Ning Xiaoman turned her head away, fumed back to her place, and ignored Chu Feng for the whole day.

Chu Feng had originally planned to tell An Rongrong as well, but later decided it would be better to give her a surprise.

Huang Lan replied, "You’re really smart. This task is something you can handle along the way."

Chu Feng said, "If it was that simple, you wouldn’t be calling me. Just tell me what it is."

Huang Lan said, "You need to win something back from Joseph, the Gambling King of the USA."

Chu Feng said, "Which fool lost our belongings to the Gambling King of the USA this time?"

Huang Lan replied, "It’s not a fool from our country this time but one from Britain who lost very important aircraft carrier data to Joseph. Somebody has already started helping Joseph look for a buyer, but he, being obsessed with gambling, doesn’t care how much the data can be sold for. He would rather have someone win it from him."

Upon hearing Huang Lan’s words, Chu Feng remarked, "Doesn’t Britain boast of having Military Intelligence Five and their 007? Can’t they handle a gambler?"

Huang Lan said, "This situation is somewhat complicated to explain. Are you sure you want me to go into details?"

Chu Feng thought for a moment but held back from telling Huang Lan that he had already reached Xuan Level Mid-Stage.

Upon hearing Cui Jingyan’s words, Chu Feng’s expression stiffened, "Why? Is it because Rongrong is coming back? If that’s the case, I hope you won’t go. Things happen, and they’ve happened. I don’t know how to explain right now, nor do I know what to say. But I won’t shirk the responsibility for what I have done."

Cui Jingyan looked at Chu Feng with a gentle smile and said, "I am very happy and touched that you can say that, but my decision is not solely because Rongrong is coming back. The company indeed needs to grow, and the provincial capital is a market we need to secure. I have been thinking about this for a long time."

Chu Feng looked at Cui Jingyan for five seconds and then said, "Sister Yan, regardless of your thoughts, can we discuss this when I return from the USA?"

Cui Jingyan looked at Chu Feng, nodded, and replied, "Okay. I’ll wait for you to come back."

After Cui Jingyan left, Chu Feng felt burdened. Some things were destined to happen; he just hadn’t expected them to come this soon.

Chu Feng sat in his chair for an hour without moving. Cui Jingyan, watching him from upstairs, felt moved and sweet but also a trace of resentment.
