Chapter 156: SUCCESS

ZINEB ARIA’S POV

We had been interrupted when Lobo called. And I must say it was right on time before I made a mistake. The sizzling chemistry between me and Isamu was making Zaria my wolf whimper in need. I could not sleep at night as my body grew hot with need and when I wanted to take a shower, I heard Isamu pacing up and down in the corridors and next to my bedroom door.

I opened the windows to let the night air in but it was useless. I took a shower but my body refused to cool down. I left my room, after I was sure he was gone and headed to the cold basement where I spent the night. But when I woke up, I was in my bedroom sound asleep. The damn Hybrid had carried me from the basement to the bedroom.

" How the fuck was I supposed to supress my feelings " I cursed as I made breakfast.

" I can here you all the way here " He spoke up from the living room.

Luckily Lobo called and distracted the atmosphere and now we had a task at hand.

" How will you get me to the KODA jail?" Isamu asked.

" You will find a way to follow me as I visit Lyal during the day" I explained. Then you will know where it is located and I will count the number of security details and enforcers that are placed in the jail. Easy peasy" I responded.

" So at night, I will go alone and get him out " Isamu raised an eyebrow.

"You are a Hybrid, is this hard for you ?" I retorted and he moved with speed and pushed me on the wall as his hand went around my neck.

" Repeat what you said " He threatened me as a low growl rubbled from his chest.

" Dont touch me " I seethed through myteeth as my eyes darted away.

His hands remained glued on my neck and he whispered " Oh little one, I can sense the lust and pheromones from your body. Someone might have told you are unhealth and cant bare kids, but your womb is healthy. "

" What ?" my jaw dropped.

" You are fertile and it seems that your wolf is suppressing the heat. " He let go of my neck and turned around to leave.

" You are the one who is causing it " I snapped and did not hold back.

Isamu slowly turned and then approached slowly. His eyes turned red and I watched his teeth elongate and he was on vampire mode. I refused to back down and stood my ground as I stared into his eyes.

He lowered his head and then I felt him lick the vein in my neck. The action made me tremple and I suppressed the loud moan that threatened to escape from my lips. How is it that he could affect me this way. The burn between my thighs increased as I felt my nipple harden.

" I am suprised you are standing your ground. Other females want me until they see my vampire side and they cowe in fear. Yet I can smell the sweet scent of ambrosia in your blood and between your thighs. "

" Back off. Lobo said am off limits " I growled.

" I need to feed " He responded and I had no idea why but I bared my neck to him.

He moved closer and then his fangs descended on my neck. Pure pain and ecstasy hit my body. Zaria howled as my hand fisted at the sides holding back from climbing on Isamu and returning the bite. I felt my legs shake as I shattered in am orgasm and my eyes rolled back in bliss. Isamu stiffened and then retracted his fangs and licked my neck to close the wound and then rushed out of the kitchen. My body gave way and I landed on the cold tiles, trying to recover from his attack.

After a few minutes, I picked myself up and went to take clean up. Taking another shower, I stood on the bathroom mirror and stared at my neck. There was no evidence of the bite mark on my neck and I closed my eyes revelling at how good it felt when he fed from me.

"I must have been mad " I whispered to myself and cursed.

" He is our fated mate " Zaria announced.

" No please" I shook my head and uttered " No. "

I left the bathroom after a shower and change of clothes. I found a note by the kitchen from Isamu written " Out to scout a few things" . Heaving a sigh of relief, I ate breakfast in a hurry and left the house for the pack hospital. I took Lobo’s car and drove to the market to buy fruits for Lyal. I want to see if someone was tailing me and true to my instinct I realized it was so.

I drove to the hospital parking lot and when I alighted my car, opened up my tracking senses to check who was following me. I realized that it was enforcers from the pack but I could also sense Isamu. Would it be the fact that he fed from me that I could feel his presence near ? I shook my head and walked into the hospital building and I felt a sens of sadness as I imagined what Lyal was going through.

I counted five enforcers by the time i got to the hospital wing where Lyal was.

" I want to see Lyal " I demanded and move to stand before the guard.

" I need to get authorization from the pack office" He reported and then removed his cell phone from the pocket and made the call. I walked to the seats that were allocated for the visitors outside the ward and sat down majestically. I was busy scanning the security and counting how many enforcer guards had been sent. There were four CCTV cameras and the door had a sensor access control lock. The reception area of the ward had two nurses and there was a guard at the exit door.

It took approximately five minutes for the guard to get back to me. " You are clear to enter " He announced but you must be accompanied by two enforcer guards.

I nodded as they opened the door and walked into the room. The window was open and Lyal was nowhere to be seen. The guards panicked and I sensed the presence of Isamu. He had come in and left with Lyal.

" Where the fuck is Lyal " I pretended and yelled.

The guards searched the bathroom and then started making call as they called on each other to search the hospital for Lyal.

" Can someone please tell me where my brother is ?" I screeched at the guard who was at the door.

" Please calm down as we search for him" He resported. I walked to the bed placed the fruits on the table beside it and ran my finger through my hair.

" Isamu was here" Zaria pushed the words through our mind link.

" I know" I huffed and responded the same way

" He has disappeared " The guard stated.

" How? I came to see him and you tell me he has disappeared?" I demanded and feigned anguish and despair.

An hour later of searching, they came up with nothing and much to my surprise Everest and Levy arrived at the hospital. I could see the disdain look from Levy and the way Everest brows furrowed as he stared at me.

" Do you smell that " Levy stated.

" Its in her blood " Everest responded.

" What are you talking about ?" I raised one eyebrow.

" Your blood smells different" Levy announced out loudly.

" Ofcourse it does. I got hurt when I was in Japan and got blood from the Yakuza." I lied.

Everest chuckled and said " You do lie well "

" I dont have time for this. I need to know where Lyal is? What if they kill him? What if only his head is found " I sobbed.

" We are doing the best we can. Go home and we shall contact you when we have something " Everest suggested.

" Or maybe Lobo Aria came for him " Levy stated.

" If he did, his scent would be all over the room. " I snapped.

" You never know what Lobo could be upto" Levy added

" When I came in I heard Lyal’s voice. We stood with the guard for five minutes before he gave the approval. You can ask him " I pointed at the guard at the door.

" Is that so ?" Everest turned to the guards.

" Yes sir. That is true " The guard responded in embarrassment.

" I am going home. Where it is safe "I snickered, picked the fruit basket and left the hospital knowing well that they would follow me. I got to the car and drove to the shopping mall to get food for dinner. An hour into the shopping, I left the mall and headed home. I counted for enforcers who followed me and then two cars that tailed me.

" How foolish do they think I am " I laughed as the car rolled into the parking lot and I alighted. Carrying all that I bought in the house, I made three trips to the kitchen and the car without a care or worry at all. Once done, I closed the main door and then Isamu appeared.

" Where is he ?’ I demanded.

" Asleep. I knocked him out and he has not yet regained consciousness.

I stepped foward to question Isamu but he raised his hand and responded as if reading my thoughts " I never fed from him. I dont have a habit of sinking my fangs on anyone. "

I turned around as I felt the blush rise from my neck up my cheeks at his words.

" Cut the crap" I said and tried to sidestep him.

" Call Lobo Aria, I need to get to him tonight" Isamu commanded.
