Before Yan Fei and his group could reply, a woman ran out of the restaurant, shouting at the tomboy, "Xiao Ke, why didn’t you wait for me? What are you doing out here?"

The tomboy paid no attention to the woman who had run out, her round eyes fixated on Yan Fei, asking, "Are you the Red Scarf Big Brother?"

The question was so unexpected that everyone else was left puzzled. Yan Fei had a faint feeling that he recognized the voice, but he couldn’t be sure.

The woman who had shouted for Xiao Ke had already run over, grabbed the tomboy’s hand and apprehensively glanced at Yan Fei and his group, asking Xiao Ke, "What’s going on, Xiao Ke?"

Xiao Ke wriggled away from the woman’s grip, still staring at Yan Fei. She took two steps forward, tears welling up in her eyes. "Is it really you? Red Scarf Big Brother?"

Her shaky voice filled with emotion finally confirmed something in Yan Fei’s mind, and he instinctively responded, "No, it’s not me!"

However, this answer made Xiao Ke even more certain of her premise, and she started crying out loud. She swooped onto Yan Fei and hugged him, sobbing, "Big Brother, I finally found you!"

Yan Fei tried to pry the girl’s arms away from him, but she seemed to be using all her strength. He didn’t dare to apply too much force, fearing he might hurt her, and he was momentarily at a loss.

Just then, a man ran out from the restaurant. Seeing the situation, he quickly dashed over and repeatedly asked, "What happened? What happened?"

The man and woman also got hold of the situation. Although they were still unclear about the details, they didn’t think Yan Fei and his group meant any harm to the little girl. They awkwardly smiled at the group and implored the girl, "Xiao Ke, stop crying. If you have something to say, speak up. What’s really happening? Do you know this...brother here?"

After a few words of persuasion, the little girl finally let go of Yan Fei. She took a step back and addressed the man and the woman, "Brother, Sister-in-law, I’m fine. Could you wait for me for a while?"

She then turned to Xu Xiaoyan and apologized, "I’m sorry, Sister. Could I have a few words alone with Big Brother?"

Xu Xiaoyan had been instinctively worried about the girl’s conduct. Now, seeing the girl’s tear-stained face, she felt a pang of sympathy and nodded, "Go ahead!"

The little girl noticed that Xu Xiaoyan still hadn’t let go of Yan Fei’s arm. Unfazed, she proceeded to ask, "Big Brother, are you okay?"

Having thought of a plan, Yan Fei casually replied, "You must have mistaken me for someone else. I’m not your Big Brother!"

He then gestured to Xu Xiaoyan to call out to The Sixth Miss Guo and the rest, "She got the wrong person. Let’s go! We should get back and rest; we have more fun waiting for us tomorrow!"

"I didn’t mistake you, it’s you, Red Scarf Big Brother! I recognize your voice, I can’t be wrong!" The girl insisted for and tried to grab his arm, but he dodged. She began to cry again, "I remember you, I think of you every day, I am sure it’s you..."

Yan Fei then felt the grip on his arm tighten even more.

Internally groaning, he maintained a nonchalant expression and said, "I really don’t know you, you must have made a mistake. I’m sorry, but we really must go now!"

"Exactly! Big Brother, you are a hero, how can you not admit it..." yelled the little girl, tears flying in all directions.

"Let’s go, let’s go!" Yan Fei disregarded her and signaled everyone to get in the car.

The little girl tried to approach him again, but her brother and sister-in-law held her back. She struggled a bit but to no avail. She stood there, continuing to shout after them.

The moon had risen, making the busy restaurant entrance a center of attention. Bystanders started to gather around, with various tests and speculations flying around. Luckily, the tomboy looked quite young, or people might have conceived even wilder theories!

As they got into the car, no one asked anything further. The driver started the engine, preparing to head back to the hotel. Just as the car began to move, the girl suddenly broke free from her brother and sister-in-law’s hold.

She then threw herself onto the car’s bonnet. The driver halted the car immediately, causing cries of surprise to erupt from the spectators.

The girl had a look of total desperation as she blocked the car, shouting, "I remember everything you said, you told me not to be afraid, that the bad guys had all run away. Have you forgotten it all?"

"Yan Xiaofei, tell the truth, do you know that girl or not?" Xu Xiaoyan finally couldn’t hold it in, she looked at the crying girl in front of the car and asked Yan Fei.

"I’ll tell you when we get back!" Yan Fei didn’t have a proper explanation yet, so that was his way of dodging the question.

Seeing the situation, the crowd around them got even closer. Some people deliberately stood behind the little girl, their faces full of vigilance.

Looking at the crowd’s demeanor, it was likely that they thought the people in the car had done something wrong. They were ready to take action, intending to help stop the car.

The man and woman were still trying to persuade the little girl and ended up standing in front of the car as well. There was no way the car could move now.

Seeing this, Yan Fei was utterly helpless. The girl in front of the car was about to reveal some crucial information. After a moment, he thought and opened the car door, "You guys wait for me, I’ll go and clear things up!"

The girl wiped away her tears and laughed as she approached him. Her eyes were fixated on him, "It’s definitely you. If you don’t admit it, I’ll go get the police. Anyway, I remember your face and your car number!"

"The car isn’t mine!" Yan Fei retorted grumpily. He then smiled at the vigilant man and woman and whispered to the girl, "Let’s move to the side to talk, there are too many people here..."
