Taking advantage of the empty night road, the two of them ran all the way to the North Ring Road, sprinting carelessly under the streetlights.

"Dream on, you’re going first!" The girl glanced at him, pushed open the living room door, switched on the light, and said sternly, "Hurry up, wash your feet, warm up the bed, and don’t think of slacking off."

"But I need to deal with the rabbits! These two rabbits are injured, and if we clean them up now, we can stew them for tomorrow. If we wait for them to die from their injuries or freeze to death overnight, the taste won’t be as good without bleeding them first," Yan Fei justified convincingly.

The two dogs weren’t interested in the rabbits anymore. They had just run all the way back and were too excited; instead of crowding around Yan Fei, they frolicked in the yard.
