Chapter 660: Chapter 139 Fallen Big Series Connection _2

Just when they were wondering, the pouring rain abruptly ceased. Like a thunderstorm, not a drop of rain remained. The sharp corners of the underground sun floating in the sky were adorned with drops of water, making a constant "drip-drop" sound.

Liu Zhenhan and the militia looked at each other in confusion, their minds filled with questions.

"Lord Richard! Maybe we should send someone to the other Difeng Giants’ Valley camps to see what is happening? The attack from the Moorish Army seems off." Duncan, shaking his hefty legs, splattering water as he walked, suggested to Liu Zhenhan.

"Let me drain the water first?" After Duncan’s suggestion, Liu Zhenhan woke up. Seeing his three golden figures and a heap of discarded metal still in the water, the cooling period not yet reached, he rushed to activate his mind, and the three Qin golden figures began to thrash around once again. Their huge bodies, like three giant crushers, created turbulent waves which rushed towards the valley.

After a few rotations, the Qin golden figures reached their cooling time limit and disappeared into the illusion. But their power was indeed impressive. The force of inertia from the rotation of the three loads each weighing 240,000 pounds created a wave of red turbid water that carried a great number of dwarf corpses out of the U-shaped gap. Figo and the few remaining Medusa warriors quickly dodged. The colossal waves, comparable to a tidal wave, churned up a series of splashes and rushed towards the river at the valley mouth.

Liu Zhenhan whistled, calling over Little Black, who descended in front of him, flapping his wings. Liu Zhenhan snapped his fingers at Little Black, "Little Black, you have good vision as an elf, and you know the way. Go with Little Black and check out the other three camps. If you can assist them do so, if not, come back for reinforcements."

"I’ll accompany Little Black!" Ruona teleported herself next to Liu Zhenhan, shaking her space ring and said, "If needed, I can use the Mailman Crystal in my ring to create a Formation. I’m the only one who knows the coordinates for this place, so if the battle gets out of hand, this is the quickest method of calling for reinforcements. You have to let Naga come with me, without her support in mana, it won’t be possible."

"That works too." Liu Zhenhan thought for a moment and then asked, "Do we have enough Mailman Crystal to create another Teleportation Magic Circle?"

"More than enough!" Ruona nodded affirmatively.

"Then hurry up." Liu Zhenhan patted Little Black’s wings and nodded sideways at the three pioneers.

"If the fallen elves are this desperate, I’m afraid even the Iron Chain Formation of the Taurens will not be able to withstand such a ferocious attack." Gude watched Little Black’s rapid flight with worry, "Both units of elves are unlikely to use Water Element magic, so how did they suddenly conjure up such a pouring rain? And the dwarves..."

"I find it strange too!" Liu Zhenhan spat out with fury, "Damn it! My Starry Sky Reflection protective barrier was shattered in the blink of an eye in the face of these lunatics. I’ve never met more reckless opponents, and they have so many tricks up their sleeves!"

"Then why did..." Gude looked perplexed.

"Enough, let me carry out an experiment." Liu Zhenhan pulled out his Mithril Cave Flute, removing the Sword in the Bamboo Flute. He kicked away the piled-up corpses, walking to the place where the Qin golden figures had been thrashing about. This was also where the dwarves had been boiled by the lime water. The place was in chaos after the golden figures rolled over it, with the water being very shallow now. The armored dwarf bodies were embedded in the mud just like flat paper. Red, white, black, a variety of colors coexisted, forming a peculiar abstract painting.

Liu Zhenhan walked a few dozen steps forward, bent down, and used the sword like a shovel. He dug it into the soil and violently stirred, then pulled it out. The half-meter-long triangular sword was covered in moist, chalky substance. The substance was compressed to a very smooth state because of enormous pressure, only a slight piece of mossy leaves protruded in the middle.

"Where is all this chalk powder coming from? I didn’t sprinkle that much!" Liu Zhenhan looked at the Mithril triangular sword in his hand in wonder.

"To defend against invisible Grey Dwarfs and the Dark Magic of the Dark Elves, Flame Mountain Valley spreads chalk powder at irregular intervals throughout the year. These layers build up over time." A deep voice resonated behind Liu Zhenhan.

Liu Zhenhan turned around and saw the Giant Chief Yangkele.

"Be careful, the ground is still wet." Liu Zhenhan cautioned.

"Thank you for your concern, my respected Lord Richard. In fact, we Difeng Giants aren’t as weak as you think. A small amount of water poses no threat to us." Yangkele chuckled, lifting up his terror-inducing boot, and said, "Our boots, made of quality animal skin and gummed with a mixture of child urine and moss malt, are absolutely waterproof. Our fear of water is similar to how the Beamon fear fire. Just as you would struggle if thrown into a fire for an extended period of time, a long immersion in water would prove fatal for us. Fortunately, though many things in this world can’t resist fire, there are plenty that can resist water So, in this regard, we have the upper hand."
