Yan Fei declared earnestly, though his tone sounded like a primary school student who found a dime and handed it to a police officer, then spoke with that sort of tone while being praised.

Once the two hung up the phone, Yan Fei pushed the matter out of his mind and turned into Xiaohei, flying straight home.

On the other end, just after Chief Pi had hung up, an old man beside him chuckled and said, "You seem pretty happy?"

"Yes!" Chief Pi, grinning, called out to a few people in the distance who were younger than them, but more or less had some ailments. "Come on over, let me tell you about the guy who just called. When we first met..."

By the time Yan Fei flew back to Sancha River Township, it was already evening.
