Chapter 366: Chapter 364: Art Is an Explosion

"Stop!"

Seeing the rocket-like object, the Faceless Demon hastily said to the Devouring Demon.

The Devouring Demon Yizar also realized that sucking in that thing might cause problems, so he quickly stopped the suction force, but by that time it was already too late.

The rocket landed between Yizar and the Faceless Demon, and with a loud bang, a large amount of high-energy fuel spread flames throughout the entire space, exploding instantly.

The ceiling of the hall was blown off by the tremendous energy of the explosion, countless demons howled in the sea of fire, and a few Catastrophic Demons fled the flames in a miserable state.

The rocket that had just hit was, astoundingly, a Cloud Bomb!

And a Cloud Bomb, within a suitably sized building, has the greatest power!

Yizar, who was closest to the explosion point, opened his huge mouth wide, sucked in the nearby flames, and staggered out of the blast radius.

Now his lips were swollen to be bigger than sausages and protruded forward, from afar, they looked like a duck’s bill...

The other Catastrophic Demons didn’t fare well either, though they all took precautions in time, they were still seriously injured; after all, even Wen Wen, who had used the Angel Physique, was almost roasted by this bomb.

As for those demons below the Catastrophic level that were in the room, aside from two with special abilities, all were buried in the sea of fire.

Dozens of meters away, Little Red Riding Hood stood with her hands on her hips, looking satisfied at her handiwork, her little face flushed with excitement.

She wouldn’t, like a barbarian, charge directly into a brawl; hiding in the dark and taking cold shots was her style.

A senior member of the Little Red Riding Hood family once said that art is an explosion, and Little Red Riding Hood felt that she was now a female artist.

The Faceless Demon took a deep breath; with the strength of a Disaster Intermediate Sequence and swift reaction, his injuries were not severe, but his head, once like a plain boiled egg, now resembled a century egg...

Now that his own meeting hall had been attacked, there would be no safe place in the entire Demon Residential District. If he didn’t defeat this group, the thought of a safe evacuation was sheer folly.

But what worried the Faceless Demon the most was not whether he could evacuate safely, but the safety of the Human Demon Embryos.

Each Human Demon Embryo was a potential Catastrophic subordinate; trouble with the Human Demon Embryos was the real problem.

So he said to the demons, "Leave this Angel to you all to deal with; I’m going to find that despicable person who released the bomb!"

Without waiting for the demons to respond, he charged out aggressively.

He had no intention of looking for the hidden Little Red Riding Hood; he was after the Breeding Demon.

The battle had already spread; even if he ordered a full retreat, it wasn’t something he could just walk away from; the heavy casualties were foreseeable, and with the inevitable roundup by the Hunters Association to follow, it would be good if even half of his subordinates remained.

And as long as he gained control of the Human Demon Puppet in the hands of the Breeding Demon, he could make a comeback. Even if he couldn’t gain control over the Human Demon Puppet, he couldn’t let the Breeding Demon run away with it!

He alone, the Faceless Demon, was enough to master the method of creating Human Demon Embryos; if he couldn’t keep the Breeding Demon under his control, then it was time for him to disappear!

After Klui left, the other demons looked at each other.

They weren’t naive enough to think Klui was really going to find the person who set the bomb, but they didn’t call him out, either. Exchanging glances, they scattered and fled.

Demons are creatures without much integrity. With their leader gone, they weren’t about to foolishly clash head-on with the enemy; preserving their lives was of utmost importance.

However, the Angel of Universal Light wouldn’t just watch them escape. He released hundreds of white rays in the air, simultaneously attacking the four Disaster Level demons present, forcing them to halt their steps.

The four demons exchanged looks, knowing that they wouldn’t be able to escape easily without dealing with the Angel of Universal Light, and so their forms began to change at once.

The Devouring Demon Yizar, who resembled a little boy, transformed into a huge monster with a massive belly and a mouth that took up most of its body.

The Little Flame Demon Matilda’s clothes burnt away to reveal a body covered in lava, radiating astounding heat.

The remaining two, one turned into a silver-white metallic monster, even more muscular than the philosophical Wen Wen, and the other remained humanoid but appeared as if half of its body was burnt, with ten fingers extending into long, sharp blades.

They were the Steel Body Demon Kulun and the Fear Hand Demon Hore.

Faced with the four monsters revealing their true forms, the Angel of Universal Light put forth twelve times his normal effort. Holy Light, as if free of cost, condensed into various shapes and attacked the four demons.

Matilda snorted coldly. Her long tail swayed back and forth, neutralizing the beams of Holy Light. Then she raised her hands towards the sky, and a gigantic fireball, several meters in diameter, formed above her hands, the air around it distorting with intense heat.

"White-haired Avians, you dare to face the four of us alone, do you think you’re an Archangel?"

Having said that, she hurled the fireball into the sky.

This move was developed by the Flame Demon Clan specifically to counter angels. It would automatically track enemies emitting light and heat in the sky. The brighter the light, the more intense the flames would become, making dodging a futile drain on one’s stamina.

Even though the Angel of Universal Light had never seen this move before, he was aware of the immense energy contained within the fireball, so he immediately flapped his wings to distance himself from it.

But unexpectedly, the fireball, like a comet, followed him relentlessly. He released several beams of light to shatter the fireball, but the light only made the fireball grow bigger upon entering it.

Matilda smiled, assured that this annoying angel was finished. If the attackers of Disaster Level were all at this angel’s level, there might be no need for them to flee.

However, at that moment, a scorching signal flare attacked the fireball. Its nature to track light and heat caused it to target the flare, and it struck the flashing projectile, exploding violently.

The Angel of Universal Light thus narrowly escaped calamity.

Matilda’s expression darkened, and the mood of the other demons soured as well. What annoyed them the most at this point were the flies lurking in the shadows.

Unlike a bazooka, a signal flare leaves a trail when launched, which allowed the demons to roughly pinpoint the shooter’s location!

"I’ll handle that fly. You deal with this bird!" After saying that, Matilda ran in Little Red Riding Hood’s direction, leaving a trail of scorching footprints behind her.

Little Red Riding Hood was somewhat stunned. She had merely resolved one encirclement and already found the demons’ wrath turned towards her. Close combat was not her forte.

Yet, seeing Matilda swathed in lava, looking rather cool, she couldn’t help but lick her lips, thinking how beautiful it would be if such a dazzling monster exploded.
