The incident happened quite abruptly. After the adventure team had lured out Moria leeches using shell coins as they normally did and everyone had formed up in their battle array to attack, Baojia did not expect to hear a cry of surprise from Bauman coming from behind them.

As a supply unit personnel, the Lich girl was not supposed to be near the battlefield. Everyone in the team knew she practically had no combat power and little defensive ability. Minor injuries that others might brush off could be fatal to her. Therefore, she was required to stand guard with the duty staff at the camp during battles.
