Chapter 508: Chapter 506: Surveillance Point
Wen Wen hurried to Hu Youling’s cell, and as soon as he entered, he could not help but cover his nose. The air was filled with the unique, pungent scent of foxes, as well as an indescribable strange odor.
Cangyan was hiding by the door of the cell, shivering and trembling. Seeing Wen Wen enter, he shuddered again, clearly on the brink of a mental collapse.
At this moment, Cangyan was no longer the spirited person he had once been. He was thin and frail like an old man, his overwhelming strength reduced to only Disaster Level, and his body was so fragile that it seemed a thrown brick could kill him.
Wen Wen stroked his chin and said, "Hmm... This vixen even knows to leave a survivor. That’s commendable."
Hu Youling was no longer in this cell; her power must have broken through, so she had been moved to a higher-security cell by the Sanctuary.
So Wen Wen quickly settled Cangyan, then went to find Hu Youling.
Now, Hu Youling had revealed her true form, transforming into a white fox that occupied most of the cell, her three snow-white tails flicking occasionally.
Although her tails were still moving, she was actually unconscious, and digesting all the energy of a Disaster Intermediate Sequence powerhouse was no easy feat.
Wen Wen could sense that once the massive energy inside her was completely digested, she should be able to reach Disaster Level!
Had he known Cangyan would be squeezed to this extent, Wen Wen would have drawn a couple of tubes of blood from him earlier to feed to Tao Qingqing. Now his blood was of no use.
Wen Wen suspected that once Hu Youling woke up, she would probably try to seduce him again, which he was somewhat looking forward to.
Even if she were as beautiful as a fairy, Wen Wen wouldn’t harbor any thoughts about her, but enjoying the view was always an option.
After leaving Hu Youling’s cell, Wen Wen found an empty cell and began to examine another gain from this trip, the reward given by Dragon Village Chief... The Power of the Four Spirits.
This hybrid toy was not as refined as the children’s toys sold outside, but according to the Dragon Village Chief, the strength of the toy itself could match that of a Disaster Level monster!
Wen Wen was indeed eager to see how it compared to a Disaster Level monster.
Following the method given by Dragon Village Chief, Wen Wen drew his own blood and after some manipulations, he successfully unsealed this Power of the Four Spirits toy.
After Wen Wen input energy to activate it, this bizarre object came to life, moving its head first, then its claws and tail, and finally its wings started to flutter slightly.
The previously crude toy had now vanished, and in front of Wen Wen was a strange, assembled creature!
If it weren’t for it being a reward from Dragon Village Chief, Wen Wen might even suspect it was a creature created by the power of the "Great Mother".
Having handled too many superpower items, Wen Wen easily figured out the abilities of The Power of the Four Spirits.
Normally, this little creature acted like a pet, following beside Wen Wen, whom could place it in his bag, pocket, or even inside a space ring.
During battle, the little creature’s body would become ethereal and float beside Wen Wen, assisting him in combat.
With just a thought from Wen Wen, this little thing could release earth, fire, water element attacks, and a white ray of lethal force.
It could also apply various beneficial combat effects to Wen Wen, each ability’s strength comparable to that of an ordinary Disaster Level creature!
Even an ordinary Disaster Level superpower user, controlling this Power of the Four Spirits, could match a typical Disaster Level creature, and with it, Wen Wen was even more formidable.
Because of its ethereal body, so long as Wen Wen wasn’t defeated in a fight, the supportive effects from this little creature would not be interrupted.
What kind of effects could be achieved could only be seen in actual combat, but even the capabilities Wen Wen had mastered now were enough to surprise him.
With this object, Wen Wen began to disdain many of his superpower items, as his strength improved, many of his items should also be upgraded.
After hesitating briefly, Wen Wen placed many of his previously used items for sale at the Containment Officer’s shop.
This included the giant sword used in his Philosophy form and the "Twelvefold Philosophy Power"!
The maximum limit of power of the Philosophy Bracelet was the Disaster Intermediate Sequence, with various limitations. For the current Wen Wen, using it would actually decrease his strength.
And the Philosophy form vest, too, held little value for Wen Wen and was rather embarrassing, better to simply pass it to someone else.
After sorting all these out, Wen Wen was ready to check out the biggest gain from his trip to Qi Ling Mountain.
That was the Sanctuary’s new capability!
Wen Wen could now expend a small amount of Catastrophe Energy to establish a Surveillance Point belonging to the Sanctuary near the city where the Containment Officers were located.
This Surveillance Point could detect monster activities in nearby areas, and Wen Wen could then issue tasks to nearby Containment Officers based on that intelligence.
In other words, with this function, the link between the Sanctuary and the Containment Officers would become much tighter and not as loose as before.
However, the specifics of what functions it had would only be clear after setting it up.
Wen Wen planned to set up a Surveillance Point in Furong River City, placing it at the top floor of the Central Tower to see what functions this Surveillance Point exactly had.
Establishment of a Surveillance Point required Wen Wen to set it up personally or indirectly through a monster that had been implanted with chains.
Since Wen Wen was already in Furong River City, he didn’t bother with the trouble of sending a subordinate monster.
When he exited the Sanctuary, Three Cubs and the little Green Snake were still affectionately intertwined, inseparable, and after Wen Wen smiled at this scene, he headed out alone to the Central Tower.
Being the center of the entire city, the Central Tower could be said to have witnessed numerous disasters, and now it was about to encounter yet another one.
Black Chains surged from Wen Wen’s hand, constructing a black signal tower-like structure at the pinnacle of the building, which disappeared into the air after being completed.
After its disappearance, likely only those related to the Sanctuary would be able to detect the existence of this Surveillance Point.
Once the Surveillance Point was set up, Wen Wen naturally wanted to check out its functions.
He returned to the Sanctuary, reached the third floor, and found a newly-formed gigantic room completely made of crystal. Around the room’s crystal walls, there was a detailed world map.
This map was very detailed, covering every human city, though these cities were dim, only the area of Furong River City had a faint light.
This signifies that only Furong River City had a Surveillance Point established.
Wen Wen walked up to this light, lightly tapped it, and the Surveillance Point was activated.
The next instant, a miniature holographic projection of the entire Furong River City appeared in front of Wen Wen!
