Chapter 222: Chapter 32: Emerald of the Wasteland_2
The Bear Goblins also came to their senses, seizing this opportunity to gang up and deal with the isolated ogres. Although they lack the clarity in division of duties and fluency like the Mastiff People, the Bear Goblins managed to find a good chance to fight back among the ogres who had been scattered by the panda warriors.
Karu was particularly crafty, following behind the two young masters, picking up easy fights, killing with an awesome air.
Gradually, the surrounding ogres retreated into a circle, crowding together tightly, looking nervously at the Beamon-like devils who were chasing after them.
Not until then did many ogres realize that they still didn’t know why the Beamons and Bear Goblins were attacking them.
The pandas and Mastiff People stopped their pursuit, a group of around forty people surrounding around two hundred ogres.
Under the pressure of the pandas and Mastiff People, each ogre stumbled backwards until there was no room for retreat.
The panda warriors still had the same flushed faces from inebriation, their spears casually resting on their shoulders; the barehanded Mastiff People were panting slightly, their corners of mouth dripping a thick blue liquid.
The sternness in their eyes made the wilderness feel like winter had come early; their gazes made the ogres feel as though they were guinea pigs in front of the sharp teeth of Cave Wolves.
The Bear Goblin slaves instinctively ran to the outskirts. They didn’t feel they belonged in that place.
The trolls with broken arms became the objects of the Bear Goblins’ ridicule. Some Bear Goblins even rode on these trolls who were lying on the ground, causing a burst of laughter.
Seeing the ogres gathered together with weapons in their hands, Liu Zhenhan became anxious. He pulled out a trident hidden in his bow, and a curved knife from behind his back, and ran over. Seeing their lord come, the Bear Goblins immediately jumped off the trolls and behaved politely.
Trolls who were still crawling in pain on the ground were cut down by Liu Zhenhan’s curved knife, like giant trees felled by an axe.
"Let me join in!" Liu Zhenhan raised his jade ring and spoke to Gude.
"Boss, there’s no point!" Gude drove his Demon Hunter Spear into the ground and pulled out two spears from behind him. "Damn it! If these guys don’t surrender, let us Beamons turn these ogres into skewers!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Guoguo’s ears perked up. He immediately dropped the stack of things in his hands, hugged Katusha, and slapped the piglet on the butt, suddenly there was a burst of water arrows. Like a sickle cutting grass, another large area of ogres were cut down.
If it weren’t for Gude quickly twisting Guoguo’s ears, the little one seemed like it would never stop.
Guoguo made a face at Gude, made a cigar-smoking gesture at his mouth, and then opened his hand. Katusha in his arms was also nodding her head, her chubby little tail wagging in a circle.
Gude was wearing a half-smoking butt on his ear; it was the left-over "locust head" that Liu Zhenhan had smoked yesterday.
"Little things! I’ll definitely tell your two mothers after we get home. Saying that you started a fight today without being fed! That’s against your rules! Let’s see how they’ll punish you two!" Gude rolled his eyes dramatically.
Guoguo gave Gude a middle finger with a wrinkled nose.
The militia burst into collective laughter.
The female ogres were completely devastated. If your enemy on the battlefield can spare the time to casually converse, it proves that they are confident of victory.
"We surrender!" As if waking from a dream, one of the ogres yelled, throwing all their clubs to the ground.
"Obischillaci! They just surrendered like that?" Liu Zhenhan felt a little bit dissatisfied. He hadn’t even released the Golden Figures, and they all surrendered.
"Karu, start ransacking." Liu Zhenhan grabbed an ogre slave’s ear and kicked him in the ass.
The ogres were even poorer than the Bear Goblins. Despite searching all the tents, they didn’t find anything valuable. Not even human slaves, because any living creature is food for the ogres.
They did find lots of dry meat. But looking at the hair pores on it, Liu Zhenhan felt more and more that it didn’t look like animal meat.
After careful examination, Liu Zhenhan didn’t have the courage to take the meat back as food.
Finally, they counted the remaining people. Originally there were over a hundred Bear Goblins, now only sixty-four remained, each with injuries, although not serious. They captured exactly around two hundred ogres. The Beamons and Mastiff People caused half of the ogres to fall, and Guoguo and Katusha’s efforts were also spectacular.
They left with over a hundred slaves, didn’t loot anything, and in the blink of an eye nearly three hundred mouths demanded food. Liu Zhenhan was furious.
"So what use are you to me?" Liu Zhenhan glared at the female ogres, fuming, "You’re robbers? Pah! Even beggars are better than you! Tell me! What else can you do? If you can’t answer, you’re all done for!"
