"Wow" Everest joined us on the couch and Levy followed suit.

"What am I affected by this?" Anisha demanded. "I felt your power when I looked at the live tattoo on your body. And why is there a picture of a wolf on it ?"

"That would be Dolf. Conri’s wolf "Haida supplied.

"Your mate is something else, "I huffed at Tizheruk, who only grinned like a fool.

"Is it because she has Freki blood?" Lucian asked.

"Could be it. " Tizheruk shrugged noncommittally.

"No" Tizheruk and I stood up and spoke at the same time.

"I agree," Tizheruk said to Haida, who huffed and walked to the balcony.

The buzzing of Everest’s phone was a welcoming distraction and once he answered, he turned to Lucian as he listened in and then walked over to hand him the phone. " It’s Jaxon’s mum and your Aunty, Gonzalo Carter"

Lucian took the phone, put it on speaker, and immediately snapped, "What do you want ?"

"Lucian, I need your help. Jaxton is missing. He has been gone for the past week and I don’t know his whereabouts. I tried to reach out to Lobo Aria, but wolves surrounded his home and that woman, Zineb, chased me away. I am so worried since I got a call from Japan and the man on the phone told me to tell Lobo Aria to hurry and bring back the Freki boy. I don’t know what to do"

"I am even scared to leave Lucian’s house, Lucian. I am afraid after what happened to Fridolf, "She sobbed.

"Why should I help you, Aunty? Do you know that you left me alone when Ma died?" Lucian seethed.

"I am so sorry, child. I am sorry," she wailed over the phone.

"Calm down and talk, it’s not the time for crying," Lucian snapped at her and she went all silent, and I could hear her attempt to suppress the sobs.

I turned around and everyone in the room was irritated and annoyed. Jaxton was still unconscious while Haida mouthed, "She is being honest"

I nodded at Haida and then asked Aunty Gonzalo, "Why do you think the man called you? There must be something he wants from you "

"It must be the Gold that Boris is hiding in the basement. I doubt that Lobo Aria knows that Fridolf sneaked gold into our house."

"Keep talking "Lucian encouraged her.

"There is also a safe with money and documents. I heard once Boris and Fridolf state that they had evidence that would incriminate Lobo Aria. "She narrated.

"Are you sure? "Lucian demanded and saw the piqued interest in everyone’s face.

"Yes, "She affirmed then she gasped and said "Someone is in my house"

Haida stood up and said, "I can sense her panic"

"Keep the phone on. We are headed your way, " Lucian responded in a hushed tone.

"Is there a place you can hide?" I asked.

"Yes. I can hear the sound of wolves, "she responded, and we all felt her voice tremble.

"Lobo," Tizheruk mouthed and said "We need to go Conri"

"The rest of you remain behind and call Luna for help. Let the pack enforcers join us at Boris’s residence," I commanded as we left Levy, Everest, Hiada, Zeeb, and Jaxton in the house.

Speeding from the pier, the cars sped off, rushing towards Boris. It took fifteen minutes and at that time, Aunty Gonzalo was still on the phone. When we arrived, five mangy wolves surrounded the place. They growled and snarled as we alighted from the car.

"Aunty is here, "Lucian informed her on the phone.

"Hurry up Lucian, I think he found me. I can hear footsteps above me," she whispered.

In seconds, I shifted and then attacked the first wolf that approached us. Biting its neck, I held it down, squeezing until I felt the breath leave its lungs. The other many wolves rushed over and Tizheruk shifted midair and rolled his body into one wolf, bit off its head, spat at the head out, and then landed back on his feet. The security guards that accompanied us all stared at him in shock. The mangy wolves backed off, still snarling, and Conri let go of the mangy wolf that had collapsed and lying unconscious on the ground.

"Let your Alpha wolf out, Conri. Dont show mercy to this beast," Tizheruk asserted.

Dolf growls so loud that I could feel the earth tremble. I paced next to Tizheruk, and Lucian walked over and rubbed my back. " Now that’s what I called a growl "

We heard a burst of cynical laughter as Lobo Aria walked out of the house, dragging Aunty Gonzalo by the neck. Lobo’s eyes were golden, an indication that his alpha wolf was out. His eyes darted from me to Tizheruk and the men, and then he saw me in wolf form. For a second, confusion was laced in his eyes as his eyes raked over Dolf and then the head of the mangy wolf that lay a few feet from us.

"Help me, "Aunty Gonzalo stated as she fought to breathe while Lobo squeezed her neck and the mangy wolves circled them.

"How about a trade? I want him and you get her. " Lobo pointed at Dolf

"You are dreaming, "Lucian chuckled. " He does not want you "

"You can say that again," Tizheruk smirked

"I don’t talk to lowly beings, ’ Lobo snickered at Tizheruk.

"Don’t you dare expose yourself! " I pushed the words out to Tizheruk’s mind.

But Tizheruk responded " Oh Conri, I am done hiding "

He took a step towards the Mangy wolves and they all whimpered and backed off.

" What?" Lobo looked confused at Tizheruk.

"Fridolf’s head was not so heavy. I bet yours is lighter" Tizheruk laughed sarcastically and Lobo staggered back in shock. Aunty Gonzalo’s feet gave way and Lobo threw her on the ground. In seconds, the mangy wolves descended on Aunty, biting her body, and Dolf took off, hitting the wolves as they flew in different directions. It was at that instant that Lobo took off and disappeared, followed by the mangy wolves. Our concern was for Aunty Gonzalo, and we did not even chase after Lobo. I shifted back just as the enforcers arrived and they rushed to treat Aunty Gonzalo’s wounds. Blood poured from different parts of the body that had been bitten. The ambulance followed after and took her to the hospital while Luna and Benjamin arrived twenty minutes later.

Lucian and the security guards had already loaded the gold, safe, and documents in the car.

"Is that all?" Luna asked.

"Yes, I suggest we take this to the Freki mansion, "I suggested.

"We need to sort out the documents and get the evidence against Lobo, " Lucian heaved.

"What happened to this wolf?’ Benjamin asked me as he pointed at the head of the mangy wolf lying on the ground.

I turned my eyes to Tizheruk and winked. "He happened "

Benjamin turned to stare at Tizheruk and said, "I always remind myself never to make an enemy of you "

"I am completely harmless. " Tizheruk grinned and then turned to Luna and was about to speak. Luna raised her hand at him. " Don’t even think about saying anything"

Tizheruk burst out laughing while Luna huffed at him and left.

"Why do you keep teasing her? " Benjamin asked.

"I am not. I just think she is a magnificent Alpha She wolf" Tizheruk winked at Benjamin.

"What is the real reason ?" Benjamin pressed on.

"She will be the first one amongst us to have pups," Tizheruk responded.

Benjamin’s eyes widened and then he smiled and asked, "You can see the future ?"

"He can. And I think this should be kept as a secret," Lucian interjected.

"You are in so much trouble, " I pointed at Tizheruk.

"I have not even told you what I saw about your mate,’ Tizheruk spoke to me.

"Don’t "Lucian was the first to speak as he rushed to the car.

"Keep it to yourself. Benjamin will drop you home. "I dismissed Tizheruk as I ran to the car and heard his loud laughter boom behind us as we left Boris’s residence.

I called Zeeb along the way and explained what had happened.

"I put the phone on speaker Lucian. It seems that Lobo Aria will be difficult to deal with, "Zeeb huffed.

"By the way "Anisha’s voice rose over the phone "Jaxton cannot remember anything about Tizheruk "
