Chapter 109: Elisa coming up, part 1 r18
Aric, Ariel, Elisa and Pentharis took a walk through the streets of the town, the town was pretty neat and calm. Besides the fact that they now knew that the Baron was a shithead that extorted from the people, they didn’t see anything majorly wrong with the town.
They walked aimlessly for a few hours, not speaking to anyone, or doing anything, just looking at the sights until the sun began to say goodbye to the town, darkness soon started encroaching.
"We should head back now," Ariel said. They all agreed and decided to head back to the inn, but they were interrupted as a group of five men came out of the alleys and stood in front of them.
Each of the men was well-built, tall with broad shoulders that pressed against the fabric of their clothes. Their eyes shined with a sinister light, their grins all the way to their ears.
Swords rested at their waists, dangling side to side as they moved. Aric and the group were forced to stop seeing these people.
"It’s pretty dangerous to be walking out at this time of day you know," the one at the center spoke, and from where he stood, Aric was assaulted by a smell of alcohol somehow mixed with onion and garlic.
Aric subconsciously took a step back with a frown, that smell was supposed to be a weapon, his eyes watered from it.
"The sun just went over the horizon, and you are already here to steal, why don’t you get a job or something. You aren’t the only ones suffering in the town after all," Aric spoke, his tone dropped with disdain, he sized the man up from head to toe.
The man was furious after seeing the way Aric spoke to him, he stepped closer and leaned in close to Aric, he opened his mouth to say something and immediately Aric lost it, as the smell from the man’s mouth traveled out and hit Aric again.
"For fuck’s sake, step away from me," Aric said, filled with irritation and anger, he threw an earth-coated punch that slammed into the face of the man, sending him flying into the arms of his followers.
"Your breath smells like something that should be a forbidden spell, don’t you dare bring that mouth close to me again," Aric spoke, his chest heaving up and down in anger, he was really pissed.
"Seems they managed to piss master Aric off," Pentharis said.
"That’s unlucky for them," Ariel responded.
"You bloody bastard, I’ll make you pay for that," the man roared, blood dropped down his nose like a faucet. He pointed at Aric furiously. "Kill him," he ordered his men.
The four men moved without any hesitation, wanting to take down Aric, they all pulled their swords, moving in a simple formation.
But Aric had no time for this, he pointed his hands forward and immediately formed boulders, a smile crept up on his face as he looked at the men.
"Don’t mess with me," he said, and forced the boulders, the rocks smashed into the men with full force, sending them flying backwards, slamming into the ground with multiple broken bones.
They all groaned in severe pain, unable to move in the slightest. Aric turned his attention to the leader who was now staring at Aric with fear in his eyes.
"You, you are a mage?" he asked, his voice stuttering, he retreated slowly, his eyes pinned on Aric to make sure that Aric wouldn’t do anything to him.
But then, Aric didn’t need to be close or move his body to cast, as vines with thorns shot out of the ground and wrapped around the man. The thorns immediately stabbed into his skin, causing an immense amount of pain.
The man’s eyes went white and he passed out immediately from the pain.
"Tsk, weak," Aric said and turned away, "we should leave, the commotion must have drawn attention," Aric said. They all nodded and quickly fled the scene.
When people came out, they were shocked by the scene before them. They all knew this group of men, they acted like a gang, and did whatever they wanted, but now it seemed they had been humbled by someone.
[....]
When Aric got back to his room, he washed up and went to his bed, seated with only his trousers, his beautifully fit body shined under the light of the moon that managed to seep in.
He was about to open the system interface to check some things, when he was interrupted by a knock at the door.
He got up from the bed and walked to the door, he didn’t ask who it was and simply opened it. As the door swung open, he saw Elisa standing there, her arms wrapped in an unusual way that made her look small and vulnerable.
She stared at the ground, with a slight blush that was hidden within the darkness.
"Elisa, what’s going on?" Aric asked as normal.
She looked up slowly, and her gaze met with Aric’s in a soft way. Aric’s heart skipped a beat immediately, he didn’t know why, but the way she looked made him weak in the knees.
He stepped back subconsciously, and she took a step into the room, she shut the door herself and twisted the key.
Aric was still wondering what the hell was going on right now.
"I know I said I would wait until after you have finished your fight with the terror, but I can’t. I see you getting busier every day and getting closer to Ariel, and yet I’m still here.
I’m not going to allow myself to lose you like that," she said and then looked up in a way that made Aric scared for his life.
Without hesitation, she removed all her clothes, allowing them to fall to the ground, the dim light of the moon outlined her beautiful shape, her silky smooth skin, and frail body.
Aric swallowed hard, as he felt a rush of blood heading for his lower regions.
