TIZHERUK’S POV

"How long are you going to stalk me" I yelled as I took the path to the Freki mansion near Hunter Hemmings home. It was almost two am and I stood in waiting until Hunter showed himself and then walked towards me.

"Have you eaten?" Hunter asked as he stood anxious by the edge of the trees.

"No," I responded and my eyes bore at him.

"Elanor cooked chicken, "Hunter supplied.

I laughed at how awkward he looked, chose to get to his home, and listened to what he had to say. Hence I walked over to him and said "Lead the way."

Once we got to Hunter’s, Elanor swooned over me as she served the meals while I kept praising her efforts. Once she served the food, she excused herself and went to sleep. We ate in silence and I helped Hunter clear the table.

"What is it?" You better spit it out, "I demanded as I leaned on the kitchen counter.

"I need your help. "I spoke up. " I had hoped Tala would inform you about this, but with everything that happened in the pack office this evening, I am forced to ask for your help early. "

"I am all ears" I raised my hands.

"My family is on Sitka Island. Lobo Aria holds them hostage and they can’t leave the Island, " I confessed and I could see the anger replaced the curiosity in Tizheruk’s face.

"Why the fuck is he holding your family hostage ?"

"I know you can sense the nature of my wolf. " Hunter smiled.

"You are an Alpha, but there is something that keeps your wolf suppressed," Tizheruk stated

"That is correct. But Lobo Aria is competitive. He found a way to suppress Hemming my wolf"

"Fucking bastard "Tizheruk seethed.

"I need you to get my family out of Sitka and take them to a safe place. I will pay whatever amount of money you want." Hunter pleaded.

"I don’t fucking want your money," Tizheruk growled.

"I need your help. You are the only one powerful enough to get them out of Sitka. My mum, sister and brother," Hunter rasped.

"I have not said no. I just can’t take money from you," Tizheruk clarified.

"Oh "Hunter whispered.

"Just give me all the details and I will get them out. But on one condition"

"Anything "Hunter stated.

"Tell me, what is Lobo using to suppress your wolf? "Hunter opened his mouth to speak and then shut it again in fear. "You either tell me or I will not help you"

"Tabular Crystal" Hunter whispered.

"Impossible" I staggered back. "Impossible. "

"He found specs of the crystal years back. That is why he is hell-bent on finding the Tabular and using it to control the pack members. He initially wanted the Adora crystal and Conri Dolf. But since Lucian is mated with Conri, he will use the Tabular to kill Lucian and get Conri," Hunter narrated.

"Fuck," I cursed as I paced up and down the kitchen.

"That is why I need to protect Tala. I can only do that if my family is out of Sikta and well protected. "

"I get it. But where should I take your family? "

"Canada. Once they are out of Sitka, I will prepare a flight to Canada" Hunter said Give me your number, and I will share all the information as to where they live" Hunter removed a phone from his pocket and I turned to stare at the one that was on the table.

"You have two phones?" I chuckled

"Better safe than sorry. " He smiled as he sent all the information and the messages on my phone came in one by one.

"I will leave first thing tomorrow morning," I responded after perusing through all the messages.

"Is there anything that you need? A boat, jet?" Hunter asked.

"For your information, money is not a problem for me. I have lived for over a thousand years. I have properties across the continent and wealth. I know my way around and Sitka will be a piece of cake. Dont worry, once I get your family out, I will communicate," I said while walking out of his home. The wolves in Hunter’s compound seemed to have gotten used to my scent and did not bark as I walked out of the compound to the Freki Mansion.

"But you must come back safe" Hunter yelled

"Your emotions are giving me a whiplash," I scolded home as I disappeared into the forest. Upon my arrival at the Freki mansion, I rushed to the bunker and searched all the information about Sitka. I needed to be ready for any attacks and, of course, surprises. I made a few calls to the contact in Sitka and then made a plan with the local airstrip to have the jet ready.

The bunker door opened and Tala walked in.

"What are you doing here at this hour? " I asked.

" Do you have a minute?" She asked. "I need to ask for a favor. This a matter of life or death and you are the only one who can help me. So please listen to me for a few minutes and judge if you can assist.

" Your mate already briefed me. I will be leaving in the morning for Sitka. I came back just to make plans and contacts on how I would handle the rescue mission. His family will always remain in danger if they stay under Lobo Aria. "I announced with a smirk.

She blushed and then bit her lip before asking, "Are you helping him because of me?"

"No. Because no one deserves to be cruelly suppressed the way Hunter has been by Lobo," I muttered. "And, sooner rather than later, he will be ousted as the Alpha of the pack. We can’t have Hunter to be still suppressed by him."

Tala’s eyes teared and then she said, "I never knew that Lobo did this to him until he told me. Thank you for agreeing to help him. "

"I suggest you don’t contact Hunter for now. Just sit tight and wait for my return," I informed her as I stood up and walked to the door with her. We left the bunker and walked to the living room of the Freki mansion and it was almost four am, but both Lucian and Conri were awake.

"Aren’t you going to sleep? Why are you still awake? " I teased them.

"Cut the crap. Where are you going?" Conri demanded.

"Your wolf is so nosy. I heard what happened at the Golden Shifter pack offices. So much information, so much gossip, but what I love the most is that Luna Elijah is a She-wolf. I love that about her. She will make cute babies. "

"I am too old to have siblings. " Tala shook her head and shuddered.

"Where are you going? "Conri demanded.

"I am going on a rescue mission to Sikta Island," I responded.

"So it’s a dangerous mission?" Lucian asked.

"Yes," I nodded. "But I already made a few calls and contacts, hence I prepared early in advance."

"I asked him to do me this favor," Tala interjected. "So please understand.

"So this is about Hunter, "Conri nodded.

"We are just concerned, and you need to be careful. "Lucian nodded at me.

I laughed and said, "Are you worried about me Freki?"

He chuckled and said, "I am worried about my mate’s concerns "

"Typical," I nodded. "I will be back in a few days. Keep Godmother happy while am gone. Dont be stubborn and cause her to worry"

"Put your number here. " Conri walked over and handed me his cell phone.

"Why must you always nag?" I stated as I added his number. I turned to Tala and said,

"Brief Godmother of where am going. She deserves to know every movement that I make."

"You are too much, "Conri growled at me, but I just laughed and left the Freki mansion by the back door. I walked into the forest and when I turned around, Conri was standing on the patio. I stood in waiting by the edge of the forest and he walked over and instructed, "You must take care of yourself. I don’t want Godmother to worry."

"What about you" I raised one eyebrow.

"I can feel the worry that Dolf has. What the hell are you going to Sitka to do? How dangerous is the mission? Why would you go alone?

" Tala will inform you. Just know that I don’t have time to waste. " I turned and rushed into the forest. I was running away from the worry that I felt in Conri. He seemed concerned about me and I was not used to having him show his feelings and emotions.

I trekked for an hour and got to the river that led to the sea. Ensuring I was alone, I shifted and got into the water and swam down the stream, and in half an hour I hit the seabed. I had estimated that I would be in the water for five hours before I got to Sitka and hence I embraced the water and swam towards the west side of Alaska where Sitka was located.
