to never let him get his way with me. I can deduce that Lobo Aria and Zineb Aria are with him. They must have given him a description of me and he guessed my presence. Don’t worry, I will call my friends in Sitka plus reach out to Kaito and Kyeito who are already in Japan to give me intel. In the meantime, just keep my family and yours safe. "

" I feel helpless. How do I assist you ?" I whispered in frustration.

" You need to keep everyone safe. Lobo Aria is not a forgiving man. He is about to find you in Canada. And when he does, there will be a blood birth. ’’ Tizheruk announced.

" I need to get to Alaska secretly. In and out. I need Conri to dissolve the power of the Tabular Crystal from my bloodstream. " I informed Tizheruk.

" Let me send the jet to get you back. We shall meet you at the airport. No need to announce your presence taking into account that Lobo is still searching for your whereabouts. "

" That is fine then. See you in a couple of hours" I disconnected the call.

"It’s too dangerous to leave, " Tala growled.

" I need my full Alpha powers back" I asserted " That is the only way I can face Lobo Aria if he ever finds us"

" The Hybrid wolves are here guarding us " Tala insisted.

" No. Lobo will come for me. The rest of you don’t matter to him " I pointed out" And when that time comes, how do I protect you? I cannot rely on the Hybrid wolves all the time. And as my mate, all I ask is for your support"

Tala nodded sadly and she rushed to embrace me as tears rolled down her cheeks.

" Why are you crying? " I whispered in hushed tones as I soothed her back.

" Because I feel like it " She snapped at me, pushed away from the embrace, and then left the room.

I closed my eyes feeling the frustration of the events happening around us before walking out of the room to inform Elder Zaya of the plans.

It was hours later when the jet landed close to nine pm at the airport and the private hangar. When I alighted from the jet, I realized it was packed in the private hangar. Conri and Tizheruk were waiting for me.

I walked over and we shook hands and Conri muttered " It was too dangerous for you to come. "

" He should be leaving in an hour, " Tizheruk pointed out.

" Let us get over this matter," Conri huffed.

We walked to the room allocated for the private hanger and once the door closed, Conri turned to me and said " For this to work you must let me into your mind link"

I nodded at him and then his eyes glowed and he pushed through my mind. In a matter of minutes, I felt Conri’s power as his wolf, and the power of the Adora neutralized the specs of crystal in my blood. For the next half an hour, My body buzzed with energy and I felt Hemming rise and growl. The Alpha power pushed through my mind as I staggered back from the force. Conri smiled and then nodded "It’s done. "

" Wow," I whispered as I pushed my wolf out and felt the full power of my body and wolf.

" You should be okay now, " Tizheruk chuckled.

" How is everyone? And Godmother? She never tells me anything" Conri complained.

" Fine. She is contacting old friends in Sitka who will give us information about what Isamu and Lobo are planning." I informed both Conri and Tizheruk.

" I fear this time, we might have a bigger battle on our hands. With Lobo having the Tabular Crystal, we have no idea what will happen" Conri growled.

"Unfortunately, Isamu has his plans as well. He wants Lucian and Tizheruk" I heaved a sigh.

" How the hell does one get so greedy and creepy ?" Conri shook his head.

" My time is up. I need to go back. Being away from my mate is not helping my temper at all. " I announced.

" Tala must be a handful, " Tizheruk teased me.

" She cried when I was leaving and refused to talk to me " I huffed in frustration.

" Go back. And ensure to take care of yourself. For the next forty-eight hours, I suggest you shift and gain your Alpha powers back. " Tizheruk advised just as I boarded the jet.

When I arrived back in Canada, I opened up my senses as we drove from Ottawa to Emerald Lake. An hour into the river, I realized that I was being followed. I asked the driver to make a detour and then he dropped me off at a mall on the highway, circled, and waited for my signal. I sat down at a small cafe and ordered coffee while I checked my surroundings to draw them out. Two men, bulky and I could tell they were enforcers. I sipped my coffee slowly and then once done, I walked to the washrooms. I spent ten minutes hiding in there and then listened in as they entered the washroom to find me.

Moving with Alpha speed, I attacked both of them, hitting them right below the back neck and rendering them unconscious. I pulled them into one of the stalls, locked it, and left the washrooms.

I used the back exit as I called the driver by phone and told him to pick me up. In a few minutes, he hurried over as I opened the door and jumped right in.

" Hunter, are you okay ?" He asked with concern as the cold wind picked up.

" Yes. Let us get out of here before they send more people over" I growled as he took off on the highway and we sped towards Emerald Lake as the night sky was filled with stars. By the time we got to the Villa, we had circled for almost an hour to ensure that we did not have a tail. The Hybrid wolves must have been on patrol as they noticed the third time we circled and they approached us as we slowed down.

" What is wrong? " One of them demanded.

" I got a tail from the airport. Lost them in a mall along the highway. But you can never be too careful. " I informed them as I alighted from the car and walked into the villa. It was already close to midnight when I walked towards the sea where our little villa by the sea was.

Tala must have sensed my presence as she came rushing out of the villa and threw herself at me.

" I missed you little one " I rubbed her hair as I picked her up and walked to the villa.

" Oh Hunter, I will not endure any more torture by being away from you " She whispered.

I growled at her and closed the door with my leg, walked over to the bedroom, and placed her on the bed.

" Guess what ?" I whispered with a grin as I undressed and stood naked in front of her.

" What ?" She responded seductively as followed suit and removed all her clothes

I lowered myself on the bed and covered my body with her. Burning my nose in the crook of her neck, I growled at her and felt her body tremble, she reciprocated by lacing her arms on my shoulders and wrapping her legs around my waist.

" Alpha " I heard her declare as she bared her neck at me.

" Mine" my teeth elongated as I latched on her neck and continued to mate with her throughout the night.
