Chapter 679: Chapter 142 Negotiations_5

"I’d be happy to be of service." Liu Zhenhan grinned.

After Prince Moore witnessed the surface world’s sky, his reaction wasn’t much better than that of the other Moorish elves. When he returned to the underground, he kept looking back at the giant’s hut hiding the Magic Circle while the clump of grass he held tightly in his hand.

"There is a condition for my help in getting you out of the underground," Liu Zhenhan interrupted Prince Benitez before he could speak, laying down his terms. "Since I’m giving you the Magic Circle, there’s no reason for you to continue quarreling with the Buer Tribe of our Tauren brethren. I demand that you terminate the military operations against the four valleys of the giants."

"What if I refuse?" Prince Moore Benitez chuckled lightly. "I really want to know something. Why are you so keen on helping us? Please forgive my skepticism, but for some reason, I suspect your motives aren’t that straightforward."

Prince Benitez fixed Liu Zhenhan with a piercing gaze.

"Look over there." Liu Zhenhan pointed at the Obsidian Sky Bridge over the Strait of Gibraltar.

Following his finger, Prince Moore saw a fearsome hairless giant bird swiftly soaring over the river surface. A Bemon brute from the bird’s back hurled a large bamboo basket down; then came a deafening explosion. A huge red light engulfed the area, rolling flames filled the sky, fire was everywhere on the Obsidian bridge, even sparks that fell on the water surface continued to burn violently. Fragments of the bridge trembled and fell off.

The Moorish Army was thrown into disorder. Several Cow-Eagle People were scared unconscious by the towering flames and great noise and fell straight from the sky. Terrified by the brightness of the fire, the pig-faced troll bats in the sky flew about in panic, shrieking chillingly. They threw off the elves performing the Sword Chant from their saddles, leaving them with bleeding head wounds.

The Taurens’ and the Giants’ faces also turned ashen. Little Nun Joan of Arc turned pale from fear and could hardly stand. She leaned weakly against Gortani’s shoulder.

"Surely magic can wield great power, but it never makes such a clamor. A thunderous boom accompanying the swish of debris flying in the air, along with the terrifying flames, total domination is being demonstrated."

"I was planning to throw that at your army." Liu Zhenhan tapped Prince Moore’s shoulder with a cold smirk while the prince stared in disbelief at the burning bridge.

"Is this a Sea of Fire spell cast by a warrior? No, my eyes must be deceiving me. How can fire continue to burn on water? That’s impossible... can weapons now replace magic?" Prince Benitez barely drew breath between his monotonous questions.

"This weapon is exclusive to me, even on the surface." Liu Zhenhan leaned into the prince’s face, seriously saying. "Declining the olive branch I’m offering is your right, but you must weigh the consequences. If I meant no sincerity, why would I have wasted so many words on you? I could have dropped this pineapple on your head! Don’t push me too far. I have already thought about the worst-case scenario; at most, I’ll take everyone back to the surface world!"

"In reason, you could completely take your people back. Why didn’t you do that? What does this ominous underworld offer you?" Although shaken by the terror of the enemy’s weapons, Prince Benitez’s mind still functioned logically.

"The Cave Dwellers here helped our Buer Tribe of Antelope Men, and the Difeng Giants here helped our Tauren. We must repay the kindness." Liu Zhenhan raised his eyebrows and stated righteously, "If I help you leave the underground, then nobody will come to rob them of their food, and no armies will come to annihilate them annually. Isn’t that the best of both worlds?"

"That’s a pretty solid reason. I know that some lawful good races always like to bear such a ridiculous cause." Prince Moore slightly chuckled, it was uncertain whether it was a sarcastic or a praising comment for Liu Zhenhan. "Once on the surface, we fallen elves will still plunder. Perhaps we will even plunder you Beamon men. Aren’t you just looking for trouble for the surface races?"

"Speaking of troubles... if you are capable of stirring them, by all means, go ahead." Liu Zhenhan appeared sincere yet cunning. "On the Aegean Continent’s surface world, humans are now in charge. If you wish to join Xiang Pa and Emperor Polo, you must prove your worth. Just don’t end up wallowing in the dirt. "

"I’ve heard about your Beamon defeat by the Mank Tribe. From our Moorish data, other than the Manks’ impressive fertility and the presence of an Ape Berserker, they don’t seem all that formidable, right?" Prince Benitez frowned and asked curiously. "May I askRichard the Priest, are your warriors from the Bimon Kingdom’s regular army? How could the Bimon Kingdom lose to the Mank Tribe if they had such an army composition...or perhaps I should ask, why did you lose to humans?"
