Boiling Beast Bloodline
Chapter 181 - 1: Strafing_4

Chapter 181: Chapter 1: Strafing_4

Seven once lively and energetic bodies fell backwards, their entire forms riddled with gaping, compressed holes akin to a collapsed wasp’s nest. Blood spurted out of their hollow, perforated bodies in distorted streams, whimpering piteously as it broke apart from the open wound, loath to let go of their crumbled domain.

The nail-headed bats and thick wooden shields they once gripped tightly were now riddled with appalling holes. A pool of dense blood quickly gathered on the lying red soil, immediately tinging the withered leaves on the ground a maple-like color. As they slowly floated in the red pool, the thirsty red soil quickly soaked up the blood, leaving behind nothing but distorted patches of black soil and leaves speckled with blood as proof of all that had transpired.

This was pure madness!

The Bear Goblin bandits couldn’t wrap their heads around the fact that there existed a piglet in this world that could release a barrage of water arrows.

How could they even hope to stay alive against such a sudden downpour of water arrows?

Ning Yu and Avril were also shocked. Although they had seen the piglet perform the Water Arrow spell before, they had never imagined that such a simple spell, when used for killing, could be so horrifying.

The goblin robber rushing in the line behind remained the sole survivor, unable to move another step forward. All he could recall was a flash of silver light, and all his companions ahead of him had fallen in an instant. A silver-tinted water arrow, streaked with bloody red, exerted so much force that it sent his nail-headed bat flying, completely obliterating the murder intent he had been harboring in his heart.

Watching this death-reaping Pigel pointed the silver-light-laced piglet toward himself, and looking at the wisps of cigar smoke wafting around, the sole fortunate one collapsed in utter defeat.

The squad of Bear Goblins, ready to leap ahead with a "Thump", only managed two steps before they faltered and returned with a "Thump".

One of the Bear Goblins, who had rushed ahead fastest, tried to hit the breaks only to find his hands and feet unresponsive, and he ended up frozen stock-still, wielding his bat, in front of Piegel.

His Bat was raised, but he couldn’t bring himself to strike, with a vacant expression on his face.

Piegel slapped the stunned bear goblin across the throat with an audible sound. His Adam’s apple was slashed to nothing.

This pitiful bear goblin bandit dropped to the ground, clutching his throat, his legs kicking wildly. His trachea was completely severed, he could no longer draw a breath of air, his face quickly turned purple. His dark, rough nails scratched deeply into his throat in a desperate attempt to draw a breath of fresh air.

The bear goblin was backpedaling for dear life, leaving behind a filthy trail on the ground. His once fierce and brutal eyes were now akin to that of a rabbit under the claws of a wolf, full of fear and evasion.

"Eat this, and I won’t kill you." Piegel stood in front of bear goblin with his piglet, lightly kicked the loose pebbles on the ground with his boot.

The evening wind was getting more turbulent, and the sound of waves began to echo from the surrounding grass. The spurs on Piegel’s boots spun in the wind.

The entire place was eerily silent, apart from the purposely suppressed breathing. All eyes were locked onto this unlucky Bear Goblin bandit.

The frightened bear goblin scanned his surroundings in horror. Every comrade he looked at turned away their face. Each of the goblin bandits felt their hearts sink to their backsides, as if they have fallen into a pit of ice, sending a chill down their spine.

"It seems like you lack courage." Piegel trod on the bear goblin, whose trachea had been severed, breaking his arm. The crisp sound of bones splintering made all the bear goblins’ eyebrows twitch.

Looking at his companion who couldn’t even cry out in pain, the bear goblin didn’t hesitate anymore, and grabbed handfuls of sand from the ground, stuffing his mouth magicingsly, his throat choking with dry coughs.

Snot and tears streamed down the humiliated face of the bear goblin.

"That’s a good boy." Piegel laughed. The sharpness in his eyes reminded everyone of the looming ivory knives just moments ago.

The proud owner who had turned around looked at all the Bear Goblin bandits, gave a gentlemanly bow, "Gentlemen! How do you find the offer now?"

The piglet in his arms grunted, sparks flew off the cigar butt.

The night wind blew fiercer, like howling.
