Once seated, Zeeb appeared with two cans of beer and placed them on the table. " Serve yourselves "He muttered.

"Do you guys even understand privacy? Today was the day Anisha and I were on our day off. We were to spend the day in bed," He seethed as he sipped his beer.

"I am newly mated, and I handed my mate to Anisha. Do you see me complaining? " Tizheruk snapped at him, picked a can of beer, opened it, and chunked it down.

"It must have been hard for you to leave her. " Conri wiggled his brows and Lucian chuckled.

"Any word from Commander Abram?" I deflected and Zeeb choked on his beer.

"Did you say, Commander Abram? What was he doing here?" Zeeb asked.

"Oh, I forgot to inform you. Let me bring you up to speed" Lucian narrated what had transpired and Zeeb yelled, "What?"

"Lower your voice, " Lucian snapped at him.

"Does Ma know that they are behind the death of Fridolf?" Zeeb asked.

"Yes," Conri nodded. "Benjamin told her"

"I have missed a lot. It’s been crazy in the office" Zeeb rubbed his neck.

" Your sister is mated, " Lucian stated, and Zeeb was rendered speechless.

"She is in Emerald Lake with Elder Zaya, Eliana Due, and Hunter’s family," Tizheruk explained.

"Are they safe? " Zeeb swallowed hard. " No wonder Ma was so tight-lipped when I asked where she was.

"Hunter called me this morning. He informed me that Commander Abram’s security team had arrived. They are safe"

"That is a relief, "Lucian responded.

The buzzing on Zeeb’s phone interrupted our conversation. He answered the call and then yelled, "What do you mean?"

He listened in and then he stood up from the couch as he listened in to the conversation. " Ma, get your security team. I will speak to Benjamin about this "

He listened in and then nodded and disconnected the call. He huffed and sat down while he rubbed his face in frustration.

"We are waiting for you to brief us, "Conri spoke up.

"Ten mangy wolves guard Lobo Aria’s home. They arrived a day ago from the mountain. It seems he knows that he will be taken down or else he would not have those beasts guarding him"

"As expected, he is bound to be in a panic. But I think that he will use the mangy wolves to protect him when he wields the Tabular Crystal," I spoke up.

"This is not an easy task for us. "Lucian growled.

"We just need to steal the Tabular Crystal or kill him, "I spoke up.

"Jaxton and Zineb are with him. If we can only use either to lure Lobo out of the mansion before the day and get the Tabular Crystal away from him, "Lucian added.

His wolf will control the mangy wolves and trust me if they are on a killing spree, no one will be safe"

" The only option is to take Lobo Aria out for good " Conri nodded.

" No. I refuse to have the blood of Lobo Aria in your hands. " Lucian responded defensively.

" Then let us hope that Commander Abram and his team finish up early and then join us because the only option we have is to hunt Lobo Aria down and destroy the Tabular Crystal"
