"Hero Yan, what’s the deal with this box of yours?" On the slow-moving bus, Ji Yunyun couldn’t help but ask Yan Fei.

She was asking about a wooden box that Yan Fei was carrying. It looked like a suitcase, but it was entirely made of wood. It was quite polished and smooth, and it even had a lock and a handle for opening.

"The boxes sold on the street are not durable, so I decided to make a sturdier one for my dorm. I can lock it and feel secure about storing my valuables in it," Yan Fei explained.

Not only were Ji Yunyun and the others curious, but Xu Xiaoyan’s elder sisters were also intrigued. They were just too shy to ask. Once he explained, everyone understood.

However, those who knew him would understand that this was just his way. Nevertheless, some passengers on the bus might think he was bragging, assuming he probably couldn’t afford a new modern suitcase. Though poverty wasn’t shameful, it seems somewhat vain to make so many excuses for carrying an old wooden box, don’t you think?

Unaffected by such thoughts, Ji Yunyun continued curiously, "You really are multitalented! The craftsmanship is quite good, and so is the wood. It even smells nice. Speaking of, what do you have in that big bundle? It looked pretty heavy when I saw it earlier!"

Xu Xiaoyan responded happily, "It’s filled with white paper for me to practice calligraphy."

Two of Ji Yunyun’s male classmates chimed in, "No wonder it’s so heavy! Your brother is really strong."

Giggles arose from the girls who were familiar with Yan Fei.

While unloading the luggage, the three sisters did not lift a finger, carrying only their own bags. Seeing Yan Fei’s large luggage on the outer edge, the two boys volunteered to move the large bundle away for him. As a result, it almost fell on their feet when they carried it out, causing a bit of laughter.

Among the three sisters, Xu Xiaoyan was the only one traveling for the first time and had brought more belongings. She carried a small backpack and Yan Fei carried the wooden box and a large bundle. The other two sisters only had two small packages each, more than manageable for them.

The slow bus finally reached the stop. With a delightful smile, Ji Yunyun waved at others from the bus, "You all worked hard, hurry up with your luggage, and you might make it for registration. I am going to sit till the school gate. Don’t forget to meet tomorrow at noon. Bye..."

Those who got off were collectively despising her.

This bus stop was quite a distance from the other schools; only her school had a stop right at the entrance. She seemed so pleased with herself!

Yan Fei and others quickened their pace towards the school. Registration, payment, bedding collection, looking for dorms, they had a lot on their plate!

Xu Xiaoyan came out giggling, and when the two of them returned, they brought with them a new bed board. The other girls were puzzled, "The girls in the dorm next door wanted to change their bed board this morning, but the manager didn’t allow them. You guys are so lucky."

Squatting for a bit, he became rather frustrated.

In reality, he didn’t come here to use the toilet. After they mentioned going out to buy things, he remembered that after paying the tuition and bedding fees, he had no money left.

He had initially planned not to carry too much money with him for the journey and then find a time to retrieve some cash from the ’Dinosaur World’ once he arrived. But he had been busy until now and had completely forgotten about it.

At this moment, he was frustrated because there were so many people in the school. Even a small restroom was busy with people coming and going. Even though there were partitions, they were too small to obstruct anyone’s view.

Thinking that the three sisters were waiting for him outside, he started to get anxious.
