Chapter 553: Chapter 116 Saintess _2

Richard Liu picked a long table and plopped down on it. He looked around, the decorating style here was similar to the Treehouse Bar, but it was much more spacious - the perquisites of being in a big city. All the stools were made from the original tree stumps, so Richard Liu felt relieved. After all, on the way here, Fat Luo had already broken quite a few stools and chairs due to his weight.

There were also many mercenaries here, at least forty to fifty of them. They were either flirting with the dancing girls or huddled up playing bridge. Richard Liu did not even bother to take a closer look at them. They were just minor characters.

"Don’t tell me we don’t have any money?" General Pan looked at the dumbfounded bartender and asked.

"Uh...uh..." The bartender stuttered for quite a while, but he couldn’t formulate a coherent response.

A middle-aged man who looked to be in his early forties, possibly the boss, quickly approached, nodded politely to General Pan, and then asked Richard Liu, "What may I assist you with, Sir Beamon?"

"Sunflowers, figs, malt wine. We have a large party, just bring them out," Richard Liu cheerfully responded, "Oh, and have that bard sing me a ’Romeo and Juliet’."

"Right away." The middle-aged man glanced complexly at the little nun, then at Richard Liu. He nodded, politely turned around and left.

The noise in the bar resumed at this point, but it was clearly less uninhibited and rowdy than before.

Richard Liu placed a glass of amber malt wine in front of the little nun, who was sitting next to him.

The little nun was still staring at him, with a gaze that could make Richard Liu impotent.

Several madam’s all huddled up laughing, even Gortani couldn’t help but smile.

This laughter captivated the mercenaries. Humans and Beamons look rather similar, aside from some racial traits such as Helen’s tail, Gortani and Moer’s wings, their aesthetic views were the same. Seeing so many beautiful women laughing together, the bar instantly warmed up as if it was spring. Added with the delicate fragrances of the beauties, especially the fox smell from Helen, the mercenaries in the bar were utterly intoxicated. This kind of natural scent from the beauties was incomparable to the cheap perfumes used by dancing girls. As a result, all eyes turned to these Beamon beauties. The dancing girls looked at them with envy and admiration, while the mercenaries had lustful gazes in their eyes.

Except for a few drunks who staggered over to join in, the majority of the mercenaries tactfully assessed the situation. The mere sight of Fat Luo pulling out his long knife and wiping it with a cloth soaked in malt wine was enough to let them know that they shouldn’t mess with this group of Beamon. So, one mercenary after another started to leave the bar.

Since they were drunks, Richard Liu didn’t pay them much attention. They were promptly knocked unconscious by Gude with a single punch and thrown out the door. What bothered him was how to deal with this little nun. It was absolutely wrong to use force, but if he didn’t do something, this little girl would keep trailing closely after him.

Richard Liu, who normally didn’t believe in such matters of the heart, found himself praying loudly in the Beamon language to the God of War. He hoped that this girl wasn’t being shielded by any important figure of the Holy Vatican, as he needed their help with something at the moment.

"If this pretty little girl happens to be someone else’s lover, then we are screwed." O’Neal’s words immediately earned him glares from the two Pier priests.

Richard Liu also glared at O’Neal as he found these words grating to his ears.

"That’s not what I meant!" O’Neal suddenly realized he had stepped on a hornet’s nest and hurriedly explained.

Helen fiercely twisted the ear of the hippo-poet. The little fox was the most resentful when someone mentioned her and Richard. The more O’Neal said such things, the angrier she got.

"Don’t make assumptions. This little nun doesn’t seem to be that type of person." Ning Yu looked at O’Neal slightly annoyance.

"Shameless!" The little nun finally spoke up after a long time, in perfect Beamon language.

Richard Liu’s sweat dripped as a cold realization hit him. He had made a big fool of himself. He had thought that when he was praying in the Beamon language, this little girl definitely would not understand. But it turned out that she spoke it even more fluently than him. His accent even had a northeast dialect tone, but she spoke with the perfect Sabak accent.

"Little miss, can you stop following me, please? Do you want compensation? I can compensate you! How much do you want?" Richard Liu was begging for mercy for the first time, and it was to a little girl.

The little nun did not respond; her gaze was still the same, making Richard Liu feel like he was punching into a pile of cotton.

Katusha jumped out from Gortani’s arms and trotted over to the little nun on the table. Her little tail curled while her mouth pouted high.

The little nun put the bible down and laughed as she picked up Katusha. Richard Liu sat next to them with a face that was expecting a commotion. Katusha was notorious for being wild.

Everyone knew about this. The mercenaries and several Madams all wanted to see what the innocent-looking little nun’s expression would be like in the next moment.

Much to their disappointment, Katusha burrowed into the little nun’s arms, licked the little nun’s fingers, and then settled down. The little nun cracked the sunflowers seeds and fed the kernels to Katusha. Katusha ate with gusto, lying on her back with her belly up, behaving as nicely as possible.

Richard Liu and a few madams could only stare in disbelief, their sunglasses removed.
