Chapter 937: Chapter 220 Dragon Clan’s Private Affairs
Richard extended his right hand adorned with three rings, scattering a dark brooding light. The ghostly Xu Dela mounted on the eerie Tide Lord Gerein burst out from the sphere of light.
"Riding on Gerein, there is no mountain I can’t climb. Even without the Fire Phoenix as my magic pet, I am still one of the finest shamans of Bimon," Richard chuckled, "Don’t bother going to Tamerlarya to look for traces of battle anymore. The vast snow mountains stretch for thousands of miles, and ravines and chasms are too numerous to count. Believe it or not, there’s nothing I can do about it."
"We really appreciate you sharing this information with us. We will report the matter of the Hell Black Dragon to the lord of Dragon City as soon as possible. However, Daisy and Ruona must be called back, this is beyond doubt. Hurry up and set a time for us!" The Seven-Colored Dragon Ibrahim refused to give in, almost angering Richard to death.
"How amusing. Do you really think Daisy is my magic pet? Now that I have the Fire Phoenix, how could I take a second magic pet?" Richard began to make a scene, "The two of them are merely my military and alchemy advisors!"
"This..." The Ibrahimovic couple was also a bit confused about the situation. Shaman could only have one magic pet, a rule as immutable as death. Unlike apprentices who could be sought all one’s life, potentially finding a second apprentice inevitably, magic pets did not work that way.
"So tell me, how do you expect me to call them back right now?" Richard said, smirking triumphantly.
"Ruona is an alchemy prodigy, didn’t she leave you any simple magic communication tools?" Fairy Dragon Luna snorted coldly, "Mr. Richard, stop talking. I always sense a bit of conspiracy in your words. All you need to do now is call them back, as for how, I think that’s your own affair."
"You seem to be pushing it a bit too far," Richard pointed to the Fire Phoenix and Gerein in the sky and said, "Even though the Bimon Kingdom may not be all that powerful, it is not a place that just anyone can trample upon!"
"Two super-level Warcraft!" Fairy Dragon Luna clicked her tongue in admiration. "But what use is having more in number? It might not be enough."
"For the descendants of the Holy Giant Dragon, there is no creature on the Aegean Continent to fear," said the Seven-Colored Dragon Ibrahim with a tone so proud it seemed mocking. The habitual flick of his fingers emphasized his disdain and scorn, "That includes the Bimon shamans with super-level magic pets, even though you’re a young talent favored by Master Puskas, it doesn’t change my true opinion of you."
The stands erupted into an uproar. These two from Dragon City had already revealed their contempt for Bimon in their speech, and now uttering such words in the royal city of Bimon, it was something no person of Bimon with any pride could tolerate.
"Dragon City couple, we Bimon have a saying—’Ants in great numbers can kill Orephin.’ If this were the era of the Great War between gods and demons, ten thousand of our Bimon Ant tribe worker soldiers standing up would be enough to make any knight lose the courage to face them alone! Overconfidence is arrogance! A single Bimon warrior can slash off a piece of dragon scale, and a thousand Bimon warriors can dismember a Giant Dragon!" Richard’s cunningness surfaced. He knew he had to muddy the waters to avoid a difficult situation today.
"To the Dragon Clan, strength is the only thing that speaks!" The Seven-Colored Dragon Ibrahim smiled coldly, "Let me speak the truth. Besides the stupid Giant Beasts willing to become your mounts, have you ever seen a Giant Dragon in history who became a mount to you Bimon?"
"Dragon City couple, have you come to Sabak just to repeatedly insult the dignity of us Bimon warriors?" The language trap set by Richard worked. Hearing the Seven-Colored Dragon demean Bimon time and again, even if it was true, the king felt angry. The voice of King Grecke Sal bore an unmistakable authority, "Even without Bimon Giant Beast knights, the Bimon Kingdom remains a race that will not be bullied! If it truly comes to that, Richard! Jose! The two of you show them what it means to respect your opponent as a way of respecting yourself!"
"Battle is something every member of the Dragon Clan enjoys, second only to Gold Coins. I too have long wanted to test the abilities of the two Bimon shamans," boomed the Seven-Colored Dragon Ibrahim, clearly eager to try.
"Lord Ibrahim of the Seven-Colored Dragon, Richard is already powerful enough to be a match for you. I hope you will not keep bringing up the entire Bimon race," Mourinho intervened calmly, much to Richard’s annoyance as he rolled his eyes.
"Correct! Ibrahim, we are here to find Daisy and Nana, not to fight," Fairy Dragon Luna tried to calm her husband.
"Gentlemen always know better how to fight than ruffians," Richard had his provocations down to an art and did not wait for the Seven-Colored Dragon to reply to his wife before firing off his words like rapid gunfire, "The power of the Giant Dragon Clan is relative. If you had no magic, no great strength, no massive bodies, I guarantee you wouldn’t even dare to face a Goblin alone! The Wood Beard Dragon is the very epitome of this! And I lack none of this courage! All Bimon do! What right do you have to threaten me? To threaten a proud emissary of war?"
"Enough! Who would’ve thought that Daisy and Ruona would tell you even this!" The fire rose in the Seven-Colored Dragon, for the jeer hit a sensitive spot in the Dragon Clan. Dragon descendants could indeed be born malformed, though the chances were incredibly slim. These malformed dragons, known as "Wood Beard Dragons," were weak and frail; powerless and magic-less, truly timid as mice. Due to their vulnerability, they were all raised in Rainbow Dragon City and Star Dragon City—a great shame for the Dragon Clan, unknown to the outside world.
