Carrying a Jurassic on me

Chapter 1112: Chapter 572: Caught a Fish_3

This was Old Niu spilling his guts, and indeed, this kind of thing really wasn’t rare—the simplest example being, for instance, if someone often borrows money from you to the point that it becomes a habit, and then one day you just so happen to be strapped for cash yourself, you might end up offending them!

However, Yan Fei really wasn’t worried about this. I want to do what I want, all according to my mood. Who am I afraid of offending?

After having a great time in the dinosaur world for a while, it was currently the best season in the dinosaur world. Who knows how many little lives had already been born or were about to be born, or were preparing to break out of their shells at any moment and come into this world? Everywhere was brimming with vitality, and just looking at it made one feel comfort deep within their heart—especially for the master of this place, Yanfei, as all these were considered his own little wards!

After taking a big round, when it was almost dawn, Yan Fei prepared to return to his cabin on the cruise ship.

But as soon as he appeared, he felt something was off.

The next second, he plunged with a splash into the water.

Where was the boat?

Turning into a little black bird and flying into the sky, he finally saw the cruise ship not far away.

Hmm, it seemed that the boat had drifted away with the current, and he had appeared at the original coordinates—but that also didn’t seem right, the Earth was still rotating after all!

Forget it, no more thinking. Anyway, having the dinosaur world was already puzzling enough for people to understand. Thinking about other things would just be wasting brain cells. He just needed to be more careful in the future not to disappear for too long on vehicles or ships...

He flew above the cruise ship; it was just beginning to get light, and The Third Young Master Guo and The Fifth Young Master Guo were already yawning incessantly at the bow of the boat.

Yan Fei was still hearing The Fifth Young Master Guo speak, "In the morning, the fish come out to look for food, the perfect time for fishing. I’m not giving you a hard time, Third Brother, but you need to get some exercise too. Look at me... Achoo..."

Yan Fei couldn’t help but find the sight of the two brothers amusing, but he also kind of understood—this must be why they enjoyed coming out to play, right?

In the city, these two were always putting on airs of nobility, watched by everyone wherever they went. Now, on this boat with only a few people, they could do whatever they liked, truly able to release their nature and enjoy themselves to the fullest.

On a whim, Yan Fei circled around, not going back directly. He dived into the sea nearby, then caught a small fish and flew back with it.

When he was above The Fifth Young Master Guo’s head, he relaxed his claws, and an active, jumping little fish fell beside The Fifth Young Master Guo—Yan Fei felt a tad regretful: why couldn’t he have aimed better!

Back to the room, to sleep.

At breakfast, something that left Yan Fei both laughing and crying happened.

The Fifth Young Master Guo was showing off with a small fish in high spirits to the others who had just woken up: "See this? Just got out of bed and I’ve already caught a small fish. Never mind that it’s a bit small, this is a good omen, signifying that we’re going to have a great catch today. Are you guys coming to join us after eating? Don’t wait until you see us brothers with our huge haul and then get jealous..."

Looking at the small fish, still bearing the marks of his claws, Yan Fei decided he’d better just eat his meal!

Unexpectedly, because of this little fish, Guo Jingya and Xu Xiaoyan actually got interested in fishing, and after eating, they joined the two brother at the bow—naturally! With only a few people around, there wasn’t much else to do, and besides, it was still too early and not suitable for swimming.

The Fifth Young Master Guo immediately started to impart his ’fishing wisdom,’ and he really spoke as if he knew his stuff, with The Third Young Master Guo occasionally chiming in to supplement his points. Anyone who didn’t know any better would have thought these two were seasoned fishing experts!

Guo Jingya, Xu Xiaoyan, and even Nana were all clueless about fishing. Listening to the two men speak so authoritatively, they all nodded their heads repeatedly and prepared themselves, looking ready to dive into the task at hand.

Xu Xiaoyan even called out to Yan Fei: "Yan Xiaofei, won’t you come and give it a try?"

"I’ll pass, you all go ahead and fish! I’ll just wait to eat the fish," Yan Fei squatted down, treating the scene as if he were watching a monkey show. He knew full well they were all amateurs amusing themselves, and counting on them to actually catch any fish was truly unreliable.

As daylight broke, Yan Fei did see quite a few people around, and although the boats they piloted varied, nearly all of them had several people on board who seemed professional but their actual skill was unknown, squatting on the boats, pretending to fish.

Could there be anything more boring?

With nothing to do, Yan Fei saw the sun come up and remembered the sun hats in his room, so he quickly went inside to fetch one for Xu Xiaoyan.

Guo Jingya was not pleased: "You only know how to take care of Sister Xiaoxing, huh? And you don’t care about us?"

Yan Fei chuckled: "Isn’t it just one hat?"

Everyone was speechless; he was right, it was only one hat after all, so of course he would give it to his own wife.

So they all ran back to their own rooms, grabbed hats, and continued to squat at the bow.

Yan Fei, looking at the group who knew they wouldn’t catch any fish but still sat there full of hope, felt that their silhouettes were bleak...

What a pity the season wasn’t right, the boat was a bit too luxurious, and with various vessels coming and going on the sea, otherwise one could compose a poem: A solitary boat, a cloaked angler lone, fishing in the cold river snow...

After watching for a while, he felt bored. When his wife for the umpteenth time lamented, "How come we’ve not caught any fish yet? Yan Xiaofei, it must be because you’re standing here, scaring the fish away. Can’t you just sit down like us..."

Feeling wronged, Yan Fei’s eyes darted around: "Then I’m going back to my room for a nap. If you catch a fish that’s too big to pull up, remember to call me, okay?"

"Off you go!" Xu Xiaoyan waved him off without turning her head, continuing to focus intently on the sea as if her gaze could conjure up fish.

And sure enough, not long after Yan Fei stopped standing there, there was excitement from The Fifth Young Master Guo, who was fixed on the sea with the girl next to him: "Xu... Xiao Xing... fish... there’s a fish... come pull... Third Brother, hurry and help..."

After an entire morning, there finally seemed to be a glimmer of hope, and The Fifth Young Master Guo was so excited, he was all tongue-tied!

"Ah..." Xu Xiaoyan reacted, letting out a cry as she quickly moved into action.

The Third Young Master Guo was also quick to respond and, along with The Fifth Young Master Guo, they hurried to reel in the fish, with Guo Jingya and Nana also in a flurry of activity—it got so chaotic that people on several nearby boats started looking over, thinking someone had fallen overboard from their boat!
