Chapter 362: Chapter 360 Monster Overhaul

In the midst of piercing screams and vicious curses, Wen Wen emerged from Tao Qingqing’s cell, looking godly refreshed and brisk.

Implanting the chains into her was much more difficult than it had been with Bai Xiaomiao, but Wen Wen took pleasure in it.

In Wen Wen’s heart, Tao Qingqing held a status similar to that of Three Cubs; they were both pets, so whenever he saw her in unbearable pain, Wen Wen would empathetically pause for a moment before continuing.

This also resulted in Tao Qingqing enduring pain for a much longer time than normal when having the chains implanted... After all, pausing did not lessen the agony, rather the frequent stops intensified it.

After such suffering, Tao Qingqing would probably not look favorably upon Wen Wen for quite some time.

But Wen Wen loved to provoke her until she was furious, wishing she could kill him, and then use various means to make her as docile as a kitten.

Having captured Tao Qingqing for nearly half a year, Wen Wen and Tao Qingqing’s relationship had already gone through such cycles several times, and he treated it as a form of entertainment.

Frankly speaking, if Wen Wen wasn’t a pervert, always infuriating Tao Qingqing just as she was about to succumb, by now she might have even been carrying the half-perverted, terrifying offspring of a vampire...

After leaving Tao Qingqing, Wen Wen’s demeanor towards the other monsters changed completely. Amid a symphony of wails, Wen Wen implanted chains into all the combat-type monsters in the Disaster Area.

Then, without delay, he headed to the Calamity Area to confront the four Disaster Level monsters: the Angel of Universal Light, Yan Biqing, Little Red Packet, and the Underground Palace Monster.

Their resistance was much fiercer than the monsters in the Disaster Area due to their strength, but under the oppressive rule of Wen Wen as the Calamity Prison Supervisor, they were all eventually subdued and implanted with controlling chains.

Once the chains were embedded within them, all the monsters felt the invisible shackles, but Wen Wen never expected that this alone would make them submissive. He knew that the moment they were released, they would wreak havoc.

Therefore, they first needed a taste of suffering!

He raised his hand high and then violently pulled down; countless slender Black Chains materialized in his grasp. Each of the chained monsters felt an unbearable, bone-deep pain, a torment that went beyond the flesh and seeped into the soul.

When Wen Wen released his hand, the pain suddenly vanished, leaving the monsters feeling an immense relief.

"The pain you just felt is the punishment you will receive for disobeying my orders. If you do not wish to experience such agony again, then carry out my commands without fail!"

Through the Black Chains, Wen Wen’s voice entered the ears of those monsters with precision.

"Additionally, to ensure you remember this pain clearly, I will have you experience it once more!"

Without hesitation, Wen Wen pulled on the chains again, and the entire prison was instantly engulfed with cries of agony. Disaster Level monsters faced the punishment five times, but the Calamity Level monsters had to endure it fifteen times!

After everything had ceased, in the minds of all the monsters, Wen Wen had only one image: a powerful devil who delighted in violence!

However, Wen Wen didn’t care about their opinions, as he had never had a good image in the eyes of these creatures anyway.

To his face, they were respectful, but behind his back, they probably had cursed him and his family with all manners of foul language countless times already.

Rather than let them curse me in the dark, I’d prefer to plant the root of fear deeply in their hearts!

"Next, I’m going to take you out of this cell and attack a stronghold of demons. During this process, you must bring back anything you deem valuable, defeat the demons, and take them into the Sanctuary!"

Upon hearing that they were to attack demons, the Angel of Universal Light’s initially resistant expression softened, and a hint of killing intent appeared on its face, clearly prepared for slaughter.

Angels and demons are natural enemies. Among all the reasons monsters first stepped into the real world, angels were one of the few not enticed by the riches of the real world, but rather driven to pursue the demons that had entered it!

Of course, their objectives became less pure in the later stages.

But unlike the Avians with their complex thoughts that could suppress their instincts, this fellow had spent most of the past millennia as a stone statue, with its mind filled with Holy Light, which was why it had initially wanted to indiscriminately kill the residents of Spectrum Town.

Aside from it, the other monsters showed little enthusiasm; the demons’ notoriety was known to all in the Inner World. Unless necessary, they really did not want to clash with the demons, and they were even less inclined to serve Wen Wen.

Yet they didn’t want to experience that pain again, and having been confined for so long, going out for a change of scenery seemed like a decent option.

Most importantly, they couldn’t escape this hellish place on their own. So, bringing other monsters in to suffer as they had was a form of entertainment to them.

Then, Wen Wen detailed the requirements and precautions for the operation to the monsters. The more detailed he was, the smarter the judgments of the chains became about whether they were breaking rules, thus enhancing Wen Wen’s control over the monsters.

"You can fight freely, and when your life is in danger, you can activate the chains on your neck so that I can bring you back into the Sanctuary... However, if you return empty-handed, you might be punished by me!"

"Lastly, you must forget your original identities. Do not attempt to contact anyone you knew before, and do not attempt to harm ordinary people. The chains on you can sense any breach of rules."

"Externally, you have only one identity: the ’Black Cross’ servant!"

After all the instructions, Wen Wen arranged for the prison guard to distribute robes to the monsters and also took a larger robe for himself.

When he released all the monsters, he had no power left to use, so he chose to fight in philosophical form; donning a robe would spare his opponent some embarrassment...

After emerging from the Sanctuary, Wen Wen discovered that Wang Junyi’s house was in disarray, clearly the demon that had come looking for Wang Zixuan, not finding him, had wreaked inhumane devastation on his home.

But a house can be repaired when destroyed, a lost life is truly gone.

Then Wen Wen had Three Cubs drive near the battery factory, letting the Sacred Beetle enter the battery processing plant.

Infiltrating places riddled with demons, using rats which could easily be detected, Wen Wen opted for the smaller and more discreet Sacred Beetle to observe the situation.

The exterior of the factory, like all abandoned processing plants in the world, was ruined with overgrown vegetation, where natural creations outnumbered man-made ones, evoking an innate sense of desolation.

But when Wen Wen controlled the beetle to crawl over a wall, the scene inside was starkly different!
