Chapter 561: Chapter 117: Dance of the Mythical Beast_3

The Holy Knights stared at Gude’s carrot-thick fingers with a daze, realizing just how huge and terrifying these Beamons were only when standing close to them.

"And me!"

"Me too!"

The militiamen joined the clamor. Fat Luo and Fat Ao’ were the loudest. Ao’ waved around his fake Wrath of Thor, his face filled with agitation and an intense desire for attention.

"Enough!" Ning Yu, the abbey owner, became serious. It wasn’t time for a proper confrontation yet. If things got out of control because of their rabble-rousing, it would be problematic.

"Distinguished Mr. Capello, how many beasts do you have left?" Liu Zhenhan asked.

"We have a few hibernating Greenland brown bears and a few lions." Count Totti responded with a smile.

"Let’s not bother with turns anymore. Wake all those hibernating bears, Gude, you take them on single-handedly. The rest can deal with my Figo; he’s been here for a while now, it’s time for him to see some blood." Moer flicked her little hand, wiping out the militiamen’s requests to join the fight.

"Let’s do as she says." Liu Zhenhan nodded in agreement.

Count Totti immediately agreed and left to prepare. Marquis Capello, now the only one left, treaded lightly as to not offend anyone. Both parties had shown up unexpectedly, so it was important not to incur the wrath of either. The staff quickly brought some exquisite snacks. Guoguo was eating and grabbing, stuffing her pouch until full, her chubby face filled with joy.

The number of spectators in the stands had increased significantly. Dragon Knight Gaxia furrowed her brows but said nothing.

"Today, the Goethe Grand Theater is having the Antonio Royal Theater Company performing the luxurious finale opera ’The Last Cavalry,’ but when people heard there’s a match in the Colosseum, they might all come here. The soldiers I brought are currently preventing them from entering." Marquis Capello carefully relayed to the displeased Gaxia, the Dragon Knight.

"Enjoying the competition is their right. Do not incite a revolt. Let them in instead. You can donate a portion of the ticket revenue to the poor relief house run by our abbey," The Dragon Knight Gaxia responded with a faint smile.

"Of course... of course..." Marquis Capello was filled with uncertainty. It was not unusual for the Beamon’s Overlord to show up, but having the Dragon Knight of the Oak Leaf Knights made it strange. He was tempted to ask what was going on but held his curiosity back in the end.

In some cases, it might not be beneficial to know everything.

Surprised by the financial acumen of the Holy Knight, Liu Zhenhan and the ladies took another good look at this beautiful female Dragon Knight.

Gude and Moer stood up together. Led by the maiden, they headed towards the backstage passageway.

"Is she going to fight the wild beasts too? Oh god! She’s so brave!" The little nun was so excited that she was sweating profusely while watching Moer’s figure.

"You’ve gone overboard this time!" Ning Yu quietly admonished near Liu Zhenhan’s ears with a strong hint of reproach in her tone.

Liu Zhenhan could only bitterly smile and was speechless, he himself was beginning to regret his actions. He felt regret not because of the adversary’s powerful father or the Holy Knight, but purely for his own behavior. However, what’s already done is done. What should he say now---------------

"You’d rather lose your life than lose your face." Nana smiled and remarked.

"That’s sadly true," Liu conceded.

Everyone busted into laughter.

Moer elegantly flew to the middle of the circular battleground below, she was the first to enter. Her divine beauty caused the audience in the stand to gape, even the dwarf commentator and the female host on the stage were speechless for a long time, leaving only heavy breathing sounds to echo from the amplifying formation.

With several "clack" sounds, the metal doors of the four beast dens on the north side rose. Accompanied by the sound of cracking whips, four hungry lions slowly emerged from their dens, emitting low growls. Blood threads hung from their mouths. The beasts of the Colosseum were usually only fed a small portion of their food portions to maintain their ferocity; long periods of semi-starvation made these creatures most brutal.

With a "bang", the metal gates of the beast dens slammed shut.

At this point, there were at least three to four thousand spectators gathered in the stands, their cheers roaring, the enormous wave of sounds in the circular Colosseum gathering an even greater energy.

This gladiator fight made the blood of all the spectators boil. In the past, only strong slave fighters had the right to fight against ferocious beasts, but seeing a frail but beautiful girl take the stage today made it all the more thrilling.

The little nun in the VIP stand held tightly onto her clothes, her whole body trembling, but her eyes never left the Colosseum below, continuously crossing herself and muttering to herself.

Moer looked around at the surrounding environment. On the vast marble floor, apart from the dark, aged bloodstains, there were many scars from the weapons on top. She was pleased with this place. Figo’s size in this large playground-like Colosseum would not be restrained.

Perhaps spurred on by the cheers of the audience, the four lions roared almost simultaneously. The wild sound suppressed all the surrounding clamor.

Moer waved her hand and released Figo from the space ring. Tide Lord Gerein also came out with him. Each of them had a stack of large plaques carved from wood in their hands. Figo’s face was covered in post-its, his weapons and armor piled at his side, and he was only wearing a warrior suit, still picking at his big feet with his fingers.

The cheer around came to a halt all of a sudden, it was completely choked off.

Moer put Gerein back into the ring and pointed at the four lions for Figo.

Banilou warrior Figo abruptly stood up and the Colosseum broke into a tumult.

So terrifying! There’s such a terrible and strong warrior!

Aside from the Dragon Knight Gaxia, the faces of the other holy knights twitched as if they had a stroke. They vaguely guessed that this was a Banilou warrior, but how could a Whale Warrior from the sea get ashore?

Even Marquis Capello, a man of deep tact, was taken aback. Turns out, this Beamon Overlord, after two major battles with Dorott Duchy, had never given it his all.

Looking at Liu Zhenhan’s eyes, there was first a sense of reverence, then it turned into deep fear.

The four lions retreated at the same time. In front of the Whale Warrior’s huge body, they were no different from a small mouse standing in front of a large cat.

Figo smirked, and there was a noise like a series of creaking bones throughout his body. His body gradually shrunk down to only three blades in height, reducing his height by half.

The four hesitant lions glanced at each other. With their intellect, it was clear they couldn’t quite understand why their huge opponent had suddenly become half its size.

"What... what kind of martial technique is this?" Dragon Knight Gaxia on the VIP stand couldn’t help but ask.

"This is the Sea Clan’s Octopus Warrior’s ’Soft Bone Technique.’ My Whale Warrior here used to be the Chief of the Imperial Guard, hence he also learned this crude martial technique. An Octopus Warrior, despite weighing five hundred pounds, could use ’Soft Bone Technique’ to fit through a hole the size of a gold coin. For my Whale Warrior, he is not as skilled and can only reduce his body by half for a short period." Overlord Beamon humbly explained. However, his expression seemed to have nothing to do with humility.

Before Liu Zhenhan could finish his words, Figo had completed his task.

The guy rudely pulled out his giant sword and stepped forward. The audience in the stands only felt a sharp whistle of the wind, in the Colosseum, this giant-like warrior had already knocked two lions with a swing of his sword and kicked another one flying. The kicked lion directly flew into the stands, causing a huge commotion. Luckily the lion had already been kicked into two parts by him. The chaos didn’t last long. One lion escaped, the Colosseum was huge, and it made the right choice.

Figo sprayed a huge water pillar out of his mouth, striking the running lion like a heavy iron rod. The poor running lion was knocked back several steps and rammed heavily into the marble wall. When it fell, it dragged a long trail of blood.

"Magic and martial dual cultivation!" the Holy Knights exclaimed in surprise.

"What magic and martial dual cultivation? Which whale can’t spray some water from its mouth?" Liu Zhenhan laughed heartily.

The confidence in Dragon Knight Gaxia’s eyes was gradually fading away.
