Isabel Smith furiously slapped the man on her.

These men were all of the same age group, they were all rich kids and nobles usually arrogant and fearless. Now, when they saw Isabel being so difficult to control, they all became more reckless and developed the urge to subjugate her.

Now, seeing Isabel attempting to hit someone, a man promptly raised his hand and without hesitation caught Isabel’s wrist. He lifted his hand towards her face and ruthlessly slapped her.

Isabel took the slap and her entire ear was ringing, she heard a burst of laughter around her and subconsciously gripped her fist tightly.

"I’ve never seen a woman like you with such a fiery temper. I really wonder what kind of man Elijah Smith is, to choose a woman like you. But since it’s Elijah Smith who left us with you, we will definitely not let him down!"

"Elijah Smith actually has a girlfriend and he didn’t inform us, how mean of him!"

A few men were talking all at once. They then raised their hands and began to yank at their own clothes.

Before too long, the sofa where Isabel was lying became cluttered with pieces of men’s clothes.

Though Isabel was frightened, she was mainly overwhelmed by sadness. She just couldn’t believe that Elijah Smith had abandoned her and left the place.

Even if she were once so infatuated with Marion Hancock to the point of clinging to her parents to let Marion accompany them to the adulthood ceremony, which later resulted in the car accident killing her parents, she was still his older sister after all!

Could he really be so heartless?

Lost in these thoughts, Isabel was oblivious to how tightly she was clenching her fists.

All of a sudden, a weight on her body brought her back to reality. She lifted her head to see a man, half naked, pressing down on her. She abruptly turned her head away, but heard the man teasingly blowing on her face and saying, "Baby, don’t be shy, we haven’t even taken off our underwear yet!"

Elijah Smith recklessly drove to the doorstep of the Smith Family Villa. Because of the high speed, the car made a piercing sound due to friction with the ground when it came to an abrupt stop, disturbing the servants in the villa.

Without even turning off the car, Elijah Smith pushed open the car door and hurried towards the entrance of the villa.

Surprised to see Elijah Smith returning before midnight, a servant standing at the entrance called out, "Young Master, you’re back?"

Elijah Smith glanced at the servant and asked, "Where’s my sister?"

"Miss is upstairs." The servant answered formally.

Without any response, Elijah Smith stretched out his hand to push open the heavy solid wood red door of the villa, and headed straight for the stairs without even removing his shoes.

Elijah Smith climbed two steps at a time, taking five or six strides to reach the corridor on the second floor. He rushed to Evelyn’s bedroom, did not bother knocking, twisted the handle and pushed the door open.

It had only been 10 minutes since Evelyn was home, she was lying on bed, pseudo-sleeping. Hearing the noise, her eyebrows twitched, and when Elijah Smith came closer, she slowly opened her eyes, looked at the hurried Elijah Smith, gently raised a shallow smile and called out, "Elijah."

"Sis, are you okay?" Elijah Smith asked in a gentle tone while leaning closer. He then raised his hand to touch Evelyn’s forehead, thankfully the temperature was not high. Elijah Smith gave a sigh of relief and got up, walked to the wardrobe, grabbed a coat and returned to the bedside. He then assisted Evelyn up from the bed, draped the coat over her and embraced her shoulder to walk down the stairs.
