Chapter 903: Chapter 209: Helen’s Time_2

The shamans felt as if the heavens and earth were spinning, the world turned upside down.

Competing in the War Song Halo against a shaman who possessed a drum Artifact was a losing deal. The "Patience of Kui Drum" soaked in liquor could accelerate the heartbeat of the Kui Niu heart with the frequency of the shaman’s drumming. Once the hammering speed reached its limit, the Kui Drum could beat on its own at a rate of 50 to 80 times per minute, which was the normal heart rate of a Kui Niu. This meant that, even if the shaman stopped drumming, the drum would burst into a halo on its own within two minutes.

The dual halo enhancement of the "Patience of Kui Drum" was not limitless, however. When making the war drum, a Kui Niu Magic Crystal had to be embedded inside. One Kui Niu’s Magic Crystal could support five "Slow-witted Songs" and five "Endurance Songs." The natural cooldown for the Magic Crystal’s mana regeneration was two hours. Unfortunately, due to the increasingly large tremors of Helen’s "Patience of Kui Drum" drumhead, the crane feather drum robes hanging on the drum wall were occasionally lifted by the sound waves, revealing the luxurious contents inside.

Everyone could clearly see through the fluttering feather robe the densely packed Magic Crystals on the walls of this divine drum, sparkling and vanishing under the sunlight, dazzling and mesmerizing.

Exclamations arose again, recalling the legendary goblin shops for all of Beamon when seeing such an embedding technique. Even goblin traders from ten thousand years ago probably didn’t have such an extravagant embedding method; the area of this war drum was not small, matching the size of a flower bed in diameter.

The shamans’ eyebrows were nearly twisted into ropes. What exactly was this Artifact drum under Helen’s possession? Where did all these Magic Crystals come from, and all of them mid-tier or higher? Just the Magic Crystals on this drum alone would amount to a year or two of the Bimon Kingdom’s Magic Crystal harvesting!

Every shaman knew from the inception of their training that too many Magic Crystals on an amplifier instrument isn’t necessarily a good thing; without infused Song Power, Magic Crystals are like a deaf person’s ears!

With so many Magic Crystals, if all were filled with Song Power, it would be enough for High Priestess Helen to do nothing but infuse Song Power for a year! The shamans did not know that there was something in the world called "Heart of Blood Feather," a rare Magic Crystal that could regenerate mana and store it in subdivisions once infused with base Song Power. Indeed, most of the Magic Crystals in Helen’s Kui Drum were still uncharged, but with "Heart of Blood Feather," these gathering crystals, she could completely recharge all the Song Power in the drum without lifting a finger; all she needed was time!

Just like a young man unaware of the pleasures of the marital bed, the shamans could never appreciate the joy of a sequoia series shaman.

"Thump-thump, thump-thump,"

Accompanied by the trembling war drums that shook the skies, the Artifact, lost to history, brought each shaman closer to their memories. The wind chimes on the Bone Hammer transported everyone into an epic.

Poor Kangaroo High Priest Ali had completely resorted to using "Alina’s Banishing Song" to rid himself of adverse effects. Even though the War Song Halo could not be enhanced a second time, Helen continuously spread the "Dull Halo" and "Endurance Halo" three times around the stone walls for all of Beamon with eyes to see, not to mention the War Song and War Dance Halos she spread!

Helen’s War Dance had become faster and faster, completely surpassing her War Song speed. Behind her light and moving dance moves were the cold sweats breaking out on the backs of every attending shaman.

Her War Dance spreading the Halo was like a wild horse thundering across the open field—once she picked up speed, she was terrifying and deadly! Even without the Artifact drum, the Kangaroo High Priest could not keep up with her rhythm!

Where did she get so much Song Power? Kampas! This girl couldn’t possibly have filled up all the Magic Crystals, could she? The shamans muttered in their hearts, begrudgingly questioning the war god in the unknown.

The military generals, by now, had eyes red as angry bulls. If this young Helen High Priestess could become a staff shaman for a corps of a thousand soldiers, how much would that corps’ combat capability increase?

She was originally a White Robe War Shaman! Although she hadn’t completed the two-year term, the military could have issued a Crimson Summoning Order to draft her into service prematurely!

Once again, an unexpected event occurred. After casting the dual halos three times, Helen’s Bone Hammer burst forth with a glaring white halo.

In the Bimon War Song, there was no white War Song Halo!

Kangaroo High Priest Ali, along with his magical pet, the Morlando Giant Eagle, under this cascade of War Song Halo, spread widely across their bodies, dense, uniformly beautiful skin armor like cloud patterns, not the rough stone armor formed by "Stone Skin Halo," but a crystalline frost grain condensation. The frost flowers formed by the frost grains made the Kangaroo High Priest and the Morlando Giant Eagle into beautiful monsters adorned with Frost Armor.

The Wolf shamans from the Southeastern Province and the jade-green Centaurs all recognized that this armor was identical to the "Salt Frost Skin Armor" typically found on Salt Demon bandits in the Florindo Salt Alkali Forest. However, the Salt Demon’s armor, rough and uneven as though a wild boar had rubbed against pine resin, was ugly. The Kangaroo High Priest and the Morlando Giant Eagle’s Salt Frost Armor was far more exquisite, truly a beautiful elven sculptor’s ice sculpture.
