Such days were too blissful, with the cold wind howling outside and the bamboo rustling, while inside the small house was as warm as spring. And in the soft, fluffy bed lay another soft, fluffy person—only a fool would get out of bed!

"An unknown number? Stop dawdling and answer it. What if it’s something urgent?" Xu Xiaoyan glanced at the phone and pushed Yan Fei, who had snatched the phone and was pretending to be dead. "Hurry up, no tantrums! Finish the call and I’ll stay with you for another ten minutes."

It wasn’t clear whether the command in her voice worked or the incentive of ten more minutes did, but the call, which had been hung up due to dawdling and redialed, was finally answered.
