The Wolf, in fact, had quite a sense of humor.
Robert Baggio also thought that this celebrant was a delightful character, especially after Liu Zhenhan offered him a cigar.
Once all barriers were set aside, the two of them behaved like old friends who had known each other for many years.
The Hobbit Halflings had a small kingdom in the Bering mountain range, with a population of about ten thousand, scattered among the mountain peaks.
The Halflings never liked a wandering life; their only pursuit was good food.
Almost every Halfling was an outstanding culinary master.
They were the only indigenous tribe to show friendliness when the Bimon army retreated to the Donau Wasteland a thousand years ago.
Any Bimon Beastman passing a Halfling village was treated with the best hospitality and food.
The Halflings’ hospitality was as renowned across the continent as the elves’ aloofness, the humans’ treachery, and the Orcs’ strength.
Currently, in the logistical support group of the Wolf Mig Legion, the chefs were all Hobbit Halflings.
Therefore, the Wolf Tribe was rather concerned about the safety of the Halflings.
After all, the height of a Halfling was only that of a normal human child.
Despite their courage, their kind virtues and pure hearts made them fundamentally averse to fighting.
The formidable magical beasts of the Bering Mountains have always troubled the Halflings, causing their populace to remain low.
Only upon seeing these Halflings for himself did Liu Zhenhan understand how difficult it was for such a race to survive in these mountains.
Every Halfling in the village welcomed the arrival of the Bimon forces.
Seeing the Halflings, none of whom were even a meter high, Liu Zhenhan thought of the Dwarf blacksmith he had met.
That Dwarf, though short, must still have been slightly taller than these Halflings.
Their large, curly-haired feet made Liu Zhenhan quite concerned about their living standards.
The Halflings’ houses were constructed from thatch and small stones, barely reaching the height of Liu Zhenhan’s head.
Therefore, the large group had to sit on the open ground in the village.
The Panda warriors and Mastiff People sat down ever so carefully, fearing that they might inadvertently collapse these delicate little houses.
The Halfling elder, leaning on his cane, nearly hurled himself into the arms of Robert, the Bimon.
He had a baby-faced complexion but sported a long beard.
The elder tearfully explained the tragic experiences in the village to the help.
The occurrence was indeed infuriating.
The Halflings were notorious for their gluttony, requiring six meals a day and especially fond of drinking their home-brewed wine.
The Halflings in this village took several years to clear a piece of land in the valley behind their village, planning to plant lilies, an ingredient used to brew Hobbit Rum.
Given the size of the halflings, anyone could imagine how difficult it was for them to clear the forest.
But who would have thought that after so much effort, the entire crop of lilies, which they painstakingly planted, was completely occupied by a suddenly appearing Star-tailed turtle.
This Star-tailed turtle ate half of these hard-planted lilies in just two or three days.
This nearly sent the Hobbits, who considered food as precious as life itself, into a state of collapse.
At first, they thought to drive away this Star-tailed turtle, but their bows and arrows were entirely useless against this beast that was impervious to blades and spears.
Some of the brave ones attempted to fight the turtle with short swords but were flattened with a single swing of its tail.
“Bimon warriors!
Please save us!
If this goes on, all the lilies that have been cultivated for several years will be gone.
These lilies are the vital ingredients for our Rum!” The Halfling elder sobbed, “Without Rum to join in this year’s wine competition, our Dado Village will be driven out of the Bering mountain range by the entire Halfling kingdom!”
Liu Zhenhan took a bow and arrow from a Halfling.
The petite little bow looked more like a toy.
Liu Zhenhan, reversing the arrowhead, poked Karu the Ogre’s buttocks.
Karu blinked his big eyes but did not react.
“Don’t worry!” Robert comforted the Halfling elder, “We brought with us two great celebrants from the kingdom.
We are surely able to drive away this terrifying magical beast.”
The beauty of the three gorgeous women made the Halflings almost breathless.
Upon learning that there were also two legendary celebrants with them, they scrutinized the three women with bright eyes but completely ignored Liu Zhenhan, who had been striking poses for quite a while.
“Wonderful!” The Halfling elder said joyously, “As long as this frightening Star-tailed turtle is driven away, we will send each of the three great personas five gallons of our Rum once it’s brewed!”
Liu Zhenhan noticed one detail.
When the mention of Rum came up, this group of wolf cavalry, even stern-faced Robert, involuntarily swallowed hard.
“You must eat unfermented bread and drink clean spring water.
Use your fighting will to resist degeneration and corruption.
Stay away from alcohol and beauty.
Stay away from fancy ornaments, and use the blood of warriors to prove your medals,” Liu Zhenhan chanted the code of the Bimon Knights while sneakily observing Robert’s expression.
This Bimon Knight’s code was something Liu Zhenhan had quietly memorized when Prince Richard was boasting the other day.
He didn’t expect it to come in handy today.
