Chapter 98: Chapter 0098: Someone else’s teacher [Part 1]

Jin Zhiqiang furiously left, and Tie Mu scoffed, saying, "That really is embarrassing. He’s completely tarnished the Jin Family’s reputation."

Qi Houbo turned his head to look at Tie Mu and said, "You’re one to talk about embarrassment. Aren’t you the supposedly unbeatable ’Barbarian’? Why didn’t you step in earlier?"

Mentioning that, Tie Mu’s old face reddened with embarrassment as he said, "Xiao Qi, I’m sorry, this one’s on me. I’ll take care of the meal."

Qi Houbo glared at Tie Mu and said, "One meal isn’t going to cut it. I took a slap for you, we’re talking about a month’s meals at least."

Tie Mu chuckled and said, "You got it! The whole semester’s fine."

"Xiao Qi, you’ve given me a new perspective on you. Who knew that beneath your effeminate appearance, there was a heart of a real man," Han Chunsheng seriously said.

"Uh! Boom!"

Everyone was stunned at first by Han Chunsheng’s words, then burst into laughter.

Qi Houbo, annoyed, put his hands on his hips and said, "I am a real man."

Seeing Qi Houbo’s actions and hearing his voice, everyone laughed even harder.

Meanwhile, in a hotel at the school, Jin Yu and Wu Di were sitting opposite each other in a private room.

Jin Yu was still sniffing a red wine that cost an ordinary person’s annual salary.

"It looks like your rival is quite restless. He’s caused so much trouble just upon arriving at the school. And Tang Xiaoxiao seems to have some connection with him too. Things are getting more interesting," Jin Yu opened the conversation.

Wu Di sneered and said, "Let him jump around. This time he has offended that little man Huang Zhongwei; he’ll have a tough time during the military training."

While they were talking, a middle-aged man dressed like a servant walked up to Jin Yu and whispered a few words in his ear.

"Idiots!"

After hearing the servant’s words, Jin Yu angrily threw his valuable crystal glass against the wall corner.

The crimson red wine flowed like fresh blood, looking incredibly stark.

"What’s up?" Wu Di asked casually.

Jin Yu knew he couldn’t hide such a matter from Wu Di, as everyone was in the same circle and there were truly no secrets among them.

Jin Yu smiled slightly and said, "It’s my useless younger brother, who has carelessly provoked one of your enemies. I’m going to make him come back right now. How could he dare compete with Young Master Wu for an enemy?"

Upon hearing Jin Yu’s words, Wu Di’s eyes flickered, and then he smiled slightly, saying, "No worries. If Zhiqiang wants to use him to establish his reputation, I don’t mind. After all, an enemy is an enemy; it doesn’t matter who steps on him."

Jin Yu, observing Wu Di’s reaction and with a glint in his eyes, still maintained his smile and said, "Better not. My brother is useless. How could he compare with your methods, Young Master Wu, who frequently seeks to bring family into it? It’s really losing face."

Wu Di, hearing Jin Yu’s words, showed a faint smile and said, "Indeed, involving elders in matters between peers isn’t very honorable."

Upon hearing Wu Di’s remark, a trace of annoyance flickered in Jin Yu’s eyes, but his face remained unchanged as he said to the people behind him, "Have that fool come back. He’s Young Master Wu’s enemy, don’t let that idiot get involved."

"Yes! Young master!" The servant replied and promptly left.

Wu Di watched the unfolding scene, his smile growing deeper.

After a hearty meal and drinks, the bond between Chu Feng and his six companions deepened, especially as the small rift with Qi Houbo was completely resolved.

"Old Tie, he must be from your Tie Family, right? His kung fu isn’t as good as yours. Why didn’t you take action?" Once everyone else had left, only Tie Mu and Chu Feng remained, and Chu Feng asked.

Mentioning Tie Jingwu, Tie Mu’s face flared up with anger as he said, "He’s the child of my second uncle’s family, my cousin. He’s such a spineless person, thinking he’s held in high regard but actually just a doorman and a weakling. I’ve wanted to beat him for a long time. But my dad won’t allow it, saying the Tie Family must not be a laughingstock to outsiders. If I dare to act, he’ll cripple my martial arts."

Chu Feng, upon hearing Tie Mu’s words, nodded and patted his shoulder, saying, "Your dad’s right. Even if they’re weaklings, they are still your Tie Family. But next time if you can’t act, I can do it for you."

Tie Mu felt warmed inside and said, "Thanks."

Chu Feng replied, "We’re brothers, no need for such formality."

The afternoon was the time for the new students to meet, and of course, to be briefed about the military training.

Chu Feng and his group arrived early at the school’s comprehensive building, all four of them being from Class One of the Business and Management program.

The Management College is one of East River University’s key colleges, recruiting a significant number of students each year. The Business and Management major is even more popular within the college. Although the required scores are very high, it still manages to fill up three classes each year, totaling one hundred and twenty students.

All four were in the first class of Business and Management. By the time Chu Feng and his group reached the classroom, quite a few people were already there.

"Wow, my old man was right. There are so many girls in the Management College. Looks like I might have a chance to accomplish the mission he gave me," Tie Mu said excitedly, looking at the crowd of girls.

Upon hearing Tie Mu’s remark, the other three turned their faces away, fearing any association with him.

Chu Feng’s class was a classic case of more females than males, with only fifteen male students and twenty-five female ones forming a veritable ’ladies’ army’.

Chu Feng and his friends found seats at random, and then Qi Houbo began to work his diplomatic magic.

It had to be said that Qi Houbo had no barriers when it came to communicating with women.

"I’m really envious, why doesn’t anyone talk to me like that?" Tie Mu said, shaking his head repeatedly.

Han Chunsheng looked up and said, "They’re good sisters, how can you compare with them?"

Chu Feng laughed, "He does want to compare, but tell me, with his looks, if he acted girlish, would he seem more charming or more terrifying?"

Han Chunsheng looked at Tie Mu and pondered seriously for a while before saying, "More terrifying!"

"Damn! I’m all manly. Don’t girls nowadays all like a sense of security?" Tie Mu defended.

Chu Feng said, "That’s true, indeed, but do you think with your muscular build they worry more about perverts, or about you abusing them?"

"Worry about you..."

"Shut up!" Before Han Chunsheng could speak, Tie Mu scolded him.

Han Chunsheng and Chu Feng looked at each other and then both started laughing, while Tie Mu was utterly frustrated.

"Looks like the mission my old man gave me is unlikely to be fulfilled," Tie Mu muttered dejectedly.

"Old Tie, don’t be so down. I just asked around for you, and actually, a few are interested in you," Qi Houbo, having returned at some point, said to Tie Mu.

"Really?" Tie Mu’s eyes lit up upon hearing Qi Houbo’s words.

Qi Houbo nodded and said proudly, "Yeah, you see who’s in charge."

Tie Mu said, "Which ones? I’ll pick one and start cultivating the relationship quickly to complete my old man’s mission."

Han Chunsheng said, "If you’re just doing this to fulfill your dad’s task, I’d advise you to forget it. This way, you’re harming others, and with that mindset, you won’t likely succeed anyway."

Chu Feng nodded in agreement and added, "Xiao Han is right. Dating isn’t a mission."

Hearing Chu Feng and Han Chunsheng together, Tie Mu scratched his head and asked, "Then what is dating?"

Qi Houbo thumped his chest and said, "Leave that to me. Just do as I say and I guarantee that not only will you complete the task, but you’ll also enjoy the thrill of dating."

Tie Mu, looking grateful, said, "My future happiness is all in your hands, my brother."

"Excuse us," just as the four were enthusiastically discussing, a rather handsome young man, who moved with an unmistakeable gentlemanly grace, approached Chu Feng’s group and spoke.

Chu Feng and his friends looked up and he said, "What’s up?"

The newcomer smiled slightly and introduced himself, "My name is Luan Fei, and we’re going to be classmates. I hope you’ll look after me in the future."

It’s hard not to reciprocate a smile, so Chu Feng and his friends politely responded.

"We might have elections for class officers later, and since I was the class president and the president of the Student Union in high school, I believe I can create a better class environment for everyone. So I hope you’ll support me in the election," after exchanging pleasantries, Luan Fei got straight to the point.

The four were surprised that Luan Fei’s visit was for this reason, and they all paused for a moment.
