Chapter 101: Chapter 101: Spencer

Aurora nervously licked her lips and argued back,

"But...but...don’t you think... it’s inappropriate for you to ask such a question from a lady?"

Young Master Berrycloth was silent for a long while before saying,

"You are not the real Aurora Waters."

Aurora: "..." So Sharp?

Aurora felt like a failure. If the transmigration community had a group chat, all of them would condemn her for her performance.

Exposed on the very first day of her transmigration.

Tsk...tsk!

"Hey, Young Master Berrycloth, I don’t know what type of relationship I had with you, but can you not strip me of my identity? Especially when I have amnesia."

Young Master Berrycloth remained silent. His silver eyes shone under the light, making them look mysterious.

Aurora was dazed by Berrycloth’s handsome appearance.

Sensing her gaze, Young Master Berrycloth asked in coldly tone,

"What are you looking at?"

Aurora blinked and replied,

"Nothing...just...don’t you think you are a unloved child?"

"Eh?" Young master Berrycloth, who was looking ahead with a cold expression, felt baffled.

"I mean, who names their children Berrycloth?" Aurora questioned as she tilted her head.

Then, before giving a chance for Berrycloth to react, Aurora continued,

"Just imagine your father bringing berries from the market in cloth and placing them in the kitchen. And then order you ’Hey Berrycloth, go and bring berries placed in the cloth.’ Haha!"

Aurora clutched her stomach as she laughed.

Young Master Berrycloth: "..."

The temperature inside the car dropped to a freezing point.

"Cheeze! Why did the temperature suddenly decrease? Did the driver adjust the temperature?" Aurora muttered.

Driver, on the other hand, was sweating profusely and cursed Aurora in his mind,

’What has happened to Miss Waters? Can’t she see that the source of the low temperature is sitting beside her?’

He coughed and brought Aurora’s attention on himself,

"Miss Waters, Young Master’s name is Spencer. His full name is Spencer Berrycloth."

Aurora: "..." Oh! So I misunderstood him.

Turning toward Spencer, who with a dark expression was glaring at her, Aurora gave an awkward smile and said,

"Spencer? What a beautiful name!"

Spencer turned his face away and calmly replied,

"Indeed. By the way, Miss Aurora, have you ever been to Iceland?"

"Eh? Nope." Aurora shook her head.

"Good. Otherwise, when it’s time for the northern lights to appear, your father will have to pat on your back and say, ’Hey Aurora, see Aurora lights!’ That would be too funny." Spencer gave a fake laugh.

Aurora: "..." Vengeful spirit.

Suppressing her anger, she smiled widely and said,

"Oh yeah? Spencer, I must say, your sense of humor is truly lacking. If someday you will need lessons, come and meet me."

Spencer waved his hand,

"It’s alright. If I learnt from you, not even penguins will laugh at my jokes."

Aurora: "..." Sharp tongue b*stard!

In the end, due to anger, Aurora averted her gaze and looked at the passing scenery with a dazed look.

Colorful trees, busy individuals, and the cool breeze- almost everything was similar to her past life.

The only difference was the color of the trees and the clothing style.

Forests that were dominated by green trees before now had colorful blue, pink, and even red trees.

What astonished her more was the advanced technology.

The suits of the individuals had a button which, on clicking, activated the protective sleeves and a face mask covering the individual’s face, protecting them from the heat.

The high-rise buildings and the shops on the streets were made of metal-like material and glistened under the sunlight.

Just then, a rumbling sound came from her stomach.

Aurora’s face slowly turned red. With a mechanical movement, she looked at Spencer, who was looking at her with a meaningful gaze.

’If the earth could swallow me, right I would thank it 20 times.’ Aurora thought as she maintained a poker face.

"Stop by a restaurant," Spencer ordered.

The driver immediately replied,

"Sir, just further ahead on the left is Imperial Dining, and the right intersection is Joe’s Diner. Both of them taste great, but the latter is cheaper than the former. Which should I go for?"

Aurora, thinking about her bank balance, immediately said,

"Don’t find a too fancy one, I don’t like fancy food."

Spencer raised an eyebrow and said,

"I was about to treat, but since Miss Aurora wants to eat less fancy food then..."

Aurora instantly moved closer to Spencer and hugged his hand,

"Men who have even the slightest bit of chivalry are destined to achieve great feats in their life. Let’s go to Imperial Dining."

Spencer tried his best to suppress the rising corner of his mouth and ordered,

"Let’s go to Imperial Dining."

His gaze then involuntarily fell on Aurora, who was holding his hand and looking at him with starry eyes.

Her beautiful red hairlocks grazed her cheeks, as a beautiful spread on her lips. Even her gray eyes were shining as if the moon had bestowed its shine.

Spencer’s heart skipped a beat.

Mesmerizing. Gorgeous.

Was Aurora Waters always so beautiful?

Before Spencer had the time to dwell on the question, the car came to a halt, followed by the driver’s voice,

"Master, we have reached."

With a second, Aurora withdrew her hand and opened the door to exit.

"Let’s go!" She didn’t forget to remind.

Spencer was stunned by her speed.

He looked at his empty hand and the heartless girl who was standing outside the car, waiting outside with an impatient expression.

Spencer: "..."

Taking a deep breath, he got out and followed behind her.

Aurora looked at a glass building with a huge signboard on which ’Imperial Dining’ was written with neon lights and sighed at its beauty.

At the top of the building was a rotating crystal chandelier that shimmered under the sunlight, casting colorful reflections on the pristine glass surface.

The entrance was adorned with intricate golden carvings, exuding an air of luxury.

Aurora couldn’t help but gulp.

She turned to Spencer, who stood beside her with his usual cold expression, his hands tucked neatly in his coat pockets.

"Are you sure you want to eat here?" she asked, feigning concern.
