Chapter 562: Chapter 118 - Always on the Edge of Struggle_1

"I haven’t belittled humans for many years." ------------------------- Lord Liu said.

The carnage in the Colosseum continued. Panda warrior Gude fought bare-handed against three brown bears. His burly body looked even stronger than the Greenland Brown Bears. Amid the endless gasps and exclamations of the two clumsy commentators, the fate of the three brown bears had been decided.

"How terrible! Who could kill beasts bare-handed..." Marquis Capello sighed at Gude’s bravery while feeling pained at the loss of the beasts he’d spent a considerable sum to raise for the Colosseum. He saw that Pier warrior had already broken the lower jaw of the last brown bear into two pieces. He could imagine the deafening crunch when the bear’s jaw broke.

"So-called beasts are just that to you humans. To Bimon warriors, they are simply ordinary creatures." Liu Zhenhan touched his nose, "When these beasts encounter more formidable beings than them, their level of fear is no different from that of a timid rabbit."

"It’s our turn, honorable Dragon Priest Richard." Dragon Knight Gaxia took a deep breath, stood up, and looked solemn.

"If I give you back the Saintess Joan of Arc, and admit my defeat, could you help me communicate with the Archbishop of Valencia and ask him for a small favor?" Liu Zhenhan asked cheerfully.

"Admit defeat?" Dragon Knight Gaxia was full of suspicion and bewilderment, "The gladiator fight hasn’t even begun, why would you surrender?"

"I can’t defeat you, what else could I do if I didn’t surrender?" Liu Zhenhan shrugged and made an innocent gesture, "Gladiator fights can be lethal; I’m afraid of dying."

"Lies are the devils of Hell; I can tell from your words, they are insincere." The young nun fixed her eyes on Liu Zhenhan.

Liu Zhenhan averted her gaze as Guoguo on his shoulder stuck out his tongue at the young nun---This thieving creature went back to his old ways after having his fill, just like he did with Gortani.

"This ..." Dragon Knight Gaxia pondered, her eyebrows knitted together.

"That would be the best! That would be the best!" Marquis Capello quickly intervened, looking to smooth things over. A fight between the two dragons was a rare spectacle, but if it were to spiral out of control, it could lead to an international dispute. Offending either side was not a good idea.

"Lord Richard, your course of action ..." The two Pier priests were somewhat taken aback, as a Bimon, how could one back down in the face of a fight?

The human Holy Knights were equally disdainful; shrinking from a fight before it had even started was the mark of a coward. They started to question how the Golden Palm Holy Knight, Dragon Knight Lampard, had ever managed to lose to this guy.

"Okay then, I accept your surrender. What business do you have with the red-robed bishop?" Despite her confusion, Dragon Knight Gaxia still enjoyed the feeling of a Dragon Priest submitting to her.

"I would like your high-ranking priests to use the ’Holy Purification’ to purify my body, and to aid me in using ’Holy Restoration’ to transfer a girl’s soul back to her own body." Liu Zhenhan politely requested.

"These two high-ranking spells, the red-robed bishop of Dorott Duchy might not be able to cast." Dragon Knight Gaxia twitched her lips in disapproval, "Besides, as you have insulted our candidate Saintess, this score cannot be settled simply by surrendering. Your plea for help as a Dragon Priest does not mean the Vatican has forgiven your behavior. As for your request, forgive me but I can’t relay it for you. If the inquisitors from the Vatican Inquisition come looking for you, I would accompany them again to witness your power."

"Damn it!" Liu Zhenhan swore.

"Swearing is a desecration of language. God gives us language to allow us to become the Wisdom Race, not for us to use it to form vulgar combinations." The young nun fixed her gaze on Liu Zhenhan.

Liu Zhenhan was left dumbfounded.

"Let’s go, Saint Joan of Arc. This sinner has fallen into the darkest abyss in Hell," Dragon Knight Gaxia extended her hand towards the young nun.

"Dear Gaxia, forgive me for refusing. This sinful Bimon must be redeemed, and I will do my utmost to enlighten him," the young nun said with determination.

Liu Zhenhan was most afraid of this sentence.

"Saint Joan, your father will be arriving here soon. I have no right to interfere with your freedom, but I believe your father is likely going to advise you against this unnecessary course of action. In order to protect your safety, I will leave all of the Holy Knights here to guard you," Dragon Knight Gaxia nodded politely, "I must bid you farewell as I have a slight matter to attend to."

"God bless the world." The young nun bowed.

"Farewell my Lord!" The Holy Knights bowed in unison.

Count Totti, who was rushing over, and Dragon Knight Gaxia who was leaving happened to cross paths. The expression on the Dragon Knight’s face was arrogant and detached, not giving Totti a glance. Count Totti quickly stepped aside to let the Dragon Knight pass first, then shot his uncle a glance.

"Come have a chat." Liu Zhenhan pulled Marquis Capello aside, and gestured for Count Totti to join with a crook of his little finger.

"Lord, what is this..." Marquis Capello was unsure of Liu Zhenhan’s intentions and asked as his eyes darted around.

"Tell me what’s going on." Liu Zhenhan stared blankly, "Don’t tell me it’s a coincidence. Dorott is only a tiny nation, and yet two Dragon Knights, one after the other, have come here. How is this possible?"
